传说佛祖释迦牟尼在成佛前，因忍看着生经历生老病死之苦，离开了自己的宫殿，修行入道，但是释迦牟尼苦苦修行多年仍然一无所获。一天他想到河中沐浴，清醒一下头脑，沐浴过后却因身体羸弱，无力爬回岸上。这时一位牧女从旁边经过，将他拉上岸，牧女的名字叫苏耶妲（即为善生的意思），苏耶妲给他了一碗用米、栗等熬的粥。佛祖吃后精力充沛，来到菩提树下幡然觉悟。这一天恰巧是农历十二月初八。从此以后，佛门弟子将腊八这一天称为“佛成道节”，同时在腊八节这一天，将粥视为良药，寺庙每年在腊八这天以粥供佛，并向世人布施。受此影响，我国民间也逐渐形成了腊八节吃粥的习俗。

说完这个传说故事，腊八粥也好了，奶奶给我盛了一碗香气扑鼻的腊八粥，我一看有粳米、花生、红枣、莲子、葡萄干、板栗、桂圆、红豆……，我赶紧吃了一口，真香啊！真甜啊！奶奶说：“腊八节还有一层意思是祭祀祖先和神灵，祈求丰收和吉祥的节日。你今天考试，希望你能考出个好成绩，也来一个大丰收。”我点了点头，就冲这个美味的腊八粥我也要努力考个好成绩。

我爱腊八节，不仅是因为能吃到美味的腊八粥，更主要的是它寓意着丰收和吉祥。

家乡的春天虽然来得晚，可树木发芽、万物复苏特别的快。到了春天，会有一批一批的燕子成群飞过蓝天，草儿探出头来，迎春花绽开笑脸，人们脱下了厚厚的棉袄-----春天带给人们欢声笑语，让世界变得充实。

家乡的夏天非常凉快，南方的城市热的喘不过气来，甚至沥青公路都被烤的软软的，我的家乡却被称作避暑胜地——不冷也不热，还能穿单薄漂亮的衣服，真是两全其美。

家乡的秋天凉风习习，最让人高兴地是水果蔬菜丰收了，农民伯伯乐的嘴都合不拢。美丽的风景悄悄走来：红红的枫叶像鸭子和小鸡的爪子；黄黄的落叶像飞舞的蝴蝶，落在地上，像秋姑娘织出的五色地毯。
