The Spring Festival is the most important traditional one in China. As an

important part of it, fireworks bring us happier atmosphere than usual. This

Spring Festival, Dad bought lots of fireworks as last year. On the eve, he

lighted them, and then they blossomed like flowers in the sky, with sweet sounds

and brilliant light. How beautiful! I was deeply moved, though every Spring

Festival I felt it. It brought me the beautiful feelings. At that moment I was

buried in the sea of happiness. And also it made me feel more about the

Meanwhile, I was worried about the fireworks. First, setting off

firecrackers made a tremendous noise and caused serious air pollution. Also

During the summerVacation, I think I should do something interesting and

meaningful rather than touring. So I found a job at a fast food restaurant and

worked there as a cleaner. I worked eight hours a day for three weeks. This job

was boring and seemed endless, which made me so tired that I nearly stopped it

half way. But, I stuck to it with determination. Every day I started to work

early in the morning and got home late in the evening. Finally, I finished the

job before the new school term. Now, I realize what labor means. I think it is

really a successful experience, which is worth remembering forever.

Some students study English by reading English magazines or newspapers, and

some of them are interested in watching English programs on TV. In my opinion,

every day, we should insist on reading the textbooks and learning words by

heart. Listening to English tapes and keeping diaries are very useful, too.

Singing English songs is also a good way for us to improve our oral

English. Whats more we should often speak English.
