“哈哈哈”，上课的时候，全班突兀地发出一阵大笑，正在讲课的老师涨红了脸，愤怒地瞪向扬扬得意的我，转而叹了一口气，面向黑板，一言不发。原来，是我在老师讲课时，趁老师口误，立刻大放厥词，好不容易抓住老师的小辫子，这个机会我可不能放过。于是，我的俏皮话引来了哄堂大笑。

中午睡觉前，班主任将我找来，说要跟我谈话，我知道又是因为上午那次插嘴。班主任拍拍我的肩头，语重心长地对我说：“我知道你成绩很好，但是你如果上课插嘴，是会影响他人的，况且现在离小升初已经不远了，我希望你不要将这习惯带到初中去”那时，我不以为然，自以为成绩出类拔萃，这点瑕疵又算什么?于是继续我行我素。

小升初，我以优异的成绩考上了一所理想学校的公办班，在这个班里混合了全市的精英学子，我由“天之骄子”变得“泯然众矣”了，最后甚至“得为众人而已耶?”可我的坏习惯依旧未改，为此，老师曾多次批评我。

一天晚上，我又因同样的问题被老师数落了一顿，闷闷不乐地回到了座位上，忽然觉得，我应该改变自己了，可我又不知该如何改变，忽然想起王勃的名句无猖狂以自彰，当阴沉以自深，这不正是指引我今后的道路吗?我左思右想，最后决定，上课我应认真听讲，更重要的是，我应当不以成绩骄人，当稳重，不浮夸。

从此，我没有了插嘴，改变了捉短，放弃了浮夸，成绩也自然上升了，虽说我不是那些“方仲永”们的对手，但我坚信，人生如下棋，深谋远虑者必获胜。

稳重做人，踏实做事。成长的路上，需要稳重，要想壮志凌云，先要脚踏实地。

植物，不论高大亦或矮小，不论生命长久还是短暂，因为有根的支持，它们自由地生长，尽情地享受阳光的呵护，雨露的滋润，鸟兽的热爱，极尽一切大自然的恩惠。

根是植物生命的基础，生长的源泉。

沙漠里的植物，矮小，但它们终究在这恶劣的环境中活了下来。因为根，延伸至地下几百米的土层中，寻着水源，维持着这颗小生命。

被刈割的小草，在不久又会冒出新绿，因为枝叶虽被摧残，但根尚在，生命即尚在，只要根不尽，生命终将延续。

植物的根是伟大的。那么家根、国根呢?

家，就是我们的根。有家，才有我们完整的人生，家给予我们默默无闻的爱，这种爱如深藏地下的根一样。当遭受挫折时，当心灰意冷时。是爱，在无形中支撑着我们，指引着我们，走下去，走下去，走过那段风雨飘摇的日子，走向生命中光明的道路。

家，让我们有丝丝缕缕的思念。而这思念如交错相连的根一样。当你身处他乡，当你漂泊流荡，当你孤独一人时，是思念，伴你度过一个又一个绵长而幽远的黑夜，丰盈着你那颗孤独的心。

家是最终的归宿，是生命航船停靠的最温暖，最安全，平静的港湾。

海外游子，无时无刻不企盼着回到祖国。因为祖国才是他们的根。“在外漂泊久了，是该回家的时候了。”这是一位老华人说的。是啊，外面的世界纵然精彩，但最温馨的莫过于自己的祖国了。

“小时候，乡愁一枚小小的邮票，我在这头，母亲在那头。……乡愁是一湾浅浅的海峡，我在这头，大陆在那头。”余光中老先生的这首诗，道出了仅一水相隔的台湾人民的心声。台湾，半个世纪未归家的孩子，回来吧。大陆母亲张开温暖博大的胸怀时刻等着你，等着你的到来。我们知道你会回来的，因为你的根在这，在中国。

五十六个民族，五十六支花，朵朵开在中国大地上。我们共同汲取中国母亲的乳汁长大。我们的母亲是最伟大的母亲，她无微不至地呵护我们，让我们健康成长。五十六朵花儿齐开放，鲜艳的色彩，共同装扮着这个美丽的家园。我的祖国母亲，扎根于你的土地上，是我无悔的选择。

祖国啊，你是我的根，是我生命的基础，是我力量的源泉。
