今天被评为三八红旗手--巾帼建功标兵，我感到十分的荣幸，也很高兴能站在这里给大家演讲，回顾我所走过的环保之路。

我叫田桂荣，今年53岁，是新乡县合河乡范岭村的一位普通农村妇女。几年来，在各级妇联和广大姐妹的帮助下，从普通的农村妇女成为中外媒体竞相报道的“民间环保大使”。特别是～年6月，我作为亿万农民姐妹的代表荣获了海内外有影响力的中国妇女时代人物称号。当我从全国中央委员、全国妇联主席顾秀莲大姐手里接过证书时，泪水一下子涌了出来。我的心情是多么的激动，因为我知道，我之所以能够拿奖，是因为在我的身后有数不清的姐妹在帮我。当时我就说，拿奖了，就好比是汽车到了加油站，在以后的日子里，我还要继续拼搏，为我们妇联姐妹增光添彩。

我是怎么回收废旧电池的

在一个偶然的机会里，我得知，一节一号电池烂在地里，能使一平方土地失去使用价值；一节纽扣电池能污染6万升水，相当于一个人一辈子的用水量。废电池中含锌、镉、汞等重金属，在这几种生物累积作用下，能引起人体贫血、肾损伤、肝癌等疾病，并对神经系统造成危害。

听到了一串精心触目的文字我震撼了。大家知道，我1912年开始生产电池，是生产电池的大国，消费电池的大国。新乡是生产电池的基地。在良心的驱使下我决定回收废旧电池。我用绿布制作了3000多面三角旗，写上地址、电话，制作多个回收箱发放给商店批发电池的客户，印制万份倡议书给大中院校发放，走街串巷以每节2分的价格回收电池，在我的实际行动影响下，有一位80岁的老干部骑自行车，送来8节废电池。三个月寒风刺骨的，总算没有白跑；一个浴池搓背的女工下夜班在大街上捡废电池1000多节送过来；后来感动大学生、市民长期给我送废电池。为了加大回收量，我还在大中学校和超市设立回收箱，就这样长期宣传，也遭到社会上一部分人的冷嘲热讽，有的说我挣钱多了想捞名；有的说我想申请吉尼斯；有的说我歪嘴吹喇叭—歪劲不小；还有当面说你要是死了就成英雄了。我听到或心里很不是滋味，我不死，我要为环保而活，活着就要当一个无名的环保英雄。

渐渐的收多了，收到20吨，家里放不下了。没有想到别的办法处理，这怎么办！老范吵我，多次吵我，我也不放过他，你在大队我支持你20年，你就不能支持我两三年，实在不行，分家也可以，要不就离婚。我想干的事情，非干个名堂不可。老范吵归吵，他还帮我收废电池。儿子更恨我了，说我着迷了，不能看我。我每天晚上回家很晚，跟作案差不多。在外面人家笑话我，到了家，家人不能理解。收的多了环保部门也说我集中污染，收多了成了污染源，电池没地方放了，我到山里和老伴找个山洞也不行。真难呀！到太行山痛哭一场，以前有孟姜女哭长城，现在有田桂荣哭废电池，自劝自己不哭泣。这真是上也上不去，下也下不来，真懂骑虎难下这个词的意思了，愁的时候想喝酒也明白了什么是借酒浇愁愁更愁……

这几年做好事真难呀！儿子婚礼推了四年了，湖南小商贩远道而来，想买走废电池，但他光要里面的金属，我说：你给我一万元我也不给你，你把污染的埋到地下，到时候又成了毛主席故乡的污染源了，电池处理不了，我死都不瞑目。最后在新华社、中央电视台的关注下，省环保局拉走了，可了了我的心病，儿子结婚了，感谢政府的关怀。

在收废电池的过程中，从良心来说，是给后代留一片净土，将来变废为宝，还推动了我国废电池无害处理技术向前发展；最主要的是增强了人的环保意识。直到现在，我还在继续坚持，我还一直在大中院校宣传，让学生用环保电池、可充电池，不乱仍电池。

我是怎么建立环保网站的

为了利用现代化的宣传工具，2001年9月12日，网站开通了。自己对电脑一窍不通，边学边指导，我也可以在网上学到很多知识。经过三次该版，我的目标是在三年以后，成为全国最大的绿色网站，占领绿色空间。在网上我可以向全世界进行环保交流。许多记者都是在网上看到事迹后慕名来采访的，这更是“三个代表”重要思想的先进文化表现之一。我这个农村妇女经过几年自学电脑走上大学讲台进行演讲，向大中小学生讲授环保知识。

我是怎么建立环保协会的

2000年获得国际大奖之后，我清醒的看到一个人的力量太小，要想在民间环保领域有一番作为，就必须创办环保组织。于是奔波了200多天，费尽心血，创办了全国首家农民创办的环保组织。当时，河师大席国喜教授说：“成立协会难，成起来更难”。我不相信，我咬着呀想，中国只要有环保组织存在，我就要去拼搏，去争取。

我为了成立协会，跑到北京到梁从诫那去经，光往主管部门跑了100多趟，有时候几趟都没有收获。我记得有有一次，一个；领导说，你收的电池没法处理，收旧电池你没有办证，还想成立环保协会，说了我一大堆难吃难咽的话！我听了后，泪往肚里流。从主管部门出来，我本想找个没人的地方哭上一场，可是哭也没时间哭，自己劝自己不学孟姜女，要学花木兰！

我是一个农家妇女，在城里没有一点背景，最后跑到省环保局去咨询，省高主任说：“别跑了，找你那主管环保的市长”。我回来以后就找市长，市领导做了批示，主管部门也批下来了。

在政府、环保局和各界人士的帮助支持下，2002年5月12日，我的环保协会终于成立了，成立的那一天，搞的很隆重，我在上面讲话时，大河报记者刘新萍发现老范在一个小角落里擦泪，只有他是最了解我的。

环保协会向前发展困难比较大，资金没有。但我认为协会的成立，好像是万里长城走完了第一步，在艰难也要心甘情愿长期走下去……明知征途有艰难，越是艰难越向前！

环保协会不断发展壮大，在协会共同努力下，～年12月份，环保协会获得了全国环保生态大奖。

我是怎样保护母亲河的

从2000年，每遇暑假，我自费组织大学生考察生态，宣传环保，没有资金就徒步行走，克服种种困难，有时候想不到困难就会发生。有一年顺着黑水卫河步行，昏倒在路，大学生和我脚都磨成了泡，为了考察河流，即使累死在河边也心甘情愿。保卫母亲河活动受到上至党中央、团中央赞扬，下到市领导连书记的赞扬和大力支持，年底还获得团中央生态建设大奖。

通过这几年点点滴滴，一步一步走向了人民大会堂领奖台！多次和团中央在一起交流，我心里是多么激动！领奖杯时，我是这样想，我是代表所有支持的人去领奖的。但是成绩只能代表过去，我今后还得拼搏。有的说“我是骑虎难下了”。在座的姐妹，我就是不下了，为了环保事业，我不是女娲，要带领更多的人去补天；我虽不是大禹，大学大禹的精神来治污。大家说卫河的水清不清，新乡美不美，美！为了新乡天更蓝，水更清，为了创建优秀旅游城市，发展经济的同时，我们既要金山银山，更要绿水青山。大家要记住，保护环境，就是保护我们自己。

姐妹们！同志们！谁说女子不如男，在座的都是花木兰！姐妹们，让我们用崇高的理想激励自己，用昂扬斗志鼓舞自己，用积极乐观的心态用心去做事情，用自己的实际行动唤醒人们的环保意识。希望广大妇女姐妹用双手建设美好的家园，让我们在不同的岗位上拼搏吧！

My grandparents believed you were either honest or you werent. There was

no in between. They had a simple motto hanging on their living-room wall: "Life

is like a field of newly fallen snow; where I choose to walk every step will

show. "They didnt have to talk about it--they demonstratedthe motto by the way

they lived. They understood instinctively that integrity means having a personal

standard of morality and ethics that does not sell out to expediency and that is

not relative to the situation at hand. Integrity is an inner standard for

judging your behavior.Unfortunately, integrity is in short supply today--and

getting scarcer. But it is the real bottom line in every area of society.And it

is something we must demand of ourselves.

A good test for this value is to look at what I call the Integrity Trial,

which consists of three key principles: Stand firmly for your convictions in the

face of personal pressure.

When you know youre right, you cant back down. Always give others credit

that is rightfully theirs. Dont be afraid of those who might have a better idea

or who might even be smarter than you are. Be honest and open about who you

really are. People who lack genuine core values rely on external factors--their

looks or status---in order to feel good about themselves. Inevitably they will

do everything they can to preserve this facade,but they will do very little to

develop their inner value and personal growth.

So be yourself. Dont engage in a personal cover-up of areas that are

unpleasing in your life. When its tough, do it tough. In other words, face

reality and be adult in your responses to lifes challenges.

Self-respect and a clear conscience are powerful components of integrity

and are the basis for enriching your relationships with others.

Integrity means you do what you do because its right and not just

fashionable or politically correct. A life of principle, of not succumbing to

the seductive sirens of an easy morality,will always win the day. My

grandparents taught me that.

母亲节-Mothers Day

可是，到达目的地，我看见的不是苍蝇满天飞、垃圾成堆，只见碧山环绕的中心有一栋3层的房子，房子前面有许多不同颜色的小房子：长方形的SBR(序列间歇式活性污泥法的简称)反应池，方形的观察池，柱形的气体储藏室，污泥浓缩池……这就是垃圾处理站吗?怎么一点儿垃圾也没有?

为了解开大家的疑团，解说员叔叔带我们向山上走去。走着走着，我感觉越来越臭。我捂着鼻子瞧瞧四周，右边的一座山已被挖去一半，黄土与巨大的石头露出狰狞的面孔，好似随时都会塌下来。斜斜的山坡左边修了一条似滑梯一样的水泥坡，大概0.5米宽，这是为了防止雨水过度沉积而造成山壁坍塌。前方有成千上万的垃圾，毫不夸张地说，放垃圾的这块地至少有我们学校的四五个操场那么大，我们的操场能盛下1000多人呢!

解说员叔叔说，每天宁乡县城的生活垃圾有二三百吨，这么多的垃圾会产生不少细菌，堆放在人们生活的城市里显然不合适，所以垃圾场就得建在山中。垃圾运过来后，工人们便把垃圾里的水分压干，把不可回收的垃圾在这个填埋场压实、铺土，再挤紧。甚至连我们走的水泥地下也全是垃圾。叔叔还说：“这片空旷的山洼30年后将会被填平。”

望着这辽阔无边的青山，我愣了，心想：如果世界上所有的山都被填完，那垃圾不就得送到太空去了?当然，这只是我幼稚的想法，但最终将垃圾放到哪里去呢?

随后，叔叔又带我们来到了一个池塘，水面上漂浮着一层黄色的脏东西。这个碗形的大池塘的容积是3万立方米，里面的水是从垃圾里挤出的脏水。这里的任何一个人都希望天天是晴天，因为雨天里面的水会溢出来。

不久，我们坐上了回学校的车，在车上，我陷入了思考……

One possible solution is to design and develop clean cars and clean fuels. “爸、妈，手机电充好了吧？”看着躺在沙发上的两部手机，我问道。昨天早晨，我看到它们就在那里了，没想到一天过后，他们仍在原来的位置。要知道，充完电及时拔下插头，也是低碳的表现呢！“嗯，应该早就充好了，都忘掉了。”妈妈回答道。“就是，你要不说我都忘了”爸爸也接上话。看着爸爸妈妈漫不经心的表情，想想平时都是他们教训我，今天我也抓住一次当老大的机会，说道：“现在流行低碳。你们知不知道？充电器不用时拔下插头，一年可以少排放好多二氧化碳呢！”于是，我就给他们讲了讲有关这方面的知识。我看到，爸爸妈妈的表情，从一开始的漫不经心，到后来惊奇不已。最后，爸爸感慨道，：“原来我们生活中的小事，竟然可以节约这么多啊！”妈妈也说道，：“就是，以前很多东西都不注意，本以为没什么，想不到浪费了这么多东西！”我趁机说道：“那我们一起低碳吧。反正也不困难！”爸爸妈妈都欣然同意。于是我们家开始低碳。

众人的乐章

虽然全家低碳活动轰轰烈烈地展开了，可我还是不满意，我还想让的人加入低碳的行列。

经过一番商议，我们全家决定，在周末时间参加社区举办的活动。这一周是植树，那一周是捡白色垃圾，这次是宣传，那次是实践……我们一家每周都会去参加，号召大家一起加入到低碳的行列中来。我相信，只要地球上60亿人一起努力，那么温室效应一定会远离地球，太平洋的水就一定不会被“烧开”。

[以环保为主题作文:开展低碳生活“三部曲”

里面丢满了垃圾!站在回收箱前的我拿着废电池的右手定格，心里止不住惊呼。难以想象，垃圾箱明明就在不远处，是人们懒惰还是将所有垃圾混为一谈?但显然，大家的环保意识还不足以强烈到能驱使自己严格按照环保理念行事。 is full of garbage! 在强调可持续发展的今天，环保已经不仅仅是一种态度，更是一种我们必须肩扛的责任!

只有肩担起环保的责任，资源匮乏的问题才会得到有效的控制。要从根本上解决能源问题，除了寻找合适的新能源，节能环保是关键的也是最直接有效的解决措施。电视的亮度适当调低，使用节能日光灯，房屋使用保温材料等等一系列看似细小的事情就在帮助地球减压。

不要怀疑自己的能力微薄，不积小流无以致江海，我们一点点的累积使得那些可贵的资源延长了使用寿命，是在为全人类造福!资源本身是丰富的，只是我们轻浮的态度才有意的缩小了资源的容量，若我们能注重环保，相信资源的问题就能够迎刃而解。

只有肩担起环保的责任，生物物种的失调和灭绝才会日趋平衡。重金属的倾倒使得河域的鱼类中毒死亡，食物链的破坏难道还没给我们敲响警钟吗?

科学家预计，未来50年，地球陆地四分之一的动植物将遭到灭顶之灾。可怕的数据映射这血淋淋的现实，这一次的物种灭绝并不是自然而为，我们人类才是祸首。环保是在为这些生物创造一个干净自由的生活环境，与我们一起共享这世界的呼吸。当在广场上喂和平鸽时，你能真切清晰地听到从你手心传来的和你的同频率的心跳，又如何忍心让乱扔的塑料袋来威胁他们的生命呢?

只有肩担起环保的责任，人与自然才能做到真正意义上的和谐。对于自然不该是怀着敬畏的心情，而是平起平坐的相处。我们对自然负责，注重它的持久繁荣，那么相信他也会馈赠给我们丰饶的财富。如此坦诚相待的状态，有人感叹说这是我们所向往的。不，我们不能只以此为一种向往，我们就应该脚踏实地地做到这一点。人与自然的和谐是个大话题，但我们可以养成小习惯：平时将垃圾分类就能大幅度减少成堆垃圾对大地的污染。和谐并不是遥不可及的，只要我们扛起责任，就一定能够实现这一美好的目标。

西方有一句谚语：“逝者如渡渡。”我们不能等一切都消逝后，才有如失去渡渡鸟般的悲凉。环保不是一句简单的口号，要时时刻刻放在心里，相信也期待着，肩担着环保责任的我们，定能创造绿色家园!

活动背景：目前全球气候变暖的危机日益迫近。3月全球气温创历史新高，由于地球变暖，导致气候无常，大地灾难频发。中国西南旱灾再一次唤醒了人们对日益恶化的环境问题的忧患意识。而国人生活中的“面子消费”、“重复消费”、“便利消费”导致过量的碳排放，也是我们应该关注和警惕的。今年地球日的主题是“珍惜地球资源，转变发展方式，倡导低碳生活” 。在这样的背景下，本人设计了此活动。活动目的：1、通过活动，宣传环保理念，提高学生对环境保护重要性的认识，增强学生的环保意识、低碳意识。2、使学生知道如何从生活点滴做起，走进低碳新生活，为节能减排，环境保护贡献力量。活动形式:主题班会课参加对象：班级学生活动准备：1、搜集相关的图片资料和视频资料2、学生查阅相关资料，初步了解“低碳生活”的含义

教师：在2010年4月22日即第41个世界地球日即将来临之际，国土资源部确定中国今年的地球日主题为“珍惜地球资源，转变发展方式，倡导低碳生活”。 今年“世界文秘杂烩网地球日”的宣传主题特别把“倡导低碳生活”作为重要内容，旨在唤起rrrwm.com全民的“低碳生活”意识，共同为珍惜地球资源和保护地球家园而自觉行动起来。2、何谓“低碳生活”

三、觉醒教师：1992年，科学家关怀社会联盟的1700位世界顶尖科学家包括大多数诺贝尔科学奖得主，就已经在大声呼吁世界各国联手迅速遏制全球暖化。拯救地球，已成为各国人民的共识。1、播放视频：地球一小时经典记录

教师：地球一小时(Earth Hour)是世界自然基金会(WWF)应对全球气候变化所提出的一项倡议，希望个人、社区、企业和政府在每年3月最后一个星期六20：30-21：30熄灯一小时，来表明他们对应对气候变化行动的支持。WWF今年还在中国延伸发起了“低碳生活周”活动，每天将提出一项节能减排目标，包括节约1升水、节省10张纸、减少塑料袋使用等。

2、共同打造“低碳世博”

“低碳世博”知多少：学生在预习的基础上，通过查找有关资料，搜集，列举世博会上的有关低碳方面的做法

教师：在世博活动场地和舞美方面，“低碳环保”的科技亮点处处闪现。(如：重要活动场地，是利用老厂房进行改造而成，大规模使用LED节能灯光，对音响的分贝级也有一定的限制。鼓励符合环保理念的新能源、新工艺、新材料的广泛使用。部分场地安置环保坐椅，坚持“一次投入，多次使用”的可循环原则。力求在保证效果的基础上，从设施到细节都突出“低碳”的理念。)四、行动

教师：过量二氧化碳排放导致的气候变化目前已经极大地威胁到地球上人类的生存。在我们的日常生活中，我们能为遏制全球气候变暖，减少碳排放做哪些力所能及的事情呢?

1、让学生展示自己动手制作的体现低碳意义的小物品(废物利用)，交流“低碳达人”们低碳时尚。

2、多媒体展示：节能就是最大的减碳(学生朗读)

3、低碳生活，我倡议

教师：减碳是我们每个地球人的责任。“千里之行，始于足下”，低碳生活离我们并不遥远，随时随地我们每个人都能成为环保的“低碳人”。

低碳生活，我倡议：

①使用太阳能热水器，使用节能灯泡

②少开私家车，多搭乘公共汽车或地铁，短程步行或骑自行车

③出门购物，自己带环保袋，无论是免费或者收费的塑料袋，都减少使用

④多用永久性的筷子、饭盒，尽量避免使用一次性的餐具，吃不完打包不浪费

⑤养成随手关闭电器电源的习惯，避免浪费用电。

⑥在着装方面，不穿野生动物毛皮制作的服装，购买棉质衣服，少买或不买化纤产品

⑦在用餐方面，多吃素、少吃荤。(少吃荤的结果是减少家禽家畜的饲养量从而降低二氧化碳排放)

⑧尽量做到不购买包装繁杂的食品

五、课堂总结：

人们在生活和消费过程中的过量碳排放，是造成全球气候变暖的重要因素之一。气候变化与我们每个人都息息相关的。“不积小流，无以成江海”，让我们从改变自己的生活细节做起，成为“低碳达人”， 保护我们这个赖以生存的地球家园，让人类可以尽情享受大自然赋予我们的幸福!六、教学反思：

通过本活动，提高了学生对环境保护重要性的认识，增强了学生的环保意识、低碳意识和保护环境从我做起的责任感。学生懂得了低碳生活应该从衣、食、住、用、行这些点滴做起，将遏制全球气候变暖，减少碳排放实实在在地带入日常生活。 活动中，本人充分利用多媒体设备辅助教学，渲染课堂气氛，触动了学生的情感，增强了活动效果。活动后学生能将低碳生活付诸实践，如教室中开“白日灯”的现象不见了,主动带杯子灌水喝的学生多了,能节约用纸的学生较以前多了，甚至有的学生会主动建议父母或邻居不要使用一次性筷子和塑料袋。可见这次的活动深刻的影响了同学们。 不足之处是，教师对活动前学生的准备工作辅导不够，部分学生在活动之前没有了解相关的内容或搜集相关材料，没有完成活动前的准备工作,对低碳生活的新理念还很陌生。因此在活动中，同学们有较高的活动热情，但是回答问题的质量并不理想，需要教师的大量引导，所以在时间上略超出预定，但我想能让学生感受到本活动的意义，能真正的有所觉醒和改善，这就足够了。
