Fathers Day is a holiday to celebrate fatherhood and parenting by males,

just as Mothers Day celebrates motherhood. Typically giving gifts to fathers

and celebrating as a family is the main event of the day. Fathers Day is

celebrated on different days in different countries.

Fathers Day exists almost all over the world to honor and commemorate

fathers or forefathers. In the Roman Catholic tradition, Fathers Day is

celebrated on Saint Josephs Day, March 19, though in most countries Fathers

Day is a secular celebration.

In recent years, retailers have adapted to the holiday by selling

male-oriented gifts such as electronics and tools. Schools and other childrens

programs commonly have activities to make Fathers Day gifts.

In the United States, the driving force behind the establishment of the

celebration of Fathers Day was Mrs Sonora Smart Dodd, born in Creston,

Washington. Her father, the Civil War veteran William Jackson Smart, as a single

parent raised his six children in Spokane, Washington. She was inspired by Anna

Jarviss efforts to establish Mothers Day. Although she initially suggested

June 5, the anniversary of her fathers death, she did not provide the

organizers with enough time to make arrangements, and the celebration was

deferred to the third Sunday of June. The first Fathers Day was celebrated on

June 19, 1910, in Spokane.

Unofficial support from such figures as William Jennings Bryan was

immediate and widespread. President Woodrow Wilson was personally feted by his

family in 1916. President Calvin Coolidge recommended it as a national holiday

in 1924. In 1966, President Lyndon Johnson made Fathers Day a holiday to be

celebrated on the third Sunday of June. The holiday was not officially

recognized until 1972, during the presidency of Richard Nixon.

When I was very young ,the sky in my hometown was nice and beautiful, the sky was very blue,and the air was fresh. There were some birds singing ,and there were many trees in the fields. I often played with my friends in the open air.I liked it.

试探性的求职信是你主动发给你感兴趣的公司的，这类希望渺茫的却经常能出人意料的取得成功，因为这种申请求职的方法表现出了申请人本身的能力、勇气和激情。

试探性求职申请信应该简洁，讲清楚你对该公司感兴趣的原因，写明你具备的资格以及你认为会引起该公司注意的任何品德。邮寄申请信时，要把也一起寄去。你还需要知道公司里人事经理或部门经理的名字，把直接信寄给他会更有效一些。

可能在很长的一段时间里，你收不到任何回音，那么可以断定该公司目前没有你申请的空缺职位。

最近一直在看于丹教授的《论语》心得，首先想要说的是，这是一本非常好的书。

每每去到书店，各种各样、五花八门的关于教人们“怎样做人、怎样对待人生挫折、怎样处事”的书籍比比皆是，而这些所谓的“心灵鸡汤”迎合了当今复杂社会下处于“心灵冲撞”中的人们所需要的那种必要的理解和必要的心灵慰籍，而这些书籍中，我认为于丹教授关于《论语》的心得体会却是最值得一看的。

想起以前读中学的时候，什么《论语》《庄子》在我的眼中都是很深奥的东西，虽然在添鸭式的教育中我背会了“学而时习之，不亦说乎？有朋自远方来，不亦乐乎？人不知而不愠，不亦君子乎”、“不在其位，不某其政”“人无远虑，必有近忧”等朗朗上口的句子，可自问心里对这些话的理解却是肤浅和随意的。或许，没有于丹，我大脑中不会再想起《论语》，不会想到通过读《论语》来指导自己的生活，也不会理解先人圣贤为什么会说出“以半部《论语》治天下”的那种推崇，当看了于丹教授的书后，我知道了孔夫子的伟大，也知道了过去自认为深奥的孔夫子的《论语》并不是高不可及的，先贤们说的话，穿越沧桑，传到今天，仍然可以让我受益匪浅、温暖备至。

于丹教授说：“《论语》告诉大家的，永远是最简单的。”、“《论语》的真谛，就是告诉大家，怎么样才能过上我们心灵所需要的那种快乐的生活。”，所以，当这本书被我认认真真地看完后，心里很为于丹教授把现代社会、现代人的生活通过《论语》完美结合后给予的精辟阐释表示喝彩！

首先，他们教我们在遥远的亚马逊森林里该如何跟原始人打招呼，韩潇大哥哥先给我们做示范：第一步，说几句话。话音刚落，他俩就叽哩呱啦地说了一通我们听不懂的“火星语言”。第二步，拍拍肚子，我奇怪了，拍肚子要干啥？难道表示肚子饿了？他接下去的话才让我恍然大悟：“这就是表示你晚餐吃饱了。”哦，原来如此。

接下来，翁文新哥哥又给我们讲语文和数学的学习方法。他说“学语文最好有一个笔记本，在上课的时候要认真记笔记。课后要经常复习老师讲的重点，并且还要多看经典名著，可以帮我们积累词汇，对写作文有帮助。接着他又说：“学数学一定要有错题本，用来记录错题。每次考试错了题，不要糊里糊涂地把答案直接抄上去，一定要弄清楚原因再改，改完将原题抄到错题本上，不要直接写答案，过段时间再拿出来重新做一遍。只有这样才能温故而知新。”想想我平时，我对他的方法佩服得五体投地。

讲座结束了，我在心中默默地想：“我一定会把他们的学习方法活学活用，争取有一天也能取得像他们那样的好成绩。”

2015年12月12号，这个特别的日子里，我们有幸观看了心理健康讲座：认识自己，了解他人，善待生命。生命来之不易，我们更需珍惜生命，情绪的变化会受到生活环境，人物的影响。心态决定一切。人难免会有负面情绪，及时调整心态确实能够帮助事情更好地发展，但我认为更重要的是从自身做起，建立良好的心态，减少负面情绪，更能帮助自我成长。

呼吸与人生的乐趣和幸福是密切相关的，这一点人们很少关心和注意。殊不知呼吸不够充足时能减弱人们的生命力，使代谢缓慢，浅呼吸导致疲劳、贫血和萎靡不振，同时还能使人们的情绪向消极方面发展，如愤怒、消沉、自卑和莫须有的内疚感等。呼吸是生命里最重要的一个环节。没有了呼吸，生命便戛然而止。而呼吸的节奏快慢会影响我们的情绪，所以我们需要控制好自己的情绪，所以当我们遇到慌乱的事情的时候，要学会深呼吸。调整自己的呼吸节奏控制自己的情绪，沉着冷静的去处理情绪上的波动，然而关于这方面的体会，不妨试一试。

你是否想更了解你自己的气质呢?首先大体分为四种：一：胆汁质二：多血质三:粘液质四：忧郁质。气质可能会随着人经历和生活环境而改变。四种气质的表现也不尽相同。比如胆汁质相当于巴甫洛夫的兴奋型，胆汁质表现为精力旺盛，态度直率，易激动，有时暴躁。这类人是由于神经活动具有很高的兴奋性。多血质相当于活泼型，多血质类的代表热忱，多是具有显著工作效率的活动家，但是他们持久兴备只停留在感兴趣的事上，如果对这个事业没有兴趣，他们就会感到无聊，在与兴趣不符合的时候，很难完成自己想做的事情。粘液质相当于安静型，粘液质的人最适合从事有条理、持久性的工作，其缺点是不够灵活，有明显的惰性。由于不够灵活，故在集中注意力或转移注意力到别的事情的时候就需要时间。惰性使他们的创造性差，比较守旧。巴甫洛夫说，这种人是安祥的，是平衡的、坚定的、顽强的实际工作者。

抑郁质相当于懦弱型。抑郁质的人为人小心谨慎，思考透彻，在困难面前容易优柔寡断。抑郁质的人一般表现为行为孤僻、不太合群、观察细致、非常敏感、表情腼腆、多愁善感、行动迟缓、优柔寡断，具有明显的内倾性。认识自己，了解他人，善待生命，尊重生命，尊重他人也尊重自己的生命，是生命进程中的伴随物，也是心理健康的表现。让健康的心理开出美丽的花朵装点出最美的世即不为失去太阳而抱怨，只为拥有星星而乐观。

我最盼望的日子——春节终于来到了，因为在这喜庆的节日里，我们小孩子有好东西吃，有新衣服穿，有压岁钱花，有小伙伴玩？？最让我感到快乐的还是给乡亲们拜年了。

大年初一的三四点钟，我就迫不及待地催爸爸起来了。（我们这里的风俗是新年第一天有家里的男主人放开门鞭和烧团圆饭）好不容易等到喝完团圆茶后，我就找了几个方便袋迫不及待地准备出发了。妈妈开玩笑地说：“家里买了这么多好吃的，还不够你这只馋猫吃的！”唉！老妈，你怎会懂得儿子的心思呢，我这不是给乡亲们拜年，为他们送上新春祝福吗！我一溜烟跑到了村子的西头，与早已等候在那里的小伙伴汇合，便开始给乡亲们拜年了。

What I plan is listening to the MP3 in order to imitate the foreigners’ accent and speak more in English. At the same time, I will do a lot of News dictation and English listening and comprehension to improve my skills. Secondly, to prepare the CET4 and the 2014National English Contest for College Students, I intend to memorize all the words in my vocabulary book within two or three months and finish my exercise books. In the three days trip in Shenzhen， I was interested in the central and southern part of the city， which are the heavens for most visitors。

The spring festival is Chinese most traditional festival every 365 days. Each Chinesepay much attention on it. Every year about 15 days before spring festival， themigrate works and white-collars are beginning crowded home-returning.

But， in recent years， with the development of the world， many different attitudes between the young and the old towards the spring festival come forth. The old are still pay more attention to the spring festival， but the young gradually change the mode to spend their spring festival holiday， such as travel overseas.

When I am a childhood， I celebrated the spring festival with my family about amonth in my winter vacation in traditional way， such as helping cleaning our houses， putting red couplets on gates， setting off firecrackers， and wear new clothes. Now， I spend only 4 or 5 days at home with my parents in celebrating thespring festival， then I will hurry back to work. Maybe in the near future， I will have no time celebrating spring festival hometown， and my parents have to cometo stay with us in the city.

Whether or no， I like the spring festival. It is one of the most important part of our Chinese culture. However busy I am， I will try my best to celebrating it with thetraditional way to protect those our ancestor has leave behind.

新学期开学之际，学校组织我们观看消防安全知识讲座，强化学生们的消防安全观念。虽然没经历过什么大的火灾，但是“防患于未然”总是有必要的。实际上，平时不加以注意和当心，火灾也许就在我们身边。可能引起火灾的原因非常多，比如电器使用不当、随意燃放鞭炮、乱玩火，甚至雷击等都有可能引起火灾。上面有提到火灾可能由“我”导致，有可能由自然因素引发，也有可能被动的陷入火灾现场中，所以我们不仅要自己注意平时不安全的举动，还要学习遇到火灾，如何处理，如何逃生。

小时候，家里爱使用煤气炉在家里烤火，烤衣服，就为了衣服干得快，直到一次，发生了可怕的事情。一天，一堆的衣物等等又像往常一样，挂在火炉上方。其中一条毛巾干了之后，被上升的热气流掀飞，还被火炉引燃了。好在毛巾最终燃烧的位置离可燃物和煤气管道有一定距离，才没有造成严重的后果。事后回想，当时无人及时发现，若引燃其它物品，后果不堪设想！之后就十分小心地使用火炉，再也不用来烘衣物了。

千里之堤，毁于蚁穴，可见，表面上一切安好，其实稍有不慎就会造成严重损失。损失财务，甚至生命，都是人们不愿意看到的。但苦果一旦造成，只会留下无尽的悔恨。

就我们学生宿舍来说，人员密集，平时接触电器较多，各个宿舍好像也没有几个不通电的，所平时注意用电安全是相当重要的。各式充电器，电脑，各种排插，乃至“热得快”等等，可能会因为各种问题，引发危险。平时就要看好设备，注意用电安全。比如不要超负荷使用插座，不随意私改线路。

当陷入火灾中，首先就是绝对不能慌乱，尽管这很难，也听了无数遍。但大家都明白，如果你不能保持清醒的头脑，就算平时看了再多安全宣传片，到时又能起多大作用呢？对应火灾中可能遇到的各种情况，在观看的视频当中已经介绍了不少应急办法。有浓烟出现，应尽量俯身行走，用湿毛巾捂住口鼻，因为在火灾中，被浓烟熏倒的情况非常多；身上衣服着火，切勿狂奔逃命，让同伴帮忙覆盖压灭火焰，在地上打滚是不错的办法；如果可以的话，记得不要扔下他人，帮助他们逃离火场，毕竟换做是你被困，你也会希望别人这么做的，当然，量力而行；发现火情要及时报警并向他人发出警告，这不是什么最佳动作游戏，并非需要个人英雄主义。就算是非要跳楼不可，视频里也有良策献出。就是方法虽好，条件往往不允许。。家里没那么长的棍子。

这只是一次平常的安全教育讲座，可能看完了，颇有感触。过个两月，又抛之脑后了。良好的安全习惯应该贯穿生活中每个细节，因为惨剧无法挽回，所以是由不得侥幸心理的。只有充分认识到火灾的危害性，才能将消防安全的重要性牢记心中。保持清醒的头脑，学会自救，从而救大家，让灾难变得并不可怕！

It is reported that ten big cities in China are being  among the top twenty cities with the highest pollution index in the world. This means it is high time we did something to bring the situation under control.

Many factors are  to the deteriorating situation: industrial wastes pumped into the air, the lakes and rivers; a increasing number of automobiles crowding into the streets; the  use of plastic bags etc.

To my view, stiffer laws and regulations must be implemented to check pollution. Industries that release wastes without  should be heavily fined. Cars should be equipped to minimize the exhaust they release into the air. And the use of plastic bags and disposable meal boxes should be banned. What’s more, the media should play an important role in implanting a sense

of consciousness into people’s mind.

If everybody works toward a common goal of making the environment better, we can create a cleaner and lovelier world for us and for the coming generation.

Dream is a beautiful word. I like it very much. I think everyone has a eternal dream.Because dream is important for us.

My dream is to be a teacher. Because teacher can teach students. And teach themknowledge. When I see their smile, I will be happy. Our teacher are kind to us. So Iwill be kind to my students. Our teacher often and we make fun of. We loved to playjokes on our teacher, too .I think teacher is a good job. Because it’s very interesting.If I want to be a teacher when I grow up, I must study hard. I often read Englishbooks. And in all the subject, I like English the best. So I am becoming an Englishteacher.

This is my dream. Although it’s very small and impossible, I believe as long as Iwork hard at it, I will be realized. Then what is your dream?
