终于放暑假了，可以尽情的玩一玩了。

这天，妈妈说要去丹尼斯买东西，还说让我骑着自己的自行车去，她骑着大自行车，我们两个一起去，我高兴的答应了。

我和妈妈骑着车子上路了。开始，我骑得很快，妈妈追不上我。过了一会儿，我骑得没劲儿了，速度变慢了，妈妈这才追上了我。妈妈对我说：“街上人太多，你要小心点儿，看着人，特别是过马路的时候，车特别多，要看红绿灯，否则你会撞车的!”妈妈让我跟着他走，以防万一。

到了一个三角形的路口，妈妈听了下来，下来推着车走。我紧跟在妈妈身后，丝毫不敢迟疑。可是，我还是没能跟紧妈妈，妈妈过了马路，可我还在马路中间呢!我左看右看，两边都来了车，这可怎么办呢?我急得向热锅上的蚂蚁——团团转。妈妈在对面对我喊：“站那儿别动，等边上的车走了再过来，别着急!”我在心里埋怨妈妈，两边的车还都离我远着呢!还不如让我先过去，还我等这么长时间。过了马路，我问妈妈：“妈妈，你为什么不让我先过去，而让我等车过去再过来呢?”妈妈对我说：“孩子，我们宁可等一分钟，也不抢这一秒啊!有多少人都是为了抢这一秒钟，而失去了宝贵的生命啊!”我想了想，妈妈说的话挺有道理。

In the future there will be computers in our homes. Computers will help us

to know a lot over the world. We will be able to talk by e-mail. Scientists will

make many robots. Robots can help us to do some cleaning, do some cooking or do

some washing. We can do some shopping and see a doctor without going out of our

The life in the future will be good. For this, we will study hard. I

My winter vocation Winter holidays are coming. I am going to get up very

It was the third day of our winter holiday. Today, there are many business in my mothers company. So my mother told me to help my uncle who is the manager of my mothers company. I have rested for a week. I began to feel bored. So I went out with my friends. They are my best friends in the middle school. We didn’t go to someplace special. We just saw the other. I am terribly sorry that I failed to arrive at BLCU last Friday. I hope that this did not mess you up completely, although I know that you had already made some special arrangements for my visit with you parents and friends. I am very sorry about all that. I am sure you will be sympathetic, however, when I tell you that my father is dangerously ill in hospital, and that I found it impossible to leave for the visit when he is in this state.

My father was working very hard on his project on protecting the environment. I know the project has come to a very important stage. He and his assistants did not take regular rest for three weeks. Last night, my father had a heart attack and was soon sent to the hospital. The doctor said my father was in a very serious situation, and, he might need an operation.

24 hours have passed. Nothing has changed. I have to stay at the hospital. I will let you know if there is any good news.

to face, people treat fail a bad thing. While for me, I think we can learn from

failure and be a better man.

Everyone is afraid of facing failure, because failure brings them the sense

of frustration. When facing failure, people choose to avoiding talking about it,

they feel that they will be looked down upon by others. Indeed, no one likes to

failure anything, they want to be successful all the time.

If people change their idea about failure, they can see the positive side.

There is an old saying that failure is the mother of success, which means that

people will learn from failure and make preparation for the success. So failure

is not that hard to face, if people take right attitude towards it, they will

gain success soon.

In a word, failure is not a bad something, it can bring success, only if

people treat it right.
