回想小时侯，我每次写寒暑假作业都是在寒暑假的最后半个月的最后几天完成的。为什么呢?是因为我当时的作业太多?还是因为我有什么事情而耽误了时间?都不是。就是因为我当时不好好节约时间，没有好好安排自己的时间，在一开始的时候总是玩，每天只作一点作业，直到最后才开始进行突击。正因为这样，我的一二年级的每个寒暑假都过不好，都是一个带有遗憾的假期。

大家可以想一想，有多少人因为浪费了时间而后悔莫及，又有多少人因为没有好好珍惜自己的时间，而错过了很多事。“如果当时安排好自己的时间就好了!”，“如果当时能节约时间就好了”有些人会这样说。但是，时间是不会倒流的，与其这样后悔，不如现在开始，从我做起，节约时间!

那天，我从电视上看到北京市一位退休老奶奶，60岁，可节约了。她早上洗脸后的水，用盆子装好，再用来拖地，拖完地后剩下的水，再用来浇花。节约是我们中华民族的传统美德。如果我们每个人都像老奶奶一样，节约每一滴水，我国水资源就不会缺乏了。

晚上，我把这件事告诉了爸爸妈妈，妈妈听了以后，很有感触的说：“是啊，节约用水，应该从我们每一个人做起。”
