美国内布拉斯加州树木稀少，土地干旱，风沙很大。为了改善这种恶劣的自然环境状况，莫顿先生在1872年4月10日倡议全民植树100万棵。其后，每年的这一天此州全民动员义务植树。就这样十几年间，此州1000公里的荒山野岭变成了森林，1885年，内部拉斯加州议会为表彰莫顿先生的功劳。以它的生日4月22日作为当地的植树节，这就是世界上最早的植树节。

我国也是开展植树节较早的国家之一，1915年，当时的中华民国政府规定，每年清明为植树节。新中国成立后，1979年，国务院正式决定3月12日为我国的植树节。

植树节，为了绿色和环境所设定的节日。如今，仍然有很多爱护环境的人们保持着植树节植树的习惯。但是，也有许多人根本不知道植树节这个重要的节日到底在哪一天。这是不是对环境的一种不尊重?是的。先不说植树罢，为什么还有那么那么多的人们随意伐树，破坏水源，浪费石油，使我们的生活环境受到严重的威胁?如果环境不是重要的，那为什么几乎所有的国家都设定了植树节?希望所有破坏过环境的人用心的去想一想。人类的家园不是你一个人的，而是属于一切生物的!难道人们都是冷淡的吗?难道一定要剥夺动植物们生存的权利吗?答案是否定的。保护环境靠大家，如果人们多付出写，相信大自然也会给予我们热情的报答。美国内布拉斯加州的事例不就证明了这一点吗?

我想，假如中国所有的人，每人用一双一次性筷子。那么，中国13亿人口，要浪费多少木材?我想，假如中国所有的人，每人用一只塑料袋。那么，中国13亿人口，要有多少白色污染?我想，假如中国所有的人，每人寄一张贺卡。那么，中国13亿人口，要耗费多大的资源?

植树节给了我很多的感悟，我希望每个人都可以为了一个共同的美好环境一起努力，创造一个美好的未来!

在三月份，学校开展了一系列宣传交通安全的活动，交通安全的标语，内容丰富的交通安全宣传栏，琅琅上口的交通安全四字歌，都使每一个同学意识到遵守交通法规是那样重要。一连几天的交通安全教育片放映更是把活动推向了高潮。家破人亡，白发人送黑发人，这些往往都是由于人们不遵守交通法规，麻痹大意造成的。一失足会成千古恨，同学们这一个个惨痛的教训难道还不能让我们铭记交通安全的重要性吗?听老师说我们中山是全国交通管理信息化的先进城市，我们中山的交通设施在全国也是走在前列的。这一切都为我们出行的交通安全提供了可靠的保证，我庆幸自己是一个中山人!但是我认为这还远远不够，要保证每一个人的交通安全，更重要的是让交通安全的意识活在每一个人的心里，人人都能自觉遵守交通法规。
