I imagine a lot about lives in the future. I think two words can summarize

my imagination. The first word is fast. In the future, we will have more quickly

transportation means. Now matter how far we go, it takes only a short time. With

the development of science and technology, we can travel to the moon, Mars or

somewhere outer space. People may can live in other planets. The second word is

convenient. Because of the fast development of our society, many work can be

done by computers or even robots. Lots of things are fully automated. Humans

just need to give some simple instructions to complete complecated tasks.

Childhood is often regarded as a memorable and beautiful period of one’s life and I passed it happily as a grade-school student. My grade school days were really carefree ones. I got along well with my classmates and On holidays we strolled along the street visited the park and shared one another s candies The teacher of our class was a patient woman who took pains to teach us how to behave and often accompanied us to play games after class-games which were enlivened by songs prattle and laughters. we retire, which seems everybody does the same thing in their life. They start

to wonder about the meaning of life. In my opinion, the meaning of life lies in

study and finding the right place.

Study comes first for human being. Since we learn the knowledge, we get to

know about the world. The more we learn, the more we want to search for the

unknown knowledge. The world is beautiful because of diversity, and there are so

many amazing scenery waiting for us to discover. At the process of searching the

knowledge, we also become mature and have our own thinking.

Finding the place in the world is the basic task for us. The purpose of

knowledge is to master some skills, so as to get accustomed to the world and

know what we want to do and what we can bring to the world. The value we create

can bring happiness to people we love and make a contribution to the world.

Life is short, but we keep searching all the time.

I am so looking forward to my college life. I have pictured it thousands of

times in my mind. The free lifestyle and lively parties are always appearing my

mind. The great expectation of campus life endows me a lot of passion to keep

study. After two years’ study, I would find my lifestyle.

The first thing for me is to learn more knowledge. Most students find a way

to release themselves and skip or sleep in the class. They think study is just

the task, so they give up improving themselves and take part in all kinds of

activities, which bring them great joy. The wrong conception about college stage

realize my job and dare not to loose study.

The second thing for me to learn is to make friends by joining activities.

I am a shy girl, but inside my heart, I am so eager to make more friends, so I

choose to join many activities in the spared time. I learn dancing and playing

tennis. The lucky thing is that I know many nice people and we become good

friends, who make my college colorful.

As a Senior Grade Three students, I am very busy in preparing for the college entrance examination. I have seven classes a day, and two self-study classes at night. And only a day left for the weekend. So, most of the time I have to spend on the study, after all the college entrance examination is very important for almost all of us. Aside of study, I would play football with my friends after school and the weekend. I like playing football very much. When I run on the football field, I can put the examination thing off my mind for a while, only sweat and laugh left. It is a good exercise for health and a good way to relax from the busy study too. College is much different than high school.You may decide to commute from your home to a local campus.Without doubt,the most dramatic freshman year is for those living away from home.What can we expect as we head off into the wonderful world of higher education?

The first thing I notice is the workload.It is heavier and more intense than I ever experienced before.The major challenges of college work are large volume of reading,short deadlines,and “endless” writing.A related effect that can be brought on by the workload is doubt,frustration,and loneliness if possible.

On some of those long,seemingly endless nights of studying and writing,it will be very natural for me to long for fine old days.Hang in there.These down periods will pass.

My School Life

My life the most unforgettable is my primary school. Because I do not have to early to go to school every day。 Need not very tired. And also very early from school in the afternoon. Work is very less. Knowledge is also simple. My primary school life is so colorful.

随着快乐美好假期生活的结束，我成为一名四年级学生，迎来了新学期。面对新生活，见到新同学，我心中十分激动，充满着最新的美好憧憬。

心怀着无限美好的期望，我迎接了开学第一天。天空如此晴朗，耳边伴着鸟语，口中哼着曲子，我在妈妈的带领下来到了崭新的学校—大街岭小学。进入新的班级——152班。

How time flies！ It has been three years since I came to the school。 My school is beautiful and there are many beautiful flowers and trees。 The teachers are so kind though there is always too much homework。 My classmates are all very friendly to each other。 We always help each other。 I have learned a lot from them and made a lot of friends。 I enjoy my school life。 However， I dont do well in math。 I’ll try my best to study math during the summer holidays。 Now Im going to say goodbye to my teachers and classmates。 Ill miss my school life。

In my opinion, the schoolwork now being assigned to high school students is too heavy. while it is true that students need to study, they need other things as well if they are to grow into healthy and well-rounded adults. high should be allowed more time for play. plying is not wasting time, as some think. it gives them physical exercise, and also exercise their imagination. which tends to be stifled by too much study.

Finally, the pressure put on high school students by excessive schoolwork can cause serious stress, which is unhealthy physically and mentally. i do not advocate the elimination of schoolwork. i do think, however, that a reduction of the current heavy load would be beneficial to students and to the society as a whole.

Whether sixty or sixteen, there is in every human beings heart the lure of

wonders, the unfailing childlike appetite of whats next and the joy of the game

of living. In the center of your heart and my heart there is a wireless station:

“磨剪子来戗菜刀”就像京剧里面的一句唱腔，在城市林立的楼宇间回荡。我推开一扇窗，那颇具韵味的吆喝声越发清晰，真切地冲击着我的耳膜。我痴痴地站在窗前，凝望着似曾相识的身影，自己仿佛穿越了时空，回到故乡，回到童年。

听到吆喝声，母亲命令我去把磨刀师傅领过来，我不太愿意去但又胳膊拧不过大腿，只好磨磨蹭蹭地往街上走。我无精打采地走在前面，磨刀人颤悠颤悠地跟在后边，一边走还不忘喊一嗓子。进了院子里，卸下挑子，磨刀人从脖子上扯下条毛巾擦把汗，一边翻看母亲那把钝得连手指头也切不动的菜刀，一边与母亲讨价还价。谈好价钱，磨刀人从挑子一头卸下一块有凹槽的特大号磨刀石，放到长条凳子上，自己骑马蹲裆似的坐在另一端，忽撩着我端过来的半盆清水，拉开架势嚯嚯地磨起来。

那个时候我家住在一个民贫地瘠的小山村，村民们很少走出去，外面的人也很少走进来，直到年底已经咂到年的味道了，才肯有人过来讨个生计。来人里最受我欢迎的就是崩爆米花的。

沿街生起一个带有支架的敞口炉子，燃烧的煤块发出熠熠的光芒。爆米花师傅把玉米和糖精倒进炮膛里(爆米花机就像一尊在电影里见过的大炮)，扣紧盖儿，大炮被架到火上去，一边用铁筷子扒拉炭火，一边不紧不慢地转动着手柄。等待是漫长的，回报也是丰厚的，激动人心的时刻终于到了，被烟熏火燎的黑不溜秋的大炮取下来，对准一个细长的钢丝网袋，我们侧转身子，双手捂紧耳朵。

崩爆米花的用钢钎撬一下后盖儿，伴随着腾空而起的白雾，巨大的爆炸声在村子的天空飘荡。刚刚还金灿灿的玉米就像经过了魔术师的手，瞬间变成白洼洼的会跳跃的花朵，空气中弥漫着诱人的香气。我们一群孩子争先恐后地围上去，贼着一双双小眼睛，寻找漏网之鱼，一旦抢到手，顾不上掸去上面沾染的灰土草屑就塞进嘴里，喀赤喀赤地咬着。回头看一眼自己家满满的一盆，那种幸福感真是难以用语言来表达。

With the dramatic increasing economy, people have less time to stay with

the family. But in this eve, it could be a payback,a compensation, or a

family. The relaxing conversation and jokes are around the rooms with the warm

atmosphere in the chill winter night.

There are a lot of traditions of the eve inherited for generations. But,

now more and more new fashions introduced into this eve and even replaced the

old traditions. More and more people are glad to have the dinner in the

restaurants instead of cooking and having at home. However, no matter what it

is, a harmouious and peaceful night is the favorite of everybody here.
