于是，我来到了文具店，进去之后我看见，哇！这里的学习用品应有尽有，有各种各样的笔，有五颜六色的橡皮，还有各种图案的尺子，而我要找的是错题本和铅芯。我从上往下看了一遍，在中间的位置找到了错题本，在最下面一层找到了铅芯。铅芯的种类有很多，有0。5、0。7和0。9的，有长方形、正方形和圆柱形的，还有红盒、黑盒和蓝盒的。这时，我发现了一盒银色的0。5铅芯，我轻轻地拿起它，看了又看，它非常的精致，闪闪发光的盒子让人爱不释手。我问阿姨这个多少钱，阿姨走过来看着我说：“这个20元钱，因为它是进口的，所以比其他的都贵。”我想：虽然我很喜欢它，但是买了它就不能买错题本了，我只有20元钱。于是，我把它放回原位，挑了另外一盒0。5的铅芯，这盒铅芯我也很喜欢，而且物美价廉。我拿着错题本和铅芯去结账，我从口袋里掏出妈妈给我的20元钱递给收银台的阿姨，阿姨和气地说：“本和铅芯一共9元，找给你11元。”我接过钱，向阿姨道谢后，转身离开。

妈妈在门口的不远处等我，我对妈妈说：“我的后背和手心都出汗了，我好紧张啊！”妈妈摸了摸我的头说：“没事的，下次再去购物就不会紧张了。”

一天中午，妈妈给我了一个艰巨的任务，让我去超市独自买今天一家人的晚餐食材。一听到这个消息，我既开心又紧张，我首先想了想要买的东西，并回忆了家里经常吃什么，我决定买土黄色的土豆、红红的大苹果，细长的香肠和又白又大的馒头。然后便走出了家门。

从家到超市的路我经常走，但这次我少了一些期待，多了一份激动。走进超市我看到琳琅满目的商品和熙熙攘攘的人们。开始独自购物，我心里突然有点紧张和不知所措，我环顾四周，看见了水果区，就毫不犹豫地冲了过去，看到了红黄相间的苹果和红彤彤的苹果，我觉得红彤彤的苹果更熟更甜，就在红彤彤的苹果堆里认真挑了两个我觉得最好的，赶快放到了购物车里。然后我又去挑土豆，可是我不知道该挑什么样的，我看了看别人选的什么样的，决定挑没有洞而且比较圆的，就照样子拿了三个。之后看到了我很喜欢吃的娃娃菜，就临时决定买一袋，我转身去买别的东西，突然看到称重台，就想起了土豆还要称重，赶紧拿起土豆去称重。买好了三样东西之后，我的心里踏实了很多。我很顺利地买了馒头和香肠，就去收银台排队结账。终于轮到我了，我开心地把买的东西一样一样拿出来，这时突然传来了一个声音，“小朋友，你的苹果没有称重。”售货员阿姨说，我恍然大悟，但也没有办法，只好把苹果留在收银台上。虽然有点遗憾，但我总算完成了任务，我也非常开心，一蹦一跳地走出了超市。

one of my happiest experiences is celebrating christmas in college.

since im in college, chances are high that there are other foreign students who have no family to celebrate with. So i gathered my friends, classmates and other Christmas-celebrators together and enjoyed the day. i also invited my local friends to join us. It is a great way to share your culture with each other. we hanged beautiful Christmas ornaments from dorm windows. we picked up some large poster board and markers at the bookstore and made signs that read, for example, “Just Say Merry Christmas!” we also taped one sign to dorm windows facing out for everyone to see. as for the celebration at night, everybody showed their talent. some were good at singing. some preferred to dance. i shared my jokes with foreign friends. the effect was good that it aroused a big laugh. but the more interesting thing i found was that some of my classmates didnt give their responses, for they didnt understand it at all.

this is an really unforgetable christmas to me. we all had a big fun on that day.

11月20日 星期四 晴

很多天以前我们就得到消息，省外一家外文出版社今天要到本系招2名英文编辑。一打听，要求还挺高，不但学习成绩进入全系前二十名，还要在英文刊物上发表过文章。仔细掂量了一下自己的实力，我的成绩是全系第十五，这个条件我符合;至于在英文刊物上发表文章，这个条件就有点难了，整个专业也许没几个吧。去还是不去呢?思虑再三，还是去试试。

招聘会在语音室进行。前来应聘的人数不是很多，也就十多人吧。大概是学习成绩这个条件让很多人望而生畏。面试开始了，应聘者依次拿着自己的简历和面试老师面对面坐着交谈。时间大概是3分钟。在我前面的几名同学，和面试老师的交谈了不到一分钟，就灰溜溜地走了，连简历也没有留下。很显然，他们都被淘汰了。

该我上场了。果然，面试老师一得知我没有发表文章的经历，连我的简历也没有看，客气地对我说了声“抱歉”。然后就招呼下一位了。

睡前总结：也许是第一次参加应聘吧，感觉很失败。毕业求职时发现自己学到的东西并不太多。对没有工作经验的我来说，平时的经验就是很好的积累。我很后悔大学前三年没有好好练笔写些稿子。

11月22日 星期六 阴

前天那场招聘会，被隔壁班的两位英语高人给抢走了，听说待遇还不错。签就签了吧，至少少了两个竞争对手，好单位还多着呢。

在武汉科技会展中心，今天有场“武汉8校联合招聘会”，我早早地买了门票，攥着几天前就准备好的6份简历进了场。其中4份是准备应聘翻译的，另外两份应聘英文报刊编辑。其实我的“硬件”还算过得去——专业八级，计算机三级，还有两次“院三好学生”和两次二等奖学金。找个翻译的工作，胜算应该比较大吧。

会场人很多，我绕场转了两圈，仅发现两家英文报刊在招广告策划，想想和自己的专业沾了点边，我毫不犹豫地把简历递了过去。

对方仔细看我的简历，问了一句：“你是学广告策划的吗?”

他刚才不是看了吗?怎么还问我?我说：“不是，我是英语专业的。我对你们的工作岗位……”“对不起，我们不要其他专业的!”还没说完，对方就很不耐烦地打断了我的话。

睡前总结：今天的收获几乎为零。宿舍小文总结我的失败之处在于跨专业求职。想来也对，跨专业求职对普通学生难度太大，除非事前有很好的准备。今天的失败应该在于没考虑自己的专业因素吧。

11月27日 星期四 阴

谢天谢地，终于迎来第一场针对本专业的招聘会。宿舍的几位姐妹都起床忙于梳妆打扮。我早早地起来，又把自己的简历看了一遍，按求职意向分门别类整理了一下自己的思路。挤进会场后，我先绕场一周了解大致情况，然后有针对性地把我的简历投了出去。

我们专业不过500来人，而整个会场人数足足有一两千。我甚至还瞥见有位同学来自广东省的中山大学。

到底是针对英语专业，让我感觉自己能胜任在场的所有职位。上午我去一家外贸公司应聘高级翻译。面试老师用英语问起了一些有关我家庭成员和籍贯的问题，虽然谈不上对答如流，却也算是表达清晰。后来又和我聊起了今年年初流行的SARS病的相关问题知识，我的语句就开始不通畅了。最后我感觉对方有点落井下石，竟问起了今年诺贝尔化学奖的得主来自哪个国家。我支吾了半天，只好“SORRY”。

还是再试试另一家报社的英文编辑吧。

展位前的椅子上已经坐了好多前来应聘的人。我刚要找个地方坐下，中间一位老师就站起来宣布面试开始。接着发给大家每人一张试卷。要求在半个小时内完成。

我瞅了瞅周围的人，他们看上去相当认真。题目是十个选择填空题和一篇作文改错。几个选择题似乎很简单，几分钟我就完成了。那篇作文是有关神州5号飞船升空的，反复看了好几遍，才找到一处语法错误。眼看时间快到了，我胡乱地改了几处单词。然后把试卷交了上去。

那位戴眼镜的老编辑花了几分钟看完了我们的试卷，当场宣布5人进入下一轮面试，其余的人全部淘汰。原因是只有这5人记得神州5号升空的日子。

为什么平时不多看看报纸呢。这么重要的错误也没发现?下次还是小心点吧。

睡前总结：两个这么好的工作就被我这样给糟蹋了。我发现虽然自己专业已经是八级，但口语什么的好象还不太够用，而要命的是我平时除了集中学习专业知识，对外界的关心太少了。 翻译和编辑两种工作都需要大量的社会知识积累。我败在了平时。

12月1日 星期一 阴

连续两天，华中科技大学和武汉科技会展中心召开了两场招聘会。天很冷，但依然高兴，因为两天的奔波换来了三个面试机会。

一是本市一家进出口贸易公司，我应聘副总经理秘书，二是一家企业缺个策划，再就是市中心一所重点高中的英语教师。我根据自己的优势和硬件，集中对英语教师进行了精心准备。想到面试时多半会要求我上台试讲，我还特地请教了我们的英语老师，让他为我作了特别辅导。

果然不出我所料，那位老校长要我上讲台授课，4位老师临时充当我的学生。好在我提前做了准备，一上讲台，我就着那本高中英语课本绘声绘色地讲了起来。加上我们高中学过那篇课文，我发挥比较出色。20分钟后，老校长叫停，而后就和几位老师开始了讨论。

说实话，虽然紧张，但我对自己的发挥还是比较满意。果然，老校长对我说：“刘小姐，你已经通过了我们的面试，如果你是真诚喜欢这个职位的话，请随时拨打我的电话，我等你的好消息。”说完，递过来一张名片。

睡前总结：那一刻，我几乎要高兴得喊出来。为了工作，我已经整整奔波了10 天了。今天终于尝到了被录用的甜头。嘿嘿。

[一个英语系毕业生的求职经历日记

我在家本来是个“小王子”，享受着衣来伸手、饭来张口的舒适的生活。

不过，每次看到妈妈洗衣服时，我总是想上去帮她一把。不过妈妈呢，总是拒绝。今天，我撒娇着让妈妈同意让我洗衣服，妈妈无奈的同意了。我分外高兴，一蹦一跳的来到了卫生间。

站在门口，我右手挠了挠脑袋，妈妈平时是先做什么的呢？我眼睛一亮，我得先拿一个盆。拿起盆装满水之后，我拿几件脏衣服按进水里。接着用手捏了一小撮洗衣粉洒在了盆里，手用力的搅了搅，我发现盆里没有泡沫。天哪，是不是我洗衣粉放少了？我看了一眼盆，又看了一眼洗衣粉，还是再放一些吧！我又抓了一大把洗衣粉撒到了水盆中将它搅化，洗衣粉又消失个干干净净，无影无踪，怎么还是没有泡沫呢？我双手叉腰无奈的摇了摇头，突然，我眼前一亮，再挤一些洗衣液吧！我来到卫生间的角落，拿起了洗衣液倒进盆中。洗衣液一进盆里，我就发现好像有效果了，有一些小泡沫出现。我可高兴了，连忙放下洗衣液来到盆前，蹲下身子抓起衣服进行整体的揉搓。啊，泡沫漫天飞，七彩的泡沫飞到了我的嘴边，我无意识的伸出舌头舔了一舔，那味道苦苦的、涩涩的。自己做的事儿自己得承担呀，虽然脸上身上有好多的泡沫，我也只能这样蹲在盆前用力的搓洗着衣服。整体揉搓完了，我抓起衣袖，发现它还是挺脏，我用力地将它进行对搓，发现衣袖的污渍很快就消失了。不过盆里的泡沫实在是真多，等我洗完衣服，全身上下都是泡沫。

妈妈来了，看见我这样子，“扑哧”一下笑了，摇摇头：“你这个孩子呀，怎么洗的衣服呢！”我瞧瞧妈妈，低头看了看自己，也笑了。

今天虽然是我第一次洗衣服，也闹了一些小笑话，是个有趣的经历。不过，我还是很开心，下一次我一定要再洗一次衣服，不过今天的笑话我可不会再闹了哟！

我立刻想起要买的东西：一瓶酱油。我找到蔬果区。蔬果区的商品可真多呀！有紫红紫红的茄子，有白花花的菜花，有火红火红的西红柿，还有金灿灿的桔子。但我怎么也找不到卖酱油的地方。我心想：“这可怎么办呢？”于是，我鼓足勇气去问售货员阿姨：“阿姨，卖酱油的地方在哪儿？”售货员阿姨指着那边笑眯眯地对我说：“小朋友，酱油就在那边。”我说了一声“谢谢！”就飞快地跑向那边。到了卖酱油的地方，我顺利地拿到了酱油。

我们非常快乐，不知不觉走了许多路。本来想从前面那边的沙滩抄近路回去的，却突然发现被很高的岩石挡住了去路。好不容易走到这儿，真扫兴!有人说：“我们肯定过不去了。”是呀，刚才明明看到可以过去的，岩石下面还有窄窄的一条沙滩啊，这会儿怎么不见那沙滩了呢，怎么只有岩石横着了呢?真奇怪!

“呀，不好!涨潮了!”真的，其他的人仔细观察了一会儿，才恍然大悟，原来海水果然在慢慢的往上涨，我们竟然没发现。于是，一行人急急忙忙往回赶。走呀走，海水越涨越高，快把沙滩都淹没了。糟糕!我们越走越快，眼看就要到原先的入海处了，却发现那里一片汪洋。怎么办?天色渐近黄昏，海水还在不断地往上涨，似乎比刚才更快了。大人们刚刚还在嘻嘻哈哈的开着玩笑，现在都严肃起来。

“看来只能从那儿爬上去了。”有人想出了办法。可是，怎么爬呢?那边是人工堆积的黄土，有三四个大人那么高，并且很陡，能爬吗?“要不，打电话请人来救吧?”“还是我们自己先试试吧!”大家赶快跑过去，一个接一个往上爬。泥土很滑，我好几次差点摔跤，最后那个大我两岁的童伟诚哥哥把我拉了上去。我一看，到处都是黄土，还有几台很大的吊车。啊，终于脱险了!大家开心地笑着跑着，还拍了几张照片。

I used to be fond of skating. But now things have changed because of a horrible experience.

One winter, the weather was so cold that water turned into ice. One day on my way home, when seeing a frozen lake, I thought that the ice must be thick enough to support me.
