几个月前，我还是一名初三即将毕业的学生，现在真的毕业了，开始舍不得过去。

这里不得不说的就是我在高一上学期的期末统考中意外地考了级部第一。我想，那大概是我整个高一最辉煌的时期了。因为它，我的寒假都过得很风光。它也带给了我许多用金钱买不到的东西：荣誉、机会、老师的青睐、同学的钦佩……我在惊喜之余却也感到一丝不安——我知道那个第一是怎么来的。是我每天早起晚睡换来的，是我在别人谈笑风声、悠哉游哉时埋头苦学得来的，是我在天还没亮、在“大风扬积雪击面”的清晨、在别人还沉浸在睡梦中的时候早早到教室学习的结果。我怕那个第一会使我不思进取，所以我不敢懈怠。于是，在高一下学期我又考了两次级部第一。这时，我以为板凳已经坐热了，在不知不觉间懈怠了。结果，在高一最后的、也是最重要的一次考试中我跌了下来，跌得很狠、很惨，跌得让我差点儿爬不起来。我哭了，止也止不住地哭了，我感到这是一种莫大的耻辱，好像全世界的人都在嘲笑我，我恨我自己，我怕见到同学和好友那同情、怜悯的目光，我问苍天，你既然给了我那一切，为什么又要突然收回去呢？如果是这样的结果，我还不如不曾拥有……但这都无济于事。那段时间，我常常独自徘徊在校园的角落里，痛苦着，反思着。终于，我想明白了，终于，我挣扎着站了起来。现实是残酷的，你不拼搏，你不奋斗，你就会被挤下去，正所谓“逆水行舟，不进则退。”第一并不代表一切，这次输了还有下一次，下一次输了还有再下一次……失败不要紧，重要的是不能失掉信心和勇气；即使最后没有机会了也问心无愧——因为我尽力了。况且这只是刚刚开始，我不能还没有输就先把自己打倒，我要重拾自信，我要重新开始！我相信成功一定正在不远不近的地方等待着我。现在想来，那段过程似乎是必经的——或许这对我也是件好事：至少让我学会了成熟面对失败。从长远看，这可比那所谓的“第一”要重要的多——可能会使我的一生都受益无穷。

如今站在高一的尾巴上，我无力也不想挽留这逝去的一年。经历了这么多事，我感到自己好像又回到了起点。但这个起点当然已经不是去年夏天进校时的那个起点了。经过一年的洗礼，我学到了很多东西，尝到了大起大落的滋味，也看开了许多事情，不会再为那个唯一的第一而患得患失。最重要的是——我长大了，少了一些幼稚，多了一些成熟。因此，我还是很感激这一年的。

总之，我长大了——这就是我最大的收获。
