In my understanding, if we refer to an ideal college life as a formal western dinner, then a high GPA, that is, Grade Point Average, should be the main course, while an active part in

activities, together with associations, means the appetizer. Some romances, of course, play the role as desserts. They are the 3 key elements for an ideal college life.

Those, however, are not what college life is all about. As we all know, college is wildly different from middle school. 一方面，数学经常会让人感到自己很笨，有时候甚至会让自己很生气，很恼火。因为多数人都感觉它很枯燥难懂，并且很难寻找对数学的兴趣。而另一方面，数学又变成一个有趣的东西，它甚至成为了我们日常生活中的一部分。

我常常有这样一个问题：为什么数学如此枯燥，却仍是有那么多的同学如此热爱它？带着这个问题，我找了一些热爱数学的同学。在他们眼里，数学是这样的：有趣，它将我们生活中的很多东西数字化，通过逻辑推理，给出答案，让我们的生活变得更加简单，方便。同时，数学的严谨同样也吸引了他们。因为，他们认为在数学的世界里，黑就是黑，白就是白，没有处于黑与白之间的灰色地带。数学淳朴，可爱，单纯，它绝不含一丝杂质。

角度不同，看法便有不同。有一千个读者就有一千个哈姆雷特。事实上，数学本身就很有趣，它能成为我们日常生活中的一部分。

我曾在初中时学过一些简单的一元一次函数，而就在最近我又对一元一次函数进行了更深一步的研究学习。

在我学习一元一次函数的过程中，我渐渐发现，一元一次函数在我们的日常生活中应用十分广泛。如当我们在社会上进行消费活动时候，若果其中涉及到变量的线性依存关系，我们就可以通过利用一元一次函数来解决问题。

社会生活之中，当我们出外旅游选择酒店下榻，当我们去步行街或者超市购物时，细心的人都会留意到一点：商家为了达到宣传、促销等其他不为人知的目的时，通常都会为作为消费者的我们提供两种或两种以上的付款方式或优惠方法。通俗来说，就是为我们提供套餐、打折优惠之类的服务。

恰恰每当这时，很多人都仅仅看到了宣传单上诱人的“省钱”方法，却忽略了如何取舍才是最为关键。在这时我们就真的应该三思而后行，发掘自己头脑中的数学知识，做出明智的选择。俗话说得好：“买的没有卖的精。”我们绝对不可以随意听信销售人员“甜蜜”的话语，也决不可盲目跟从，以免上了商家设的局，吃了大亏。

因为我是学校茶文化社的社员，所以每次茶文化社的出外活动我大多都会跟着一块出去。一次，是社团里的师兄师姐们出外比赛，我便跟随着他们一同外出。比赛的场地是在一个名为“茶都”的地方。

趁着空闲的时间，我便拉着一位好朋友一起在那四周围瞎逛。忽然，我们的眼球被一块醒目的告示牌吸引住了。那块告示牌上写着：购买盖碗、品茗杯有优惠。优惠方式也有两种，一种是买一送一，既是买一个盖碗送一只品茗杯；另一种则是打九折。但是最让我感到诧异的是要想享受这两种之一的优惠方式还有一个前提条件：购买盖碗3个以上（盖碗20元一个，茶杯5元一个）。当时我就愣住了，这两种方法有区别吗？应该是有区别的，但是两者相比到底哪一种更便宜呢？带着这个问题，我便马上把这个有趣的数学现象用手机拍了下来。

回到家后，为了解开我心中的这个结，我翻阅了初中还有现在的数学书。那就像是灵机一动，我联想到了函数关系式，然后就间接地想到了我最近所学的一元一次函数。

我首先设某人买品茗杯x只，付款y元，当然这其中还有一个隐含条件就是（x>3且x∈N）。则：

第一种方式付款便是y1=4*20+(x—4)*5=5x+60

用第二钟方式付款便是y2=(20*4+5x)*0.9=4.5x+72

接着就来比较y1和y2的相对大小：

设c=y1—y2=5x+60—(4.5x+72)=0.5x—12

然后就要展开讨论：

当c大于0时，0.5x—12大于0，即x大于24

当c等于0时，x等于24

当c小于0时，x小于24

综上所述，当所购买的品茗杯多于24只的时候，第二种方法更优惠；刚好购买24只的时候，两种方法价格相等；当购买的杯子数量在4到23之间的时候，第一种方法更优惠。

由此可见，用一元一次函数来看待购物，不但节省了钱财，还锻炼了我的数学思维，真可谓是一举两得啊！

我们作为新世纪的中学生，我们同时也是即将踏入社会的学生，我们学习数学不能仅仅只停留在课堂上，书本上，更多的是学会在生活中发现数学，并尝试着利用数学去解决问题。

目前，我们生存在一个已经被严重污染的环境里：花儿不再微笑，死气沉沉地低着头;大树不再乐呵呵了，而是一副沮丧的样子;小鱼因河水被污染而在河面漂着……看到这样的景象你会有何感受呢? 朋友们，连大自然中的万物都在责怪我们----没有做好环境的主人，让它们濒临死亡，就连地球妈妈也伤痕累累，我们还能袖手旁观吗?如果再这样下去，早晚有一天，地球有可能在宇宙中消失，人类就要灭绝。朋友们，为了我们能拥有美好的明天，就让我们从现在开始，一起来保护环境，当好环境的主人吧。

保护环境是每个人责不旁待的义务，无论大人还是小孩，只要从身边小事做起，就能为保护环境贡献一点力量。下面就是我从生活中的点滴小事中总结出来的，希望对保护环境、节能减排能有帮助。

第一点， 出门不要开车，做公交车、骑自行车和走路是再好不过的办法了。如果路途遥远，可以做公交车，这样既可以节约能源，又可以赶时间;如果路途不太遥远，可以骑自行车，这样既可以赶时间、节能减排，还可以锻炼身体，同时也是出去郊游的一种方式;如果路途不远，也不赶时间的话，可以选择步行，因为走路不仅可以锻炼身体，还可以欣赏路边的风景，同时还可以思考问题，何乐而不为呢?如果有急事，必须要开车的话，要选择低排量的车，这样从尾气筒里排出来的二氧化碳就会减少对空气的危害。

第二点， 要节约每一度电。在日常生活中，有好多电都是在不知不觉中浪费掉的。比如：我们一边开着电视，一边开着电脑;出门的时候，电源没有关掉;每个房间，没能做到人走灯灭......这样太浪费电的事情太多太多了。如果我们能合理用电，节约身边的每一度电，这样就能节约好多能源。

第三点， 要节约每一滴水。大家知道，水是生命的源泉，如果没有水，地球上的万物都不能生存。其实，在日常生活中，我们很容易做到节约用水：将洗菜水、洗碗水存起来，用来冲厕所;将洗衣服水存起来，用来拖地、冲厕所;洗澡的时候，尽量不要淋浴，可以将水接到大盆里，这样既可以好好地泡个热水澡，也能节约好多水，其不是一举两得......可以节约用水的地方实在太多了，只要你留心，随处随时都可以。如果我们不节约用水，50年后的地球将会是一个缺水的星球，到那时候我们将会面临吃水困难的问题而濒临死亡，所以我们要从现在开始节约每一滴水，让地球妈妈不再口渴。

第四点， 变废为宝。我们身边的一些废品也可以变成一些新事物。比如：肥皂盒可以改成储物盒，废电池可以做装饰品……废物利用的例子举不胜举，就让我们从现在开始，养成良好的习惯吧!

请节约我们身边的每一滴资源，好好利用它们，让低碳生活从我们的身边开始。相信大家一定会节能减排，过着低碳生活的。

In our daily lives, we have many choices to make, such as what to eat for supper,what clothes to wear, or what to do on weekends. At certain times in our lives, we need to make even more critical choices, such as which school to attend, what job to take or who to choose as husband or wife. Yes, life is a matter of choice. Seemimgly, it means a choice of tangible things. But in essence, it means choosing a way of life. Life is to be lived, savored, and enjoyed, not to be wasted or complained about.

Although we cannot choose our appearance, inborn gifts and even avoid unexpected disasters and adversities, we do have the privilege to choose to live optimistcally,to love our lives, to have dreams, and to cherish hopes.

Every morning when we get up, we have a choice of how we want to approach life that day. As for me, I choose to be cheerful.

日常生活中,我们会面临各种各样的选择,像是晚餐吃什么,穿什么或是如何度周末.而在人生中的特定阶段,我们需要做出更多关键性的抉择,例如教育,职业或者人生伴侣.生活就意味着一种选择.这种选择看似是对具体事物的判断,但归根究底,是一种生活方式的选择.任何无味的抱怨和虚度光阴只会带来乏味,生活的美需要细心品尝,用心体会.

尽管容貌和天资都是上苍给予,而人生旅途中的坎坷与荆棘我们也无法预计,那就让我们热爱生命,拥有梦想,珍惜希望吧.
