它的伙食愈发愈好，每天至少三顿里有一顿是大骨头。它才发现原来这个大院对他待遇不薄。就是如此，它一次比一次大胆，到了吃饭时间总是嚷嚷着。性格也开始发生了变化，不再屈膝而卧，而是站起来叫几声，在大院里一个人蹦蹦跳跳，自娱自乐。有时碰上大院里的人，还会前肢扑上去。它也会跟人交流沟通了，但这交流无非是它那小眼睛中渴望的美食和放在外边别的大笨舌头罢了。

它的性格慢慢和我相符，我也愿意有空去花些时间与它交流。谁知道他能不能听懂我那地方口音。它也不管三七二十一就围着我喊叫。它不满时，会前肢一跃，两只前爪不左不右正好搭在我的肩膀上。还又一次更甚。晚上八点多回院子里时，天空已经黑下来了。哪知它在院子中静静等待我向前多跨出那一小步？“噗通”两只前爪搭在我的肩上，那个大鼻子恰巧落到我的左半唇上，给我着实一惊。

就在感情慢慢地发展中时，我给予了它一个生日。5月25日，就在我生日的前一天，我希望它能和我一样得到快乐和幸福。

可是好景不长，一日放学回家，往日那个硕大的背影早已消散，留下的只是记忆中不曾拥有的一片空地。因为它吃得太多，也不能一直这样养着它，父亲把它送到了比较远它的野性。

又过了一段时间，饭后一家三口正在小径上散步，父亲慢吞吞地哽咽着：淘淘丢了。”“什么，怎么回事，还没找到吗？”我和母亲一左一右着急的询问着，“别人拿骨头把他引走了，监控摄像头能看到然后”他不说我们什么都知道，母亲此时正在小径上蹲下哭起来。我却没有流泪，身体里仿佛有股巨大的力量使我如何都落不下泪。

打给两年前又有一只生灵来到了这个大院，我没有给它定下一个生日，只是给予它另一个名字“优优”，它没有淘淘那么庞大，只是一只长不大的八哥犬，衣服颜色也要比淘淘的正宗许多，确是比套套好看。我细心的照料着它，因为我忘不了淘淘，那个侵占了我半个唇的家伙。

每年的5月25日，我会默默的为它庆祝生日，当然是以另一种方式，我细心的照料优优即是对它的爱。我会保护好狗，这些人类忠实的朋友，是它们在这个世界上的每一天都是生日。
