哈哈!今天我要去福州参加全国英语人才选拔大赛福建赛区的比赛啦!

天还没亮，我们就出发了。经过两个多小时的颠簸(我晕车了，还当了“小兔”，嘻嘻!)，我们来到了比赛地点——福州教育宾馆，却被告知：我参加的小学B组的比赛下午开始。哎，白忙乎了一阵，早知道中午来就行了。不过，妈妈决定带我去五一广场逛逛，我也乐得开心，虽然天阴沉沉的。

下午，小学B组的比赛开始了。看着前面选手的表演，我的心里什么味都有。听到那选手一口流利的英语，我赞叹不已;看到那选手言情并茂、维妙维俏的表演，我为他喝彩;那选手忘词了，我替他捏着一把汗;那选手表演得不怎么样，我觉得我胜他一筹，内心充满了希望……“请44号选手林欢上场”，呀!终于轮到我了，我的心砰砰直跳。深吸了两口气，我站起来，自如地走上台，大方地鞠了一躬，“Goodafternoon，ladiesandgentlemen……”开始了我的英语自我介绍。渐渐地，我心里的那块石头落地了，说得越来越流畅。但是，这毕竟是个全省性的比赛，面对那么多的评委和观众，心里还是有那么一点紧张，导致我在讲英文故事时，漏做了两个优美的舞蹈动作，好可惜啊!“That`sall。Thankyousomuch!”我带着胜利的微笑走下台。妈妈看出了我的那点紧张感，但旁边的阿姨说我很自如、很大方。

The movie was so exciting that I coulnt be calm 。I would never forget this

What do you think the life in the future will be like?

Every family will have computers and robots. Computers will help us know a

lot all over the world. Robots will help us do most of the housework. They can

help us do some cleaning， cooking or washing. We can do some shopping and see a

doctor without going out. Students can study at home on computers. People will

live to be 200 years old because of the better medical care.

Our life will be better and better. For this， we should study hard. I

believe we’ll be able to do this.

It was sunny and very hot today. I got up early and helped my parents cook

breakfast. Then I washed the dishes and cleaned the room. After a short rest I

did my homework in the morning. In the afternoon I went swimming in the nearest

swimming pool with my friends. It was really cool to swim in such a hot day. I

surfed the internet and read a storybook in the evening. I really had a busy and

interesting day.

A new experience

Yesterday I did commonweal in library to earn my public service

scores(which is similar to the compulsory credits).I arrived library at 8’clock

in the morning,a librarian let me to wipe the mirror in every toilet from one to

six floor.Then I started to wipe the mirrors.It was been two hours after I

finished all work.I was very tired,but looking at the shiny and clean mirrors I

had wiped, I felt very happy.To be honest,I had never done the things like it at

home,so it was a new experience to me,and it make me realize the hard work of my

parent.

到了池塘，我们拿出3盒刮炮玩，不一会儿就玩完了。

突然，我们看到一群鸭子正在下水游泳，于是我跟同伴说了说，我们一拍即合，说干就干!

我找到一个玻璃瓶子，往里面放了一点纸。再把剩余的2盒 刮炮加一根大的“齐天大圣”放进去，然后迅速将里面点火，再把盖子堵好，丢到鸭子旁边的水里。

现在最后1步要干什么呢?闪人!

我们赶紧躲进我家，不是因为被玻璃刮伤，而是怕别人看到!

只听巨大的一声“砰!”我们马上就懊丧失望了:原来只有一只鸭子受了伤。本以为我们的计策万无一失的说。突然，我们又容光焕发了：原来除了那只受了伤的鸭子外，还有一只死鸭子在后面。我们高兴得将旁边的泥巴全部扔进池塘里。忽然，我们好像想到什么似的，马上就各奔东西了。

这就是我在夏天搞的恶作剧!

昨天下午，我们班进行了英语考试。今天，当试卷发下来以后，成绩是60分!从未有过的低分数!我被这个成绩怔住了，我迫不急待地打开试卷，想要看看到底是怎么一回事。 通过整张卷子的卷面来看，我最大的问题在于审题。最后，则是积累问题。这点可以从我的作文中看出，在我想到一句很好的话时，却因为一个单词而放弃。可见我平时的积累还是太少。因为这次成绩不太理想，所以有好好的分析卷子，写下了这篇反思报告。希望做到以上几点，并取得进步。

I went to visit the Great Wall with my friends during the summer vacation.

We went there by bus. It took us about two hours to get there. It was hot and

windy that day. There were thousands of people. When we saw a group of

foreigners,we went up and talked with them. We told them lots of history of the

Great Wall. They were very surprised when they saw that our English were

exellent and we knew a lot about the Great Walls history. They thanked us a lot

and we really had a good time. We felt proud of ourselves and being Chinese.

我小时候怕放炮，别人在外面放炮，我躲在家里捂着耳朵。小伙伴们叫我出去放炮，我不敢放。每当春节来临时，便是我有开心又害怕的时刻。害怕什么呢?当然是怕被炮伤到啦。在妈妈的督促下和小伙伴们的鼓励下。我还是不敢去。妈妈说：“男孩子不敢放炮，没有一点英雄气概，真不像话!你只要把炮一点，跑就行了。”终于我答应和小伙伴们一起放炮了。从此我爱上发了放炮。从这件事中，我明白了，这要勇敢，就会成功的!

The tomb sweeping day is one of the traditional festivals in China. On April 5th, people start to visit their ancestors’ tombs. Generally speaking, people will bring the home-made food, some fake money and paper-made mansion to their ancestors. When they start to honour their ancestor, they will light up some candles and incense, put some flowers around the tombs.

The most important thing is to put the home-made food in front of the tombs. The food, also known as sacrifices, is usually made up with a chicken, a fish and some pork. It’s a symbol of the offspring’s respect to the ancestors. People believe that the forbears will share the food with them. The children dedicate the food and money to their forbears in order to show their love and caring. The young offspring will go down on their knees and pray for their ancestors. They can say their wishes in front of the tombs and the ancestors will make their dreams come true.

In some provinces of China, people use different activities to commemorate this day, for instance, spring-outing, swinging, tree planting and making special food. One special food is Ay Tsao rice balls. It looks like Tang-yuan, but its colour is green. Mix the ay tsao juice with the rice powder, then make it into small balls. The Ay Tsao rice ball is done. People believe that eating ay tsao rice balls can get rid of the bad luck and everything will go smoothly. Other activities such as spring outing, tree planting are the other ways to commemorate the forbears. For one thing, it is a sign that people should look into the future and embrace the hope; for another thing, we do hope our ancestor rest in peace.
