Just as is revealed in the picture above, the young, nowadays, just like the boy in the drawing, are prone to reach for what is beyond their grasp, but ignore the significance of doing something trivial and simple before accomplishing great feats。

There is no doubt that the symbolic meaning subtly conveyed in the picture should be given deep consideration. As we all know, a man who does not sweep a room, doesnt mention to sweep the world. In other words, the foundations of a building must be strong, or else the whole structure will fall down someday. Therefore, when it comes to the key to success, the most important thing lies in doing every tiny thing well around you。

As the saying goes, “the highest eminence is to be gained step by step。” To achieve the goal, not merely do we need ambition; we also need to realize the importance of dealing with triviality from the beginning. Only in this way can we get on the way to success down to earth.

节约一粒米，能让更多人避免饥饿；节约一粒米，能够让更多人感受到它的甘甜；节约一度电，能让更多人感受光明；结约一张纸，能让更多人谱写更美好的未来。

米——为人们使用的主食。它喂养我们，让我们能够获得源源不断的营养与健康，它与我们之间有着不可切割的关系，没有了它，我们无法存活于世。但是，又不知道有多少难民与饥饿斗争着？它们饱受饥饿的折磨啊！

水——像母亲一样哺育我们，任何生物都离不开水的滋养，它纯洁甘甜，我们离不开它，也不能离开它。孰知？还有多少难区闹旱灾。孰知？他们没有水的痛苦如处于水深火热之中。

电——带给我们光明。光明是我们共同所求的，也是郝副营长的愿望，他为了我们能够在这幸福、光亮的环境下学习，他牺牲了自己。却，不知多少人浪费这样优越的环境？与那只用得起煤油灯的学习人士相比，我们愧不敢当哪？

纸——记载着千万个故事。纸以我们亲爱的朋友——大树为材料制成。白纸黑字记录着点点滴滴，不知多少人浪费过多少纸？不知多少人却用那纸谱写更灿烂的明天？

拒绝铺张浪费！

有首古诗“锄禾日当午，汗滴禾下土。谁知盘中餐，粒粒皆辛苦。”农民伯伯辛勤种植，我们吃的那一粒粒米，都灌溉了他们的汗水，当我们每个人都浪费一小粒米，就是在浪费农民伯伯付出的心血。

水是圣洁的，我们都需要它的滋养。为了我们能够享受它带给我们的甘甜，我们应该像对待亲人一样去对待它们。让水的甘甜洒满大地，洒满人的心田，不让它受到任何的破坏，为了它，更是为了我们。

电是生活中不可或缺的一部分。少了他，我们将处于黑暗中，我们的生活将会失去秩序。让电的光明带给更多人去方便更多事。最最重要的是，让电给我光亮的学习环境。

纸，在生活中随处可见。纸好像人的思想，纸是白的，可以让人们发挥想象，尽情诉写。在学习中，他必不可少。宁可让人们用它来做有意义的事，也不愿让人浪费，成为破坏环境的一份子。

为了我们能够感受米的香醇，为了难民能够不受饥饿的折磨，请您节约吧！为了万物能够感受水的甘甜，为了难民不受旱灾的要挟，请您节约吧！为了人们能够在光亮下更好地生活，为了更多学习人士更好地发奋图强，请您节约吧！为了让纸能够记录更多更美好的故事，为了更多人谱写更精彩的诗篇，还在请您节约吧！节约无小事，却从小事做起！

“锄禾日当午，汗滴禾下土，谁知盘中餐，粒粒皆辛苦。”这首诗一定谁都会背吧，可又有多少人能真正明白其意思呢？

记得前几天，我上完英语回家，刚进家门，就听见老妈在房间里大声喊：“赵奕凯，你给我过来。”我吓得面如土色，不知犯了什么滔天大罪，让老妈这样的勃然大怒。我走进房间，老妈问我知不知道做错了什么事，我绞尽脑汁，怎么也想不起来。老妈问我床底下那几个杯子是怎么回事。我想：不好，被老妈知道了肯定要被臭骂一顿了。我撒谎说“不记得了，”老妈厉声说：“你的床底下到底藏了什么？”我只好承认说：“我放了一些饭和菜。”

事情是这样的，因为我吃饭吃得慢，前几次因为胃口不好，不想吃饭，本想把饭菜倒进垃圾桶里，又怕被发现挨骂，于是趁老妈不注意用一次性杯子装好藏在我自己房间的一个角落。自以为做得天衣无缝，可终究纸包不住火，还是被老妈发现了，看着老妈那严厉的表情，我吓坏了，赶紧承认了自己的错误，接着妈妈语重心长的教育我，说农民伯伯种地如何辛苦，现在还有多少人在挨饿，我们应该节约粮食，珍惜每一粒粮食。

我听了，脸涨得通红，惭愧的低下了头。

经过这一次的教训，我懂得了节约粮食，应该从自己做起，我也想大声对人们说：“让我们大家一起珍惜粮食吧！
