This August I went to a two-week long English camp which was held by English Beacon in Yantai city, Shandong Province. There were over a hundred middle school students from all over the country and thirty experts in English teaching participating in this exciting camp.

While we were there, it was required that we speak only English to our teachers and with each other. There were many activities which were funny and helped us to strengthen our oral English skills, such as, the Second Annual National Debate for Middle School Students,the Third National English Speech Competition for Middle School Students and English parties. 我在这个学期，表现并不理想。上七年级了，题难了，作业也多了 ，老实更加严格了，我们更要好好学习，往后的学习放在第一位，我这个学期交了许多好伙伴，我和他们玩的太高兴了，让人难以忘怀。我们的英语老师教的很好，让我爱上了学习。我非常感谢我的所有老师。

My Eddweiss

Eddwiss,edelweiss,every morning you grate me,small and white ,clean and bright.

You must have heard of this song.Do you look for edelweiss?I found it.In winter,I went to the mountain.I found a small edelweiss blossoming among grass.It had pure white.I endulged in the beautiful scenery.Edelweiss is like an angel,it is dancing and smiling to me.The next day I went to see it.I cannot forget that small edelwiess.

In my opinion the problem of the high schoolers＇ hair style has been overemphasized. So far as I know, this problem has been existing for quite a long time and possibly in our country alone. High school students are supposed to study hard, but it seems that few care what they really want. I just graduated from high school this year. While in high school I didn＇t care much about my hair style, but whenever the school checked to see if we had had our hair cut I always felt a little annoyed. If anyone forgot to have his hair cut to the required standard, he was sure to be reprimanded or even punished. I hope our high school can show a greater interest in helping students cultivate their minds than in picking holes in their hair. Once in a while our society seems to be interested in this problem too, but it is a pity that the students＇ own view in this matter is rarely consulted. That is why students often quarrel with their teachers, and this mutual misunderstanding is often detrimental to the students themselves. Most high school students do not really care what their hair style is; what they beef about is perhaps the constant check on their hair length. Why doesn＇t the Ministry of Education release high school students from this particular pressure? No wonder more and more youngsters in school are inclined to commit offenses. It is time to try and keep our educational house in order.

我的父亲是1969年出生的，可活了半辈子的他在我的印象中却没有过过一次生日，哪怕是在他的生日那天吃上一次不一样的饭，都是没有的，就和往常一样的平常。可是今年不知道是怎么了，我的妈妈非要给我老爸过一次生日......

今年爸爸的生日，妈妈一直提醒我，我便觉得不耐烦了。对我妈妈的提醒我总是“哦”的一声敷衍了事，让然后便又开始忙自己的事情。

直到父亲生日的那天下午，我才想起来忘记给父亲买生日礼物了。怎么办？我自己问自己。我身上当时只有十元钱！十元钱可以买什么？

最后，我买了一个陶瓷小猪，虽然又便宜又小跟一个手掌那么大，但是也是十分的可爱滴。

回到家，我漫不经心的把那可爱的小猪递给了我的父亲，并羞涩的说了一句：‘老爸生日快乐！’

当我的目光触碰到父亲的目光的那一刹那，我发现我的父亲的目光中带着深深的感动。

从小到大我都是喜欢和蔼可亲的妈妈，对严厉的父亲视而不见。他总是要求我做一些他自己力所能及的事情。对此我感到很不爽。

父亲把我送给他的东西都放在了我们家客厅最显眼的地方。我才知道他是多么看中这份微不足道的礼物。

there are 3 members in our family,my father,my mother and i.we love each other deeply.my father likes reading.we share a big bookshelf,and he take large proportion o f it.everyday he reading newspaper, magazines and all kinds of paper which have letters on it.my mum love to play computer games since i teach her how to do it.she likes to see the movies and play majiang on it.whats more, i like to do some games in our garden with my dog.we are very happiness for we can do whatever we like.we never quarel, if we have some promblems we will sit together and take suggestions from each other.My family is very harmonious，i love my family.

我家有三个成员，爸爸，妈妈和我。我们都非常爱彼此。我爸爸非常喜爱阅读，家里有一个我和他共用的书架，大部分都是他的书。每天都要找点什么来读，报纸啦，杂志啦，只要是有字的，他都要读上一读。我妈妈则爱上了电脑，自从我教会她如何看电影以及如何在上面打麻将之后，她就为之疯狂了。至于我，我喜欢和我的狗狗在室外一起做一些运动。我们是个幸福的家庭，因为我们可以做任何我们喜欢的事情，我们从不吵架，要是家里出现了任何问题，我们都会坐下来一起讨论解决。并听取彼此的意见。我的家庭很和谐。我爱我家。

元旦放假了。这是新的一年的开始，我想自己来安排我的元旦假日。以前，所有的节假日都是由爸爸妈妈来安排的，我的大多数时间都是在上各类补习班，根本没有自由支配的时间。这一次，我一定要争取——我的元旦我做主!

其实，对怎样过一个有意义的元旦，我早就有想法了，只是，这个计划的实现还需要爸爸妈妈的帮助。因为爸爸妈妈都是律师，我经常看到一些犯罪的案例：子女不孝顺父母，把年迈的父母赶出家门;发生交通事故后肇事者逃跑;骑车的人跌进无盖的窨井，受伤后得不到赔偿;因一点小纠纷大打出手;盗窃、抢劫乃至杀人、放火……这一个个触目惊心的案例令我痛心，这些违法的人都是法盲呀!就是因为不懂法，他们才走上了犯罪的道路。如果我们从小就增强法律意识，遇事有清晰的明辨是非的能力，就不会去做违法的事，也不会走上犯罪的道路了。为此，我决定这个元旦约上几个好朋友，让爸爸妈妈给我们讲一些法律知识，我们还可以上街发一些关于法律方面的宣传资料，让所有的人都增强法治观念，减少犯罪。

我把自己的想法告诉了爸爸妈妈，立刻得到了他们的大力支持。爸爸妈妈不但给我们讲了许多法律知识，为了支持我的“工作”，还在街上支起了义务咨询台，爸爸妈妈在寒风中为群众解答法律知识，解决法律难题，而我和小伙伴们一边散发宣传资料，一边告诉别人我们刚学到的法律知识。遇到解决不了的问题，我们就把他们领到爸爸妈妈的法律咨询台前，让爸爸妈妈帮忙解决。

看着厚厚的宣传资料一点点减少，看着拿到资料的人认真学习的样子，看着难题得到解决的人们满意而归的样子，我们也高兴极了。回到学校，我一定要让同学们也一起学习一些法律知识，从小培养法治观念，增强法律意识。大家一起行动起来，与违法犯罪斗争到底。让我们的生活中不再有犯罪现象，让我们的生活更加安定、和谐，更加幸福、美好!——

我的元旦我做主，我的元旦过得真有意义!
