In Chinese lunar calendar, July 7th is a romantic day for the young people,

which is called Qixi Festival that is also referred to the Chinese Valentine’s

Day. This festival has been the tradition and many young people celebrate it in

their own way. What’s more, the government listed Qixi Festival as the

intangible cultural heritage.

The origin of Qixi Festival is about a romantic story. It was said that in

the ancient time, a beautiful young lady who was an immortal came to the men’s

world. She fell in love with an ordinary man. But there was limitation between

中秋节，是中国的传统节日之一。那天，人们都沉浸在与家人团圆的喜悦当中。这年的中秋节，我过得很愉快。

中秋节这天，街市上会有各种各样的月饼，但是我们家呢，是自己做月饼的哦!

早上，妈妈准备好了做月饼的材料，便忙碌了起来。我对这一窍不通，只能在旁边看着，偶尔跑跑腿什么的。妈妈做的月饼是新鲜的面和馅做成的，主馅是红糖，然后加上了点儿芝麻、果仁、花生仁和葡萄干等。做出来后，不管是蒸出来的还是烤出来的，只要一端到桌子上，立刻就会让人垂涎三尺!不仅如此，妈妈做的月饼还很漂亮，上面的图案就像雕刻家刻出来的一样。这次妈妈刻的是我最喜欢的桂花瓣的图案。月饼一部分是现在吃，一部分是留到晚上吃。我呢，已经迫不及待了，不等它慢慢冷下来，就像狼吞虎咽地吃起来，结果烫到嘴了，真是“心急吃不了热月饼”啊!

傍晚时候，爸爸从市场上买回来田螺，准备晚上煮来吃。首先，要清洗好田螺。我拿了一个洗菜的盆，把田螺倒进去，然后倒进足够的水，用刷子一个个认真地把田螺上的泥沙洗干净。洗好了之后，爸爸用钳子把田螺尾部的一小部分钳掉，我不明白的问爸爸：“爸，为什么要钳掉这东西啊?”爸爸回答说：“不钳掉就很难吸田螺肉出来的。”我恍然大悟地点点头。田螺的清洗工作彻底完成之后，妈妈就开始抄田螺了。首先，开煤气，点燃灶子，往锅里倒入适量的水，倒入田螺，先煮一煮，当水被煮得没剩多少时，倒入适量的油煸炒，然后依次倒入酱油、辣椒，再炒一会儿，一盘又香又辣的炒田螺就出锅了。

晚上，我们一家人一边吃晚饭一边看着电视。吃的菜便是炒田螺了。田螺不是很辣，用牙签弄出田螺肉，吮吸那美味的酱汁，多么惬意的晚餐。其他菜也很美味，其中那最简单的西红柿炒蛋就是我做的，虽然没有平时妈妈做的那么好吃，但我已经努力了。

晚饭后，我们吃了饭后水果——柚子，柚子是中秋节的必备品之一。“柚”与“佑”谐音，是希望月亮保佑的意思，另外，柚子是圆的，也是象征着团圆的意思啦!

they can not endure failure. When they meet failure, they will be seriously

dejected and can never pluck up their courage to try again. However, others

think it natural to meet failures in ones career. Therefore, they are

psychologically prepared. When they meet failures, they will not be frustrated.

Instead, they will continue to meet new challenges. As to me, Im in favor of

the latter view. Failure is really a terrible thing but it is also the mother of

success. If one draws lessons from failures, in most cases he will get success

in the future. Furthermore, ones life can never be smooth sailing; it must be

full of difficuhies and setbacks. If one is daunted by difficuhies and

frustrations, he will always be a failure. However, if one holds a positive

attitude toward failure, he will overcome difficulties and frustrations to win

victory.

《资治通鉴》是宋代史学家司马光和助手刘恕、范祖禹、司马康等人19年编纂而成的史学巨著，是我国第一部编年体通史，规模空前，全书共294卷约300多万字。其所记载的历史断限，上起周威烈王二十三年(前403年)，下迄后周显德六年959年，涵盖了1362年的历史。

我在读他时仿佛自己亲眼看到一个个历史事件。在历史故事中，我了解了古代人民是怎样学习、劳动、生活的，它们有许多困难是现代人民看不到，也克服不了的，在书中还有许多战争历史人物的记载，我最喜欢的是三国时期的孔明，他用了一生来辅助刘备，可最终还是鞠躬尽瘁，死而后已，还是未能实现统一，但他留下的《出师表》坚忠精神永远影响着后人。我还喜欢李时珍，因为他的《本草纲目》为现代医学做出了巨大的贡献。这些都是在教科书中看不到的知识，我们在科技发达的新时代下生活，养尊处优，尽享其成。想想古代人民，再想想我们，我们是“生在福中不知福”啊。爸爸说：“历史是开启人类智慧之门的钥匙”，文中先辈们坚强品质的事迹始终激励着我奋发图强。

《资治通鉴》是古代人民坚强不屈的形象浓缩，更是我成长过程中的指航灯……

I live very happily today! In the morning, it is very fine! Then I climb

the mountain with family, the air on the mountain is very fresh, the flowers

plants and trees on the mountain all seem extremely beautiful. Coming back home

in the evening, family and I sat and watched TV together, we are returning and

eating the fruit while chatting, the whole family is happy and harmonious!

今天我过得非常开心!在早上，天气非常好!然后，我爬上山与家人，山上的空气非常清新，山上的花草树木都显得格外美丽。回来晚上回家，我与家人坐在一起看电视，我们还吃着水果，一边聊天，全家其乐融融!
