Holidays in the United States and is most closely connected with the earliest

history of the country.

My Family

My name is Li Hua. I am from a workers family. There are six people in my

family. They are my grandfather, my grandmother, my father, my mother, my sister

and I.

Every member in my family works for his or her own trade①. My grandfather

and grandmother are peasants. They do farm work every day in my hometown. My

father is a senior engineer. He is now working in Africa, helping to build a

power station. My mother is a teacher. She teaches English in a middle school.

My sister, five years older than I, is a doctor in the Peoples Hospital of our

county. She loves her work and does it well. I am a middle school student. And I

am going to take this years college entrance examination. I wish that I could

be enrolled② by a famous university.

That is my family. All the members in my family live in harmony③. We love

On the fourth Thursday of November, Thanksgiving Day, I made an envelope on

我们来到了位于长治市黎城县的黄崖洞，这里的风景美丽极了，湖水清澈透明。

进入大门，看到两侧崖顶欲合，仰视如一线天，有“一夫当关，万夫莫开”之险。再往上走来到了高山公园，公园四周奇峰异石，真是美不胜收。

继续攀登，我们步入兵器库遗址，兵器库洞深72米，宽18米，高25米，这里曾经是著明的“黄崖洞保卫战”遗址。

黄崖洞真是一个进行青少年爱国主义教育及旅游的好地方。

我的课余生活丰富多彩，尤其是画画，让我的生活充满了快乐。

星期天的早上，妈妈把我送到了班。这堂课是水粉课，我准备了水粉笔、

调色盘、颜料、水桶、勾线笔、铅笔。老师来了，告诉我们，这堂课要画个蘑菇房子。接着，老师给我们奖了画水粉要注意调色均匀，不要加水。

开始画画了。我先用铅笔画了一遍，去让老师看一下可以勾线了。勾完线，蘑菇房子的形状就出来了。接着，我吧要用的颜料挤到调色盘里。我先把房子的烟囱涂成绿色，在涂得时候，我不小心把颜料涂到外面去了，老师用抹布给我擦了一下。老师说：“下次一定要小心。”我用湖蓝色和白色把天涂完了。在老师的指导下，我又涂了白云、房子、草地。终于把画画完了。看着自己画的充满色彩的画，我的心里非常高兴。

画画提高了我的学习兴趣，充实了我的生活。真是一件有趣的事情。

During the winter vacation, nothing is different for my life. i wake up 11 oclock am everyday, after a washing, i have a good lunch with my parents. next i play computer games till the time to have supper. after have dinner. i go on playing till 2 oclock am, and then go to sleep with tired. this is one dull day of my winter vacation.

今天早晨，我早早地起了床，我穿上衣服，跑到厨房里，看一看今天早上吃点什么。看了看，心想：我都长大了，应该帮妈妈做饭了。于是，我对妈妈说：“妈妈，我来帮你做饭吧!”妈妈说：

事情并不是很顺利，我在打鸡蛋时，由于用力过猛。蛋清弄的满手都是，我有些不知所措。妈妈鼓励我：“不要太着急，慢慢做。”我把手洗净，继续做着。我照着妈妈的吩咐，用牙签在蛋黄上戳

了许多小洞，并撒上一些盐，然后放在微波炉里，把火力旋转开关调到小火力，转了一分钟，热气腾腾的荷包蛋出炉了。它真是又好看又可口。

我吃着自己做的荷包蛋，心里美滋滋的，好像从来没吃过这样好吃的东西。

每当我看到自己胸前飘扬的红领巾，一股自豪感油然而生。新生入队仪式的情形又一次浮现在我的脑海里，久久难忘。

星期一，我们三年级接到消息，星期四，一年级入少先队，我们三年级哥哥姐姐要帮一年级弟弟妹妹戴红领巾。

星期四那天上午，阳光灿烂，我们全校师生聚集在操场上，共同见证一年级新队员的入队仪式。盼望已久的入队仪式终于开始了，亮出了大队旗，接着呼号、宣誓。我们三年级的哥哥姐姐为一年级的弟弟妹妹戴上鲜艳的红领巾时，大家的脸上洋溢着幸福的微笑。一年级终于光荣地加入少先队啦!

接下来一个一年级的小朋友代表新队员上台发言，他来到舞台上讲话。最后，在老师和同学们热烈的掌声中，他走下了台。

这让我想起我一年级加入少先队的时候：当天，我们列队在操场上，心里很焦急，心想：红领巾怎么还不挂在我的脖子上呀!我等呀等，终于等到仪式完毕后，哥哥姐姐们给我们带红领巾时，我高兴极了。姐姐给我系完红领巾之后，向我敬了一个队礼，我也学她的样子回了她一个队礼，她笑了，说：“小同学，红领巾是国旗的一角，是用革命烈士的鲜血染成的，你要好好地珍惜它，爱护它，懂吗?”我点了点头，她又绽开了笑脸。

我看了看那些已带上红领巾的小朋友们，他们正抚摸着胸前的红领巾。他们多喜欢红领巾呀! 为一年级弟弟妹妹们祝贺吧!祝贺他们好好学习天天向上。

站在队伍里，我暗下决心：一定要好好学习，天天向上，努力学本领，为班级和学校争光，为红领巾增添光彩。
