I was a very bookish fourth grader, and Christmas was coming, so what I

wanted this time: a big pile of books.

I was a smart, reading kid who was consistently in the top ten of my class.

Books were my best friend. Remember once, I ordered the second class did not

便利的交通，早已成为我们忙碌的生活中不可或缺的一部分。因为它，我们生活的节奏更加富有动感。但是，随着人们生活水平的不断提高，交通事故层出不穷，不知不觉中，它已成为了威胁人类生命安全的一大隐患。

星期五下午的2点30分，班主任王老师带领这我们到阶梯教室里听了一场有关《交通安全》的讲座，它让我受益匪浅。

在讲座的开始之前，交警叔叔先给我们每人发了一张有关于非机动车交通安全的读物。这张薄薄的纸虽然不大，但却是“麻雀虽小，五脏俱全”。里面集中了15个要点，还有字有画，使同学们对此了解得更加透彻。接着，警察叔叔便开始了对我们的教导。大荧幕播放了一段录像，大概讲的就是一个小女孩因为直穿马路，被飞驰而来的一辆绿色大卡车撞倒，而引发了一场交通事故。从此这个小女孩便失去了她快乐的童年——一条腿变成了一根冷冷的拐杖。看完后，在场的不少同学悄悄地叹了一口气，为这个小女孩感到悲伤。之后，交警叔叔又向我们讲述了马路上汽车的“丰功伟绩”，那一个个天文数字让我们唏嘘不已，同学们都张大了嘴巴，不敢相信这残酷的事实。随后，他又给我们看了几篇用动漫人物制作而成的“交通事故”，让我们在开怀大笑的同时，也从其中认识到了交通安全的重要性。

讲座结束后，原来不重视交通安全的我渐渐变得注意起来了。我想，交通事故并不是人们刻意引发的，是司机的一时疏忽而酿成的大祸。当然，也并不全是司机一个人的错，受害者也有责任，如果不是他们闯红灯，如果不是他们不走斑马线，如果不是他们直穿马路，也就不会有这么悲剧的发生，不会有这么多条无辜的生命白白葬送……

我深信，只要人们遵守交通规则，把安全第一谨记在自己心中，就不会再发生如此之多的交通事故了。我们的世界也会变得更美好！

At my school, we had a charity sale last week

The charity sale was held on our school playground last Saturday morning.

We prepared many things which were made by hand in our spare time, such as

kites, model planes and so on. They looked very beautiful. We also brought old

toys and second-hand books to sell on the sale. At 8：30, the activity started.

Many students and teachers came to take part in it. Everyone chose their

favorite items and paid for them at a much lower price. In the end, the money we

made added up to over 2,000.

We sent the money to the community to help children who couldnt attend

school and the seniors who needed better care.

I had a wonderful experience. Im proud of what we have done. If everyone

makes a contribution to the charity, the world will become much better.

给我们上课的是我的同学董家如的爸爸，董叔叔是一名中医，他对中医非常有研究，也是一个非常出名的医生。

董叔叔先给我们讲了秀才学医，笼中抓鸡的故事。古时有一句逗笑的话，叫做“秀才学医，笼中捉鸡”，是说那些无缘跨上仕途的穷秀才们为了谋生转而学医，很快就能够入门，成为不错的医生，在我们现在的阶段是小学—初中—高中—大学，而古代是童生—秀才—举人—世七。使我知道了，古代人比我们现代的人学问要求的更高。

接着家如爸爸又给我们讲了三皇五帝，伏羲氏，轩辕氏，皇帝，《黄帝内经》，种农氏（炎帝），《神农本草经》。最让我们吃惊的是，古代人的年龄，有人活到120岁以上，他是养生家，预防家。商朝的伊尹，他活了100岁，是大医学家，也是伊吕两衰翁的其中之一，周朝的姜子牙，厨师始祖，是中药汤液的发明人，他活了139岁，也是大养生家。叔叔还告诉我们萝卜有很多好处，青萝卜可以疏肝理气，红萝卜可以通脉，黄萝卜可以补气健脾，白萝卜润肺止咳，原来萝卜有这么多的好处，我一直都不喜欢吃它，以后我要改改我的这个坏习惯改了。

最后叔叔还给我们每人发了一个黄连，它的样子像冬天小树枝，舔舔真的是非常的苦，不禁让我想起了那句歇后语，小孩吃黄连——叫苦连天，我真的好想叫。

这节课我学到了知识很多，让我受益匪浅。

青春期是人体由童年发育到成人的过渡时期，这一时间人体的形态和某些器官的结构功能都有着显著的变化。

对女孩儿来说生理卫生和健康保健是很重要，保持卫生，要做到以下几点。一，保持清洁，月经期不盆浴，不游泳。二，月经期用品干净专用。三，注意不吃冷辣食物。

在青春期，我们也会出现许多变化如外形变化，声音变化，机能变化等等。

It is reported that ten big cities in China are being  among the top twenty cities with the highest pollution index in the world. This means it is high time we did something to bring the situation under control.

Many factors are  to the deteriorating situation: industrial wastes pumped into the air, the lakes and rivers; a increasing number of automobiles crowding into the streets; the  use of plastic bags etc.

To my view, stiffer laws and regulations must be implemented to check pollution. Industries that release wastes without  should be heavily fined. Cars should be equipped to minimize the exhaust they release into the air. And the use of plastic bags and disposable meal boxes should be banned. What’s more, the media should play an important role in implanting a sense

of consciousness into people’s mind.

If everybody works toward a common goal of making the environment better, we can create a cleaner and lovelier world for us and for the coming generation.

The zoo is the most interesting place that I have ever seen in my whole

life。 It is like a garden which shows (exhibits) various kinds of animals， birds

and insects。

This winter vacation, I with my parents to the eastern suburbs Xuelianshan ski skiing.

I decided to try on the flat and smooth, usually the legs move freely at the moment but butingshihuan, like lead, good effort! As an engineering student majoring in environmental systems, I have strong awareness of the environment and want to work in the field of environmental protection. There are three feasible ways, in my opinion, which can raise public awareness of our surrounding environment. Firstly, the appropriate education in schools can be applied to build our concept on the importance of environment and it should be taken good care. Secondly, more and more green or environmental promotions should be carried out. For example, use public transportation more frequently instead of private vehicles; print double-sided instead of one-sided to save papers. Furthermore, researches on clean energy and sustainable development should be enhanced. The natural resources on earth is not infinite and we should seek for a better method to protect our circumstance in the long run.

should copy his sprit as our daily life goes instead of uttering a meaningless

slogan “learn from Leifeng, our decent idol”, so that we could definitely see a

lot more smiling faces rather than conflict.

To help others is not a hard thing, however, what you need is to consist

doing it. Take myself as an example. I am the representative of Math, to collect

homework is my daily task, however, I would turn them to the right page for

shorten the time for teachers when correcting them.

Leifeng as our model and copy his spirit.
