我家有许多长相奇特、外形美观的花。在这些花里面，我最喜欢罗汉花。

春天，光秃秃的枝干上，长出了一颗颗绿油油的新芽。它小小的叶芽上有些粗糙，但它们还是蓬勃焕发，充满朝气。它们虽然小的可怜，但整个枝干从光秃秃到有了绿油油的颜色。

盛夏，新叶变的很大很大，层层叶子都绿的闪闪发光，它们相衬相映变化多端，而且很有规律，假如这片叶子向左长，另一片就向右长互不遮挡，阳光吸收都很充足，真是“团结一致”。

深秋，花蕾含苞待放，个个圆鼓的，像一个个小胖子一样。你只要细细品味，还能闻到一股清香醉人的味道，花苞像一个个毛笔头一样，上面有淡淡的红色，底部非常洁白。这些“毛笔头”旁边有许多叶片给予衬托，看上去，像一个拇指姑娘在沉睡呢!

寒冬，许多花儿枯萎凋谢了，但罗汉花却在寒冬里高高挺立，火红的花瓣代表着热情，好似冬天中的一把火，尽情燃烧，像一位少女亭亭玉立在寒冬里，它那不怕风霜的品格，铭刻在我的脑海中。冬雪过后，它披上了一件美丽洁白的衣服，但遮不住它那闪光的品格。

真不愧是“十八罗汉，下雪冒汗”呀!我喜欢罗汉花，爱它那美丽的花瓣，更爱它那闪光的品格。

I suppose I saw us and our relationship as aging together, rather like a fine wine. Numbers never seemed important. But the oddest thing happened last week. I was at a stop sign and I watched as you turned the corner in your car. It didnt immediately occur to me that it was you because the man driving looked so elderly and fragile behind the wheel of that huge car. It was rather like a slap in the face delivered from out of nowhere. Perhaps I saw your age for the first time that day. Or maybe I saw my own.

Somewhere along the line, the generation gap evaporated. Age separates us now and little else. We agree on most everything, perhaps because weve learned there isnt much worth disagreeing about. However, I would like to mention that fly fishing isnt all youve cracked it up to be, Dad. You can say what you want about wrist action and stance and blah, blah, blah...

In China, there are four seasons in a year, spring, summer, autumn and winter. Summer is hot and winter is cold. Spring and autumn are comfortable. Spring lasts from March to May. Summers goes from June to August. From September to November is autumn. At last is winter, from December to February. Among the four seasons in a year, I like winter most.

中国一年又四个季节，春、夏、秋、冬。夏天很热，冬天很冷，春天和秋天最舒适。春天从三月开始，持续到五月。夏天是从六月到八月。九月到十一月是秋天。最后是冬天，从十二月到二月。这四个季节当中，我最喜欢的是冬天。

Panda is the most lovely animal in the world. It is treated as the national treasure. Everybody loves panda. It has round body shape and black eyes. There are many countries renting the panda and they are proud of it. People from other countries come to the animal zoo to witness this lovely creature. At the same time, we should protect the environment, so as to protect panda.

到了夏天，荷花也从水里直起身来，池塘里的荷叶很多，一片挤一片，没有一点地方可以看到下面的水。碧绿碧绿的，在一片片荷叶的中间，一朵孤零零的荷花站在那里，显得特别耀眼。粉红色的荷花，就像一个害羞的小姑娘一样躲在荷叶中间，不想被别人发现。看就了这样一个景象，就让我想到了宋朝诗人杨万里写的“接天莲叶无穷碧，映日荷花别样红。”

秋天，桂花开了。一朵朵的非常小，也非常多。小小的桂花组成了大大的一朵。也非常漂亮。桂花的颜色是金黄色的，有点像油菜花。一棵桂花树，就会有许多密密麻麻的小桂花，数也数不清。看到了这番迷人的情景，就让我记起了唐朝诗人王建说的“中庭地白树栖鸦，冷落无声湿桂花。”

冬天，许多花都很害怕，被雪压在了下面，可是，在大雪纷飞的日子里，梅花却从雪地里探出头来，往窗外瞧，隐隐约约可以看见红色的梅花，坚强地从雪花中站起来，还穿上了白色的棉袄，不怕冷，梅花这样的精神，让王安石不禁赞叹，“墙角数枝梅，凌寒独自开，遥知不是雪，唯有暗香来。”

我喜欢鲜红的桃花，粉红的荷花，可爱的桂花，坚强的梅花，它们从不骄傲。

People can go to farms in the countryside and pick apples, bananas, oranges… I like autumn too, because it is a season of results!

Winter is very cold and windy. Sometimes I can make snowmen. I usually run and jump in the winter, Nan Tong’s winter is as cold as in Shanghai, but it is colder in Beijing than in Nan Tong.
