Summer can be very hot in southern taibei where the temperature usually goes up to 32"C or more. Because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. Also because of this I stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky. Actually I like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. In the summer vacation that has just ended I went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. So I have never see the dragon boat contest since I was born. So the dragon boat festival is just a holiday for eating Zong Zi . My mother made Zong Zi when I was a child. Because there was no supermarket, we couldn t buy finished product from market. However, now, we can buy anything in supermarket, so my mother didn t make them anymore. The boat festival began to fade out my mind.

In reality, young people began to have a bug to celebrate foreign festivals, such as Christams, Saint Valentine s day, April Fool s Day, some people also celebrate Easter in church. Talk about Dragon boat festival, it s the same as some foreign conventional festivals, such as Witch s Day in Czech. People burned the witch s puppet so as to welcome spring. I decide to draw two canvases about Christmas, it s really a big project. Then I ll hang them on the new house wall. I must start it now, or I can t finish them before Christmas eve. Today is Mother’s Day.I know some of my classmates are going to help their mothers with the housework,others are going to buy some flowers for their mothers.I want to say to her that I love her very much. 高中阶段第一次大型的考试就落下了帷幕。蜂拥而出的学生把走廊堵住了。“猴哥，看哇！老子说提前交卷的，你要等到考试完了才出来！现在安逸了？这么挤！”蓝天非常不满地说道。“锤子哦！今天老猪监考，敢走哦？”一听猴哥提起老朱（班主任：朱真强），蓝天便没了语言了。在这学期里面，这哥俩可没少被老朱收拾。一次，两人因为扰乱班级上课次序，被老朱送进了办公室。关禁闭一星期。而后两人在老朱的“密切关注”下生活，……

There are many arguments about the advantages and disadvantages of examinations. Some people think that examinations can help them review the lessons regularly, while others maintain that too many examinations have frustrated them.

Last month we had a sports meeting. Though the weather wasnt very fine that day, the students were all very excited and the whole school was alive.

This time, I was even more excited. Because I went in for the sports meeting and my item was high jump. I didnt want to get any place, I only wanted to enjoy the game because I knew I wasnt good at sports.

When I got to the field with my friend. I was both excited and nervous. When I saw the first height, my heart could hardly heat. How high it was! It was higher than our desks. 篇四：A page from Sally’s diary

Last week we had the school sports meet on our school sports ground. All my classmates took active parts in it. Sometimes we watched the sports games closely.Sometimes we gave loud cheers to the sports members.

John took a part in 1500-metre race. He was the fastest runner in the race and won the first place. Lisa did not do well in high-jump, so we said “come on” to cheer her up. I took part in 200-metre running race. As soon as I heard the starting PANG, I tried my best to run faster than others. As I was running I could hear “Come on! Come on!”from my classmates.This gave me great strenth. Finally I was the first person to get to the finishing line.I was number one.

As a result, my class won the first prize in the sports meet. How proud we were! It was really an exciting day.

My School

This is my school, it is so big and beautiful. School classroom very capacious, also extremely clean, our teacher is very friendly to us. Our school is in stationery shop opposite. Our school learning environment is very good.

We study at school very happy! I love my school!

My school life is very common. I get up at six o’clock every morning from Monday to Friday. And the I would go running with my classmates, as our head teacher says health is the most important thing. After running I have to do morning exercises on the playground. Then I can have breakfast. Having breakfast, I need to have morning reading. Oh, I almost forget that all of the students have to do some cleaning before breakfast. There come the various classes. Then noon comes. Having lunch, I will go to sleep. I often read twenty minutes before I fall asleep. I have class in the afternoon. And I still have classes at night. It’s boring, right? But I have got used to it and enjoy myself at school.

“没有花香，没有树高……”从那一刻起，我发觉自己深深地爱上了那毫不起眼的小草。

记得那是去年暑假的时候，由于我要参加钢琴考级，终日疲于备考，魔鬼式的训练让我意志日渐消沉，退堂鼓在心中悄然奏响。为了安抚我那躁动的心，妈妈带着我去宁夏看望爸爸，一走就是十天。由于去得较为匆忙，家中养的花草忘了交代给亲友。等回来之后，我们发觉阳台上的花儿全都在烈日下殒命。伤心之余，我开始收拾那些植物的残骸，就在不经意之间，一抹小小的绿色出现在我的眼前。

那究竟是什么呢?凑近一看，分明是一小撮小草的幼苗，那么柔嫩，那么娇艳!此时，我才忆起十多天前，我一时兴起，从超市里买回了一种小草的种子，随手将其撒在花盆里，并盖上了一小层土，之后就将这件事忘得一干二净。未曾料想到，原本长势良好的各式花儿都在烈日的淫威下香消玉殒，反倒是这不起眼的柔弱生命在酷热之下焕发出生机与活力。

惊喜之余，我将这盆小草视若珍宝。轻洒几番雨露之后，它们长势一片大好。此后的一段时间，我一边照料这几株可敬的生命，一边勤加练习，积极备考。是啊，如此柔弱的生命遭受那么大的困难尚且还能顽强不屈，我又怎能轻言放弃呢?

钢琴考级归来之后，我看到那一盆小草正在微风中翩翩起舞。它虽无花香，也无树高，但却有着永不幻灭的灵魂。我明白，我当如小草一般生活，如小草般坚韧，像小草般顽强。
