railway has been built. Previously, my hometown was closed to the outside world.

equipment of my hometown.

Building new roads is the biggest project. It took

about half a year to build the new road. After finish, people have more methods

to make money. And we have more communication with other places, which is a good

way to develop ourselves. About two years latter, the railway was built. After

that, there have been more and more changes happened in my hometown. Now, my

hometown has developed into a big and rich town. People live a happy life.

I like to travel to different places, I can see the beautiful scenery and

get to know the different cultures. My friends and I always travel together, we

make many plans in advance. But the plans will always be interrupted by all

kinds of unexpected incidents, like the bad weather, the holiday being

cancelled, so we have to spend another time to wait for the trip. Traveling

alone can ignore these problems, I can go to travel whenever I want, I just need

to pick up my backpack, and then buy the ticket. It is so free, I don’t have to

My Birthday

I have a wonderful time on my birthday every year.But I will never forget

my tenth birthday.On that evening,my friends came to my house.We had a big

meal.Later,my mother put a big cake with ten candles,some fruit and drinks on

the table.I made a silent wish.My friends said“Happy Birthday”to me.They gave me

some nice presents,such as a basketball,flowers and my favorite books.We

sang,danced and played games.I thanked them very much for their presents.I also

thanked those who helped me and took good care of me,especially my parents.I

felt I was the happiest boy in the world.

Nowadays, working overtime is so common in many companies, especially in

foreign companies, private companies, and joint ventures. As far as I am

concerned, there are two main reasons of working overtime. For one thing, there

is indeed too much work to do.

If it is so, the boss should compensate staffs by

paying them as overtime salary or giving them vacations. For another, some

staffs are not suitable for their positions. In that case, the boss ought to

help them to improve their working efficiency. If they are still not qualified,

但是，曾经或者愿意成为信客那样的人却没有消失，他们仍然在世界的某个角落。科技是在进步，但作为人的一种思想，一种品质的象征的信客是永恒的，如同儒家的教育一样悠久，如雷锋的象征一样深远。他们这些人就是我们道德的最高境界，这种品质却永远不会想他们曾经的职业一样消逝，现在，他们仍在世界的某个角落默默的奉献着。

信客的苦是双方面的，他们赚的钱仅够糊口而已，但工作却异常艰辛，往往乡亲们的亲戚都不在一个城市，所以要走的路程可想而知，运气不好，遇到坏天气，可能难以吃的上饭，这些苦就是来自肉体与物质的;然而收到了如此苦难后的信客们，回乡却难以受到乡亲们的安慰，如果有哪家人死了，还得主动去安慰他的家人，任凭别人打骂。更糟糕的是，信客们常常收到乡亲们的无端怀疑，这使本身身体劳累的他们，心也累了。这些痛苦，这些磨难，不是你我所能承受的，然而，信客们都已默默承受，并没有丝毫怨言。

从幼儿园开始，我们的心里或多或少都有对老师的思念。但不管老师长什么样，他都是那个孩子心目中理想的完美老师。而我很幸运，因为我的理想老师出现在我的生活中。

她教的科目是英语。对我来说，我认为英语既无聊又难。以后再怎么努力，也学不好。

她是我父亲邀请我去度假的英语家教。因为我的英语很糟糕，所以我不得不补上以前的课程。开始上课的时候，她没有其他老师忙。反而是她先和我说的，可能是因为她从她父亲那里得知我是个怕老师的孩子。同时，潜意识里，我也抗拒老师，拒绝和老师交流。在和她的交流中，我发现不是每个老师都是高人一等的，不是每个老师都是凶狠的，不是每个老师都是封建的，旧思想都在他脑子里。我逐渐接受她为朋友。她教会了我什么是真正的导师。

她的教学方式也不同于其他老师。以前的老师都是临时抱佛脚，我几乎每天都头晕。她不是每天都讲很多知识，而是一遍又一遍地讲。当然不是盲目做的。她先根据知识点设置问题，然后找出我的错题，给我讲解，再把我的错题反映到另一个问题中，然后再纠正错误。背单词的时候，也是这么递进的。

她是一个长直发的女老师。因为累，她的头发没有那么黑。她从不化妆，衣着朴素大方，给人一种亲切的感觉。他性格温和幽默。她有时候会跟我说她在学校的学生：有的学习好，有的学习差，有的听话，有的调皮……但是不管她说什么样的学生，脸上的笑容还是灿烂的，这个灿烂代表了两个字：幸福。可能她很爱自己的工作，也很爱自己的学生，所以无论在教学中遇到什么困难，她总是面带微笑，让大家看到她的快乐。
