In order to protect water, lets do something to fight against all kinds of pollution and waste of water.

一、学习电的知识，了解我国电力紧张的现状，探索火力发电与环境保护之间的关系，认识到节约用电的重要性和紧迫性。

二、从身边开始，从自己做起，做好节约用电随手可做的十件小事：

出门时随手关闭电源；阳光充足时不要开灯；使用浴霸或电热水器洗澡时动作要迅速，不边洗边玩；减少开关冰箱的次数，存取食品后尽快关闭冰箱门；尽量使用太阳能产品和节能灯泡等节能家电；不要无休止地听音乐、玩电脑游戏、看电视等；夏天空调温度不要设置得太低；减少发短信的次数，尽可能地少用电话聊天或问作业；每天１８∶００至２２∶００是用电高峰时段，尽量避开用电高峰使用空调、电加热器等高耗能家电；在家里装修时，建议爸爸妈妈安装双层玻璃，减少热（冷）量的损耗。

三、争当节电宣传员和监督员。积极宣传节约用电的意义，看到浪费电的行为及时劝阻，让更多的人和我们一样懂得节电的重要性，共同节约电资源。

全国的中学生朋友们，让我们携起手来同心协力，节约每一度电，减少一份污染，保存一份资源。

节约是我们中华民族的传统美德，如果我们每个人都能从身边的小事做起，节约每一滴水，我国水资源就不会缺乏了。

国家地球熄灯日，是每年3月最后一个星期六的20点30分到21点30分。一个普普通通的日子里，普普通通的一小时时间，我们却可以用我们的实际行动，为保护地球母亲做些节约节能事情。为地球熄灯1小时，让我们大家一起行动起来吧！

关于节约节能，我要用实际行动来证明我的决心。于是，我制定了下面关于节约节能的计划如下：第一点，首先家里要用节能型电器，省钱又节能环保。如：节能型空调，节能电灯。第二点，家用水要第二次循环利用起来，坚决不浪费，节约每一滴水。第三点，不要经常开关电视，电脑。

同学们，让我们大家行动起来吧！保护环境，从身边小事做起，让我们大家一起来一场节约节能的大计划吧！

首先当美好的早晨来临：

一、我们将窗帘打开让阳光照进来，增加室内的明亮度，就可以不用开灯。

二、家里的电源出门全部按“关”可节省用电。

三、开饮机煮沸后，调到保温后也可以省下用电量喔!

四、洗完衣物后，利用自然风或阳光，晒干衣物，避免使用烘干机。

五、尽量不吹空调，若是要开空调，也要调到二十八度左右，再搭配电风扇，让室内温度循环。

六、出门多走路，又可健身。

七、搭乘交通运输工具或骑脚踏车，减少开车。

除了节约用电也要节约用水喔!当然有很多时候我们都可以做到，像是洗米水可用来洗碗，洗脸的水可用来沖马桶，洗水果的水可以用来浇花，洗衣服的水可用来拖地……等等。

如果我们希望有美好的大自然，可以呼吸到新鲜的空气，想听到虫鸣鸟叫声，想在田野大步奔跑，可以看到稀有动物和植物，那么我们一定要做到保护大自然，爱惜资源。节约用电与节约用水，希望不是口号，随便讲讲而已，一定要记得身体力行喔!

Our school has started a program of garbage classification. Different kinds of garbage are required to be sorted out and placed in different dustbins. 我从报章杂志上得知发现的地表油气已越来越少了，为了获得更多的油气资源，石油地质学家必须要深入地下深处找寻油源，是一件艰辛万苦的工作。使用石油的优点是它经提炼加工后，可生产许多产品，例如：溶剂、油漆、沥青、塑胶、合成胶、纤维、肥皂、清洁剂、蜡、胶状物、药品、炸药以及肥料等都是由石油做成的。可是过度使用石油会排放污染大气层的有害物体，现在全国各地面临环境恶化的日增，政治上却仍没有任何因应对策。曾经有两家公司在俄国总理普丁见证下，于度假胜地素溪签订合约，双方将投资二十二亿美元，探勘北极圈喀拉海油田，这两家公司只为了石油资源的利益，却忘记现在要好好保护地球，呼吁人类应重视环境的生态危机，宣示和督促政府确实推动环保政策与落实环保工作。

地球只有一个，我们要好好的保护它，不要再任意浪费资源，让我们尽心尽力一起拯救地球而努力吧!

大家不要以为一滴汽油无足轻重，无数个发动机节约每一滴油，将汇成一条芬芳的河流;不要以为几十瓦的灯泡默默的亮着无关紧要，亿万只手把它熄灭将托起一轮崭新的太阳;不要以为水龙头开着时一滴一滴的水浪费掉无足轻重，你可知道这一滴一滴水如果节省起来，也可汇成涓涓细流，所以请大家伸出节水之手来关掉水龙头;当你把香喷喷的饭菜吃剩下到掉时，你就没想到这一粒米饭到餐桌上的艰辛，从农民伯伯把它种在地里，经过精心照料，到秋天收获，在经白般筛选，把一粒粒米放入锅中，经过天然气的烹调，才可以端上才桌，真可谓是“来之不易”呀!

亲爱的同学们，让我们一起来学习有关能源的知识，掌握节能的技能，养成节约能源的习惯，同时用我们的行动来影响家人、影响周围的每一个人吧!

因此，在这里郑重地提出我们的倡议：

1.制定节能计划，掌握节能的知识和技能，从我做起，从节约一度电、一滴油、一滴水、一粒粮食做起。

2.养成随手关灯，节约用电的好习惯。

3.合理使用电器。

4.购买和使用有节能标志的家用电器和节能照明设备，提高能源使用效率。

5.尽量使用公共交通工具，节省能源，保护环境。

让我们携起手来，节约能源，从我做起，从身边做起!

Mayor Bloomberg has been the mayor of New York City for nearly nine years, but for ten years he has been wearing the same shoes. This is really rare to be seen on a billionaire.

“The mayor owns two pairs of work shoes,” said the spokesman. “One day he’ll wear one, the next the other. When they got worn down, he has them repaired. He could buy any shoes he wanted, but he says since they are comfortable, and they work, there’s no need for a new pair.” According to the spokesman, the mayor saves in his footwear and he also keeps it up in his personal as well as governmental finance. “When he buys a cup of coffee, he chooses the smallest size. He buys only what he needs.”

Such is the mayor of New York City, who cares little about his shoes, avoids wasting money and focuses his attention on his work and his people in the city.

But what about our fellow students nowadays? Some wear super expensive clothes and shoes; besides, they buy as many as possible, far more than two pairs. They always want the latest, the newest and throw the old ones away though they haven’t worn them for many times.

The author introduces to us the mayor of New York City, a man who is rich but provident. The author also points out nowadays some students have the habit of wasting things.

When reading the passage, I am deeply moved by the mayor. Rich as he is, he has the virtue of saving. He spends money only on what he needs and never wastes money on what is of no use. I think this is really admirable.

The mayor reminds me of the great political leader of China, Chairman Mao. As the chairman of China, Mao led a very thrifty life. He used to wear old clothes at home. When his clothes were worn out, he would have them repaired and continued to wear them. He always told others that saving was a good virtue of Chinese people.

Thinking about the two great leaders, I feel deeply ashamed. As a young student who still has to depend on my parents, I have been leading too comfortable a life. I buy whatever I like though I don’t really need them. Besides, I like new things; when things get “old”, I tend to begin to dislike them and stop using them. Now that I realize that this is wrong, I’m determined that I shall follow the examples of the two great leaders and start to get rid of the bad habits.

Maybe the last water is our tears

As we know water is made up of our life,we could not leave without water.No water will no we.

Water is needed more and more,because our industry and agriculture produce developed fast.Somewhere water are scare,and some rivers are no water in them.But just little water is polluted,more waste water did not handled and discharge into river.

Around us there are a lot of students dont pay attention to save water,for example: after they washing their face and rinsing the mouth,they dont turn off the water tap .Let the water flowing day and night. What a pity!
