Lanterns are everywhere. A most interesting tradition is the posting of riddles called Lantern Riddles. Riddles are written on pieces of paper and posted on lanterns or wall. Any one solving the riddle is awarded a prize. And the food for lantern festival is Tang Yuan, i have made some Tang Yuan in a ginger soup, my wife got a serious cold, so i cooked a pot of ginger soup for her. Today， I did housework for grandmother。 She is not very healthy and I

decide to do housework for her more frequently。 And she will feel happy and bee

better。 Suddenly， an idea hit me that it’s terrible to grow old becuase you have

to worry about both your health and others’ opinions。 Once again， I make a

decision to be a good girl。

Today I was sad because I was blamed. The day before yesterday, my father gave me a tast. He told me to finish math exercises and he would check today. I have to days to finish them. Ann is one of my friends. She is myclassmate. She always dress in blue. I don’t known whether is because of herthat my favorite color is blue. She is cute and naive. Our teachers always praiseher in front of the class for her excellent study and great personality. I likestay with her. So does she. She likes drawing pictures. To be a painter in thefuture is her dream. I know she will realize her dream on day.

everything with money。” For some people， money is everything。 They think they

Today, my family go to the zoo. We go there by car, and we arrive there at

around 3 p.m. I see many kinds of animals in the zoo, like dog, elephant, rabbit

and giraffe. They are so cute. I watch them for a long time. At around 6 p.m, we

go back home. This trip is interesting.

Yesterday was my birthday, so some of my classmates sent me presents.

Mother prepared a tea party for me. I invited all of them to come and take part

in it.The tea party began at half past six. There were cold drinks and

I have a great time during the winter holiday, because I enjoy myself as

well as focus on my study. As it’s known to all, the Spring Festival is the most

important in winter holiday that would occupy much time to celebrate it.

Therefore, I finished my homework first, so that it won’t bother my enjoyment

during the festival. I finished my home work in one week. And I went shopping

with my parents. We bought a lot of things, especially snacks and fruits. Then,

it was the Spring Festival. We had a big dinner on the New Year’s Eve. My

parents prepared the big dinner and I could only act as assistant. The dinner

was so delicious that I ate so full. In the next several days, my parents and I

visited our relatives and friends or they visited us. Sometimes, we went out for

fun together. We children were always the most excited. Now, holiday is coming

to the end and I will go to school soon. I am so happy that I have a wonderful

winter holiday.

记得那是1年级的时候。

那是一个阳光明媚的下午，放完学的我和我的好朋友飞鸡婆、聪儿一起回家，因为我那时口袋有3块钱，所以就为他们买了4盒刮炮，自己两盒刮炮。因为我比较贪玩，所以在到家时，就玩得只剩一个了。

我们各自在家写完作业后，就在我们的“秘密基地”集合。我们拿好放在“秘密基地”的4盒加1根刮炮，就向我家院子前的池塘“进攻”了。

到了池塘，我们拿出3盒刮炮玩，不一会儿就玩完了。

突然，我们看到一群鸭子正在下水游泳，于是我跟同伴说了说，我们一拍即合，说干就干!

我找到一个玻璃瓶子，往里面放了一点纸。再把剩余的2盒 刮炮加一根大的“齐天大圣”放进去，然后迅速将里面点火，再把盖子堵好，丢到鸭子旁边的水里。

现在最后1步要干什么呢?闪人!

我们赶紧躲进我家，不是因为被玻璃刮伤，而是怕别人看到!

只听巨大的一声“砰!”我们马上就懊丧失望了:原来只有一只鸭子受了伤。本以为我们的计策万无一失的说。突然，我们又容光焕发了：原来除了那只受了伤的鸭子外，还有一只死鸭子在后面。我们高兴得将旁边的泥巴全部扔进池塘里。忽然，我们好像想到什么似的，马上就各奔东西了。

If I have a lot of money, I will have the chance to do what I want to do.

First I’ll travel around the world, because I love traveling, and then I’ll give some money to schools and charities. I’ll try my best to help the people who are in trouble. What do you think the life in the future will be like?

Every family will have computers and robots. Computers will help us know a

lot all over the world. Robots will help us do most of the housework. They can

help us do some cleaning， cooking or washing. We can do some shopping and see a

doctor without going out. Students can study at home on computers. People will

live to be 200 years old because of the better medical care.

Our life will be better and better. For this， we should study hard. I

believe we’ll be able to do this.

Traveling is a good activity. When you are fed up with your work and study, and when you are free, you can go to a beautiful place to enjoy the beauty of nature, you can breathe fresh air, and make some friends. But sometimes, it is not a good thing. The weather often changes, you may be caught in the rain and may catch a cold while traveling. Therefore, you should prepare yourself carefully before the trip. The population of the world has already passed six billion. The population problem may be the greatest challenge of the world today. The earth has been very crowded and there will be standing room only before long.

China’s One Child Policy is a good way to solve this problem and stop the population from growing so fast. It also can help our country develop quickly then people’s standard of living will become higher and higher.

It was sunny and very hot today.I got up early and helped my parents cook breakfast.Then I washed the dishes and cleaned the room.After a short rest I did my homework in the morning.In the afternoon I went swimming in the nearest swimming pool with my friends.It was really cool to swim in such a hot day.I surfed the internet and read a storybook in the evening.I really had a busy and interesting day.

My Bedroom

I am very happy today for I had the chance to help the old people in our

subdistrict. Nowadays, many adults are busy with therir job and have no time to

take good care of their old parents. I want to try my best to help the old come

Xiaomei and I went out this morning. We went to the city centre. We went

The first time of eating buffet

This morning，my bset friend XiaoLuo called me out for buffet dinner. I have

never gone to eat buffet before.

we met at the gate of buffet restaurant of HanTingXuan near the Center

square in GuiLin downtown at 11 am.After buying tickets we went into

therestaurant excitedly.As a food junkie，to be honest，I was totally stunned by a

whole bunch of

delicious!grill，hamburger，cake，sushi，drinks，seafood，iscream，hotpot，ect. In

total， I ate four piece of cake，five sushis，a plate of grill，an iscream，a cup of

lemon juice，five dumplings，a fly rice，a cup of pudding，a plate of fruit

sala，some popcorn，two puffs and some Canonese Dim Sum.After two hours eating，I

felt extreamely stuffed that my belly were going almost burst !To relieve

stomach tension，then we hang around the town.

第一次吃自助餐
