我的家乡以前山清水秀，鸟语花香。但人们为了种植茶叶，把大树一棵地砍了下来，导致了多次干旱和无雨。刚把茶叶种下去，就出现了很多不知名的害虫横行霸道地吃茶叶，人们忍无可忍，加重了农药喷射，使茶叶上有了很多致命的病毒。再看看家门口的小溪，以前鱼虾遍地，可现在垃圾往溪里扔，污染了溪水。鱼虾们死的死，伤的伤，最后连一只鱼、一只虾都无影无踪了。溪水已经变得浑浊不堪，黑乎乎的，散出一阵难闻的恶臭，想到人们以前在水里游泳、洗菜，可现在人们只要经过小溪，就就会不约而同的捂住鼻子，快速离开小溪边。

现在，人们已经意识到了周围的环境了，人民政府通过电视和广播告诉人们不要使用一次性筷子、不要使用塑料垃圾袋、包装袋，还启用了一种奖罚活动，栽一颗大树奖十元，砍一棵大树罚十元。还告诉人们不要破坏大自然，否则会遭到大自然的报复等。人们下定决心不再破坏环境了，还要保护环境。

在短短几年内。小溪变得干净、清澈，清得能看见最底下的石头和石上下的小鱼和小虾，山上的树木郁郁葱葱，小鸟蹦蹦跳跳地在枝头唱歌，害虫也不来我们这歇脚了，他们似乎明白这里不再是他们的天下了，家乡的草绿油油的，上面开着五颜六色的小野花，从远处看，他就像一块绣着花纹的地毯。

人们笑了，大自然也笑了，他们笑得真开心啊……
