The Spring Festival, the most jubilant and important festival in China, is observed by most Chinese people at home and abroad. Our hometown is not an exception.

Similar with other places in china, we prepare for the festival about half a month before. With the lunar New Year approaching, the red lanterns are hung up along the main streets, making the ancient town filled with the festival atmosphere. While people clean up their houses, decorate it with traditional decorations such as Chinese knots and paper cutting. Each family pastes up Spring Festival couplets to convey their best wishes for the coming year.

On the New Year’s Eve, the whole family sits around, having a

sumptuous feast of reunion. It is worth mentioning that the food we have called maiyouzhi is unique. There is a flat piece of wheat sheet covering various vegetable and meat then rolling them up. What a delicious it is! After dinner, the family always watches the Spring Festival Gala Evening, and sets up fireworks to watch in the New Year.

On the first day of the New Year, people pay visits to the relatives and friends to send New Year’s greetings to each other and wish everything smoothly in the new year. The kids can get a lot of lucky money from the elders.

During the whole holiday, there are varied activities in the town such as lion and dragon dance, and all the citizens enjoy them very much.

My College Life

How time flies! I have been in Zhejiang Gongshang University for a semester. In retrospect, my college life is busy but colorful. Different from my senior high school’s life, the whole new life I led is much freer. I arranged my time,

becoming the master of myself.

First of all, study is still the core of my life. I major in Japanese which is both interesting and challenging. We are required to be accomplished in listening, speaking, reading, writing and translating. As a result I had to spend most of time in improving my abilities. Besides of the regular courses, I often attended the lecture and went to the library to eich my knowledge, and I do benefit from what I learnt.

As to the after school life, what I consider most meaningful is joining the YVP to serve society. I think it is the responsibility for every university student to make contribution to the community. Little as my effort is, I tried my best to help the people around us. Once the YVP organized us to sell secondhand books and raise the money to help the people indeed.

In addition, I quite enjoy the travels and the bees. Travels let me experience the sunshine, fresh air as well as the special taste of the local customs and practices. While the bees keep the friendship shining, and friends are as if family members. Both of them lit up my life.

All in all, the college life is a journey, and I have long way to go; all the memory is the most precious treasure, and I will value every moment.

The university is not only free but and learning both the field, it is the most wonderful life of an experience, and how to make their college life more colorful and gorgeous, it requires us to have a good, comprehensive and scientific planning of their college career. In my understanding, if we refer to an ideal University life as a formal western dinner, then a high GPA, that is, Grade Point Average, should be the main course, while an active part in activities, together with associations, means the appetizer. Some romances, of course, play the role as desserts. They are the 3 key elements for an ideal University life.

Those, however, are not what University life is all about. As we all know, University is wildly different from middle school. Nowadays, with the development of technology, the market competition is

fierce and people feel great pressure. In order to improve the working

efficiency, they force themselves to work overtime. However, they are not

machine and need to slow down life pace, or they will break down sooner or

later.

We cant slow down the working hour, but we can control our private time. A

lot of young people mix with working time and private time, so they cant enjoy

their life and feel depressed all the time. The smart person will find the

balance. They will put aside the working stuff when the clock tells them that it

is time to be off work and find the way to release their pressure, such as

KTV.

Spending the time with friends and families is always a good way to enjoy

our time. No matter what kind of difficulties we face, when we recall of these

happy moments, we will have motivation to move on. We cant choose everything we

此时，中国早已成了世界上科技最发达的国家之一，各种高科技的新型建筑取代了传统房屋。国内的建筑，都是用一种新开发的纳米材料建成的。这种新材料十分坚固，不怕日晒雨淋，能抵御十二级地震和十二级台风，而且十分轻便，易折叠。如果要搬家，只要把房子拆分折叠起来，直接放在小型卡车上就可以运走，到了新的地方再进行组装。房子的墙面可以根据主人的心情改变颜色，并且具备调温功能，再也不用空调了，节约了能源。饭店、宾馆等公共场所就更高级了，如果你想一边观赏海底风光一边用餐，可以去水下餐厅，那可是用全透明材质建造而成的，如果你想在高空俯瞰大地，可以搭乘简易飞行器，去悬浮在空中天空宾馆

想到这里，我不禁对叙利亚人民充满了同情，真想赶快帮助他们重建一个美好家园啊!我和科研团队的伙伴们一起开工了。我用电脑制图软件绘制好一栋大楼的外形，然后电脑进行自动测算，为了让大楼设计更合理方便，我不断地进行测算修改。团队的伙伴们也热火朝天地投入了工作，有的进行地形勘探，有的指挥机器人清理废墟，还有的进行空气净化，消除空气中的烟尘和有毒物质机器人们在我的指挥下按图纸有条不紊地工作着，将3D打印出来的一块块建筑材料进行拼装

一个月以后，我们用最先进的建筑材料和施工技术，造好了三栋五十层的大楼。为了不让居民们再遭受战争之苦，我们特别加固了外墙，使它可以承受炮火的袭击，在必要时刻，大楼还可以拆分成许多小飞船，帮助居民迅速撤离。我看着宏伟的大楼叹了口气：“唉，希望叙利亚人民永远不要用上这些功能!”我转念又想，现在中国的维和部队来到了这里，相信凭借祖国强大的实力，一定能帮助叙利亚重建一个美好的国家。

坐在回国的飞机上，我思绪万千，一定要研究出更好的建筑材料，建造出更安全美观的房屋，让大家都能安居乐业。将来我要带着自己新的研究成果，去帮助更多的落后国家，让中国成为全世界人民的好朋友!

人们常说：“诚信是金”。可是，我认为诚信比金钱还要重要。一个人如果失信了，失去的就不仅仅是金钱，而是一切!诚信，这关系着一个人的生活、学习、工作……一个人如果失去了诚信，将在社会上没有立足之地。

我听过这样一个故事：秦末有个叫季布的人，一向说话算数，信誉非常高，许多人都同他建立起了浓厚的友情。当时甚至流传着这样的谚语：“得黄金百斤，不如得季布一诺。”后来，他得罪了汉高祖刘邦，被悬赏捉拿。结果他的旧日的朋友不仅不被重金所惑，而且冒着灭九族的危险来保护他，缍使他免遭祸殃。一个人诚实有信，自然得道多助，能获得大家的尊重和友谊。

在我的生活里，我也经常面临着道德的抉择。

记得在一次数学考试中，我考了一个100分，这可真让我欣喜若狂，高兴地一蹦三尺高。可当试卷发下来的时候，我突然发现我有一道口算题算错了，但老师并没有给我打叉。我愣住了，是跟老师说，还是不说。我心里七上八下，犹豫不决。如果跟老师讲了，我就没有100分了，只有99分了;但是如果不跟老师说，我心里又不踏实，如果被人发现了，也会被人说我不诚实。最后，我还是在下课的时候跟老师讲了，老师表扬我：“你很诚实，很好!”老师还教导我：“诚信是每个人最基本的道德品质，一个人如果没有了诚信，那他在这个社会上只能一事无成。”那时，我觉得自己是一个诚实的人，感到特别地自豪，特别的开心。

孔子说：“人而无信，不知其可也”。诚信是中华民族的传统美德，为人处事的最基本准则，有了诚信，生活就更芬芳，有了诚信，生活就更加精彩!

八月的一天，我踏进了中学的校园，成为了一名初中生，从开学到现在我也经历了许多事，有了不同的感受。

开学第一天我抚摸着崭新的书，心里十分忐忑，怎么办啊？初中老师的讲课方式与小学大有不同我会不会跟不上，学习会不会下降。老师会不会不喜欢我。我心里非常紧张，生怕自己学习不好，上不了高中。

慢慢地，我体会到了班级带给我的温暖，你就是李娜同学吧，我邻座的一位女生问我：“你是李娜吗？”“你是？”“我是马新雨，你也住绿茵小区啊！”“是啊！”很快和初中同学成了朋友。不久之后的心理课上，通过老师做的几个小游戏，我又认识了很多同学，这些同学很热心，那我有困难的时候。他们会及时伸出援助之手；当我不开心的时候，他们会想尽方法把我逗乐。在初一四班这个大家庭里，我感受到了前所未有的温暖。

每次上完课老师都会留下一大堆问题，其中必定有我不会。的只能问问同学们了，你问同学，大家都来帮我讲解题目，我很高兴。英语课上。老师经常会让同桌练习对话，我同桌是学霸，而我英语不好，我生怕我会拖他后腿，但他却一遍一遍的教我，还鼓励我举手，下课后我们也经常练习英语的音标和句子。很快，我喜欢上了英语，这多亏同学们的友好。

“喂，等等我！”我跑向操场，随着做操音乐的响起，我站在阳光下，草地上。和煦的阳光照在我脸上，照在我心里。不觉暖洋洋的。

我的新校园，我的新生活，我用心感受！

In my opinion, the schoolwork now being assigned to high school students is too heavy. while it is true that students need to study, they need other things as well if they are to grow into healthy and well-rounded adults. high should be allowed more time for play. plying is not wasting time, as some think. it gives them physical exercise, and also exercise their imagination. which tends to be stifled by too much study.

Finally, the pressure put on high school students by excessive schoolwork can cause serious stress, which is unhealthy physically and mentally. i do not advocate the elimination of schoolwork. i do think, however, that a reduction of the current heavy load would be beneficial to students and to the society as a whole.

每当早晨一迈进校门，就会听到一阵朗朗的读书声，为校园的`一天拉开了序幕。听那朗读的一字一句，有中文的，也有English的，抑扬顿挫。

在校园里，我们早晨读书，锻炼身体，有时还参加一些文娱活动。体育课上，我们会在操场里打篮球或踢足球。

校园生活有时侯也是苦的，比药还苦。有一次上语文课的时候，老师提了一个很简单的问题让我们回答。因为我不经常举手，所以老师点到了我。本来我早就想好了怎么回答，可是一站起来就不知道是什么原因，话到嘴边变得结结巴巴，而且只有一两句话。我心里知道，老师肯定很生气，后果很严重！其实，我并不是没有思考老师提出来的问题，而是因为明明想好了就是不敢举手回答；还有时候想啊想，终于想出答案了，老师又提出了另外一个问题。

校园生活还有是辣的，比辣椒还辣。常叫我愤怒。事情是这样的：有一次，我发烧第二天才来上学，刚做到我的位置上，后面的同学说我的抽屉里有我同桌的书。我想她自己有抽屉凭什么把书放到我的抽屉里。我二话不说就把她的书扔到了他的凳子下面。

暑假里的趣事一件件一桩桩，就像星星一样数也数不清，但在我脑海中最深刻的趣事，那就是我和爸爸、妈妈一齐去游泳。

那天是星期天，我爸爸不上班。吃完午饭，我正准备睡午觉。突然，妈妈推荐说：“太热了，我们去游泳吧!”我和爸爸异口同声地说：“好阿!”说去就去，我们收拾了东西，拿着泳衣和泳圈从家出发了。一路上，我好兴奋呀!

一会儿的功夫，我们一家人就来到了游泳馆。哇!来游泳的人好多阿!大家在水中摆着各种各样的姿势：有的像小鱼儿一样摇头摆尾的游来游去，好自在阿;有的套着五颜六色的游泳圈在水里尽情的漂浮着，好美阿……你看，那边有个哥哥游得好精彩呐，一会像潜水艇驶入水底，一会像青蛙浮在水面，哈哈~~游技太高了，我是又敬佩又羡慕!“儿子~快下水阿!”爸爸已经下水催我啦!

我还不会游哦，套上游泳圈在爸爸妈妈的带领下驶入了水中。好舒服阿~水温正好适合，太爽了!但是，不会游泳有点小小遗憾，但是没关系。我早就‘偷偷地’在网上学了一些游泳的技巧，因为妈妈想给我暑假报游泳班，我不同意。不是我想偷懒，是我想自学成才哦!这天，我只练练呼吸、漂浮、蹬腿这些动作就能够了。在爸爸的帮忙与指导下，我找到了一点点窍门。按爸爸教我的方法结合网上看到的去做，谁知第一次唤气就喝了一大口水，我没有灰心，还在继续练着。奇迹最后出现了，我能够在水里不用游泳圈，在爸爸的看护下向前游一点点了，但游得不够爽。最后，我还是套上游泳圈在水里‘大闹’了一会儿，好好的过了一把“大闹天宫”瘾。我在水里“游”得不亦乐乎，玩得好开心呀!游泳真是太搞笑了。

时间过得好快阿!不知不觉就到吃晚饭时间了，我和爸爸、妈妈依依不舍的离开了游泳馆。在回家的路上，妈妈说我表现好，奖励我三天以后再去游泳，继续自学游泳。我自信地说：“爸爸、妈妈我必须要学会游泳。”我还用了一句刚学到的精华句“世上无难事，只怕有心人”。爸爸妈妈夸我说话水平高了，我们一家人嘻嘻~哈哈~有说有笑，走在回家的路上。
