一、作为一间名校，应该有其历史的积淀。人们常把学校比喻为殿堂，我想这不单指学习氛围，也应包括环境氛围，而且环境是最直接的。去年，xx中学115周年志庆，今年已经是116年了，如此历史悠久的中学，在信宜是独一无二的，在全省也罕有，而更难能可贵的是，我校还保留了办学初期的校址“中义学堂”。(听说有人士鉴定其并非原中义学堂，因此拆了也无足可惜。)姑且不去追究其历史的真实性，就凭这建筑的独特性，历史年份的久远是毋庸置疑的，更何况它已被大家形成共识，这就是xx中学的起源，是中义学堂的代表与象征。我们应该为前人为我们留下这样一块宝地而感到欢欣鼓舞。其实很多历史珍贵建筑并非都是它的原有建筑，如西安的大雁塔、洞庭湖边的岳阳楼、武汉的黄鹤楼等，都曾经被焚毁或倒塌，但它们的历史价值谁会去怀疑。所以，我认为，不管此中义学堂是否为彼中义学堂，都应该是xx中学的瑰宝，非常值得我们珍惜的瑰宝!

二、拥有独特的历史建筑是xx中学的一大优势，是镇中历史与文化的见证。xx中学不但有中义学堂还有中山亭、五羊雕像，还有大榕树。这些建筑与古树，少则六、七十年，多则上百年，这是信宜其它学校所没有的。而这些建筑与古树见证了一代又一代海内外校友的成长。我翻看了历史资料，惊喜地发现，原来中山亭曾经是革命志士演说与聚会的地方。这些独特的风景不但装点了校园，而且承载了无数校友的记忆与感情，试问如果一旦被人为毁掉，哪一个校友会原谅?对于老一代镇中人，这些地方就是xx中学的代表，其它再华丽的建筑也取代不了他们心目中的地位。

三、学校应该充分利用在这些人文景观加强学校的素质教育。xx中学正在努力打造成一所具艺术特色的中学，近年抓素质教育，成绩喜人，校园文化活动丰富多彩，学校充满生机与活力。如果再结合学校独有的人文历史优势，将这些历史建筑打造成图书馆、校园讲坛、校园文化广场等，必将更进一步增加镇中的文化底蕴与内涵。曾几何时，xx中学的黑板报起名“大榕树下”，多么贴切而可爱的名字。不知如今xx中学是否还保留着这块宣传的阵地，如果没有，我建议可以出版一份学校的校刊(月刊)——《大榕树下》，把它打造成师生沟通的桥梁、展示校园文化的舞台、宣传教育的阵地。因此，校园的老建筑、古树应该加以修葺与保护，以便能发挥其在校园文化建设中不可替代的作用。

四、我们应该屏弃和抵制一些人急功近利的想法，凝聚共识，积极争取上级支持，申请将xx中学的古建筑列为历史文物，争取经费保护与修葺，使这些历史建筑重新焕发生机，打造xx中学更深厚的品位与魅力。

上述一些不成熟的思考，请校长批评指正。最后，衷心希望xx中学能处理好校园建设与历史保护之间的矛盾，在您的正确领导下，大展宏图，迈向更高的台阶，创造更辉煌的成绩!

to keep a servant, my mother has always to do very much work. She gets up very

early and sleeps very late every day. She works hard, yet without

complaining.

She is also a thrifty, and industrious woman. She saves every cent that she

can and keeps everything in order. As she has been busy eversince she was young,

she looks older than she really is. Her face is wrinkled, her hair becomes

silver white, but she works as hard as ever.

Often she says to us, "work while you work, play while you play. If you do

not work, you will become lazy and of no use to society." What piece of good

advice this is! We must worth it well and always keep it in our mind.

My name is WangLei . My birthday is on August 11. We have a good birthday

party. My mother makes a birthday cake for me. It’s big and tasty. My father

give me a football. Because I like playing football. Many friends come to my

home .We are very happy. They give me a lot of presents and some birthday cards.

We sing and dance. We eat food and fruit. We play games together. We have a good

time.

It is very hot and wet today and is called sauna weather.During my mom did

the cooking in the kitchen, I saw her head was sweaty.I told her I could help

her and she accepted.

After cooking,we were all sweaty .However, mum and I all felt happy. She

said I was growing up and became her good assistant.
