一提到生日，我们就会联想到一顿丰盛的晚餐和一个可口的生日蛋糕。可我的十一岁生日，我却只吃了四个小烧卖!

上个星期五，走在放学的路上，我的心里美滋滋的，心想：今天是我的生日，妈妈肯定会给我买一个漂亮美味的水果蛋糕，真是太棒了!刚回到家，只见平时都比我晚回家的妈妈已经在阳台上看书了，我的脸色立刻暗了下来——糟糕，我早饭没吃，这下完了，妈妈又要骂我了!

果然不出我所料，妈妈看见我回来了，劈头问道：“今天你犯了什么错误？”“我……我……没吃早饭……”我的声音轻得像蚊子叫。“为什么不吃？”妈妈提高了嗓音问道。“我吃不下。”“你知道吗？人长期不吃早饭是会影响健康的!你早晨在干什么？”“我……我在看书。”

原来，我从小就是一个小书迷，可是随着年级的升高，繁重的学业让我看书的时间越来越少，真让我伤心!今天妈妈前脚刚走，我后脚就把饭碗丢在一边，津津有味地看起了科幻小说《哈利·波特与死亡圣器》。我心想：反正每天妈妈都比我晚回来，只要下午放学回家把早点处理掉，不就万事大吉了吗？没想到……

妈妈生气地说：“今天是你的生日，本来我们是要好好庆祝一番的，你看，蛋糕都买好了!可是你竟然撒谎骗人，实在是不应该!今晚你就把没吃的四个烧卖当做生日晚餐吧，这样，你也可以记住这个教训!”

妈妈的话犹如当头给我泼了一盆冷水，浇得我透心凉!唉，俗话说得好：“若要人不知，除非己莫为。”这个生日会让我记一辈子的!
