Last summer, my family and I went to Hawaii for a holiday!

We flew across the Pacific to the tiny island from Beijing. After we booked

into a hotel, we rested. Our fun started the next day and lasted for two long

weeks. During our time there, we ate delicious exotic food and drank numerous

fruit juices. The Hawaiians are very proud of their unique food, often spiced

up with slices of juicy pineapple and strings of delicious cheese. There were

also fantastic beaches right accoss the tiny atoll. The water was sparkling blue

and the sand dunes radiated with an inviting warmth of gold. The place was

wonderful and the locals were really nice; I really enjoyed my holiday.

The ways to keep healthy Everyone wants to live long, however, that just

depends on your bodys health. Do you know how to keep healthy? Id like to

offer you two ways: 1) Proper Dinners: Generally speaking, one should eat 3

times every day. But some students who get up late will ignore the breakfast,

which will do a very bad effect on their healty.

Anyway, some girls who would

prefer to be thin will avoid eating anything or only little during the meal

time. Both of the two ways are bad habits of dining. We shouldnt feel hungry or

full after dinners. Students are usually very busy with their homework, so

they cannot take time to do exercises or too lazy to do them. This is another

killer to health. We should at least take time to have P.E lessons or do morning

exercises everyday to keep health. All in all, Being in fitness is our goal,

its also the basic of all contributions and success.

The Olynpic Games The Olympic Games, first held in 776BC, has a history of more than one thousand yiars. The Games is held every four years. Many countries try their best to bid forhosting the Olympic Games. And every country does its best to get more medals in the Games. In 2000, the city of Sidney held the 27th Olympic Games. Over one hundred countries all over the world took part in it. We won 28gold medals that year. China, a major sport country, will hold the 29th Olympic Games in 2008. People from all walks of life are participating in various activities and making good preparations for it. In the morning, it is very fine! Then I climb the mountain with family, the

air on the mountain is very fresh, the flowers plants and trees on the mountain

all seem extremely beautiful. In the afternoon, I go to friends home to play,

the friend entertains me warmly, show me a lot of books of his , has listened to

his CD for me , then also ask me to eat a sumptuous dinner. Coming back home in

the evening, family and I sat and watched TV together, we are returning and

eating the fruit while chatting, the whole family is happy and harmonious!

I didnt go anywhere today. I stayed at home doing my homework and helping my

mother with housework. I realised it was not easy to do so much housework allby

oneself. I should help mother more in the future.

There is no doubt that learning English is vital for us. On the one hand,

English has become an international language that people can communicate with

each other in many countries. On the other hand, if we learn English well, we

could get more chance of success.

However, it is well-known that there are many methods for us to learn

English well. There are some tips. First, we can study in a group to improve

learning efficiency. Second, we could listen to English songs and watch English

movies; this way is very suitable for student to improve their listening and

speaking abilities. Third, I have believed that a great deal of practice can

strengthen language knowledge.

In a word, it is natural for us to learn English well by making efforts. If

we didnt work hard, we would never do well in learning English.

The new term is coming. I am so excited because in the new term, I will be

a Grade 8 student. In the new term, I will have some new teachers. As for me, I

want to make a difference in the new term, so I have made a plan for it.First,

my Chinese and English are the best and I will work hard to keep them good as

usual. But my math and physics are not as good as Chinese and English.

Therefore, I have to try my best to improve them. Except preview and finishing

homework, I have to review regularly to strengthen knowledge. Second, I will pay

more attention to news, so that I will read more newspapers and watch news

program. I dont want to be a student who just study only. Last, I will do

exercise twice a week. Badminton and table tennis are my favorites. All in all,

I look forward to my life in Grade 8.

My Classmates I have many friends in my class. Theyre lovely and interesting. I would like to introduce some of them. Alice is very cute. Shes also kind to everyone and shes very enthusiastic. This day is too busy .We only have one day to Spring Festival .My father

and I stick these Spring Festival scrolls(春联) on the wall . The work is to tired

but we are happy . I can cut tape to my father and he stick .In this way ,we

finish these tired task .After this ,we clean the room .1st ,I can clean the

floor .The wall is owned to my father .And my mother clean the window .We

Last summer, intolerable heat, so mom and Dad brought our family went to see the ice sculpture museum.

As soon as we walked into the ice sculpture museum, we felt the chill of the inside, and I knew it was only minus six degrees Celsius. Were just like going into a big fridge. Ice sculptures in the ice sculpture hall are lifelike. It stood the ancient "Four Beauties": Sha Shi, Mochizuki Pipa Wang Zhaojun, Diao Chan, Yang dancing, all lovingly pathetic. The side see also the twists and turns of the bridge deck and handrails, sparkling, shining. There are all kinds of ice sculptures at the side of the bridge. It was found that the eaves of a unique Pavilion were flying, the pillars were beautiful, and the chairs were exquisite, so that people could not help sitting down and resting for a while.
