I have rested for XX days. In these days, I felt very bored. I didn’t know to do what. Although I had a lot of things to do, I felt unnetfortable. I was ill because of the cold weather. 但是在这个节庆里，虽然我们小孩子很开心，但是那些大人们都要忙着出去拜年，也要花很多钱来包红包，真是大失血啊!不过我们可大捞了一把，不过这也得感谢我那新生的小妹妹，多亏了她我才有了这么多的钱可捞。

快乐的时光总是短暂的，我的假期也随着大海付之东流，只留下了一箩筐的作业，这下可以大开“杀戒”了。

首先，星期一到星期五做英语和数学的作业：

早上八点十五起床，刷牙洗脸吃早餐共二十分钟，大约八点三十五的时候开始做英语阅读，每天做三篇(包括翻译全文、吵不懂的单词词组、差不懂的单词词组)这三篇大概做一个小时，然后休息十五分钟。休息了之后把爸爸妈妈扫十五分钟地。扫完就继续去做作业，做英语抄单词的作业(满天抄二十个单词，三天抄完)，然后不用休息继续做数学的口算(每天做二十五道题)然后和妹妹玩一会儿就去吃饭。吃饭不能超过二十分钟否则罚做10个俯卧撑。

中午睡一个小时后起来做一张数学的黄冈密卷(大概做二十到三十分钟)之后读《青铜葵花》一书，大概读了半个小以后自由玩一个半小时(自由分配)不过晚点到只有周六周天可以玩半个小时的电脑。

玩了一个半小时之后就帮爸爸管一下妹妹，让他不要把家里搞得乱遭遭的。陪玩妹妹爸爸就做好饭了，这是妈妈就回来了，吃完饭不超过三十分钟。

晚上和爸爸妈妈一起读《好兵帅克》和《青铜葵花》。

这就是我的寒期计划!

holiday is very dull. i stay at home for most of time. sometimes i visit my friends and play basketball with them. sometimes we go shopping.

one day, we go to the kfc. we have hamburgers, chicken coke and french fries. we have sore throats. we go home and have a rest. then we feel better. we go and play computer games! how mad we are!

this is the only thing i can talk about in the holiday.

During the winter holiday, I was very happy because of the Chinese new year and other reasons. During the holiday, my parents and I went back to my hometown in the countryside in Hebei Province. I had not come back for several years, so that I was so surprised to find that great changes had taken place in this small village in the past years. Seeing these amazing changes, my father said that he would go back to my hometown as soon as he retired. As for me, I strongly supported his idea.

This week I didnt do many wonderful things．

I went to learn developing film with my classmates on July 1st． It was easy and we all got good marks．

On July 4th， I went to school to learn， because I will be a junior three student soon． We would have to learn some lessons in advance． The weather was very hot． But I didnt feel that learning lessons was boring． Some teachers are new． They are good I think， although they are all looked strict． And the lessons were not too bad．

This week was the beginning of this summer holiday， but it was really typical ．

First I often listen to music ,then I take a showerahd have a breakfast,then I do my homework and have dinner.After I can taking a nap on 2 oclock.At 4 oclock ,I can play the computer and football.Last I have lunch and sleep.

On New Years Eve,all the family people get together to have a big dinner in the resturant.It make our family people get toghther.We enjoy ourselves and in the new year we all strive hard.

Should Class Attendance be Required?

Nowadays required class attendance is very common at colleges and universities. Most people accept ti as a necessary policy t ensure the normal teaching order and create a good study atmosphere. Besieds, they think it is a good urge for those students who lack self-discipline.

However, still some others do not agree this argument. In their opinion, rigid attendance policies do not benefit students studies. A student may have to give up a lecture which he finds bital to his studies simply because he dare not run the risk of being penalized for his absence of his course. Besides, they say there is no proven correlation between attendance and performance.

As for me, I am in favor of the latter opinion. Required class attendance may secure one hundred percent attendance for a course, but it does not make much sense. A student may never be absent in a course, but who knows whether or not he is just sistting there daydreaming all the time. Therefore, a student should allowed to decide for himself whether an in-class wxperience is worthwhile.
