tried to build their homes near the sources of fresh water. Now fresh water is

becoming scarce， but more and more is needed because of the increasing number of

people in the world. Some industries also use large amounts of fresh water in

the production of things such as steel， petroleum， paper and rubber and so on.

Scientists estimate that the need for fresh water will have doubled by the year

2003. If they are correct， we must find new ways of saving it or producing it.

操场在明志楼的右边，顺着那条笔直小路就会走到操场。我们明志小学的操场非常大，先开始会走到一片五颜六色的空地上，然后就可以走到的是一条红白色的跑道上，接着就是一片大草坪，小草绿油油的，很柔软，坐在草坪上感觉很舒服。同学们经常在草坪上打滚，翻跟头，做游戏，玩的可开心了。草坪的左边有几个秋千，同学们下课以后有的也在玩秋千。草坪的东边有个主席台是白色的，还有一些看台，有红色的、黄色的、还有蓝色的，都很漂亮。

操场上有一条条弯弯曲曲的小路，可以从弯弯曲曲的小路上走到教学楼，教学楼很大，一共有三栋，它们都是相连着，相连的地方刻了一些字，很精致。教学楼的左边和右边也有花池，里面种了好多花，它们开的很鲜艳、很美丽。

最后是我的教室，我的教室很大、也很漂亮，有一个教我们知识的大屏幕，有白色的窗帘、天蓝色的门、蓝色的桌椅、都很整齐，很干净，我很喜欢我的教室。

Nowadays, electronic music is very popular around the world. First electronic music got popular from Lady Gaga, her creative dressing styles caught people’s attention and then people started to notice her music. They fell in love with her electronic music. Unlike rock and roll music, electronic music is more favorable by me. It makes me excited and I am totally lost in the wonderful music. Once my friends and I went to a music festival. There were so many people standing there and listening to the music. Especially when the DJ came out and everybody got excited. “开心果”周楚杭也是我们田径队名副其实的吃货，他又能吃，吃得又快。有一次，我们训练完，来到食堂吃早餐，他拿了四个碗，每个碗里都装有不同的食物。只见周楚杭端起碗，仰起头，把面往嘴里倒，他的嘴像个无底洞，面吃完了，还没噎着;我自认为自己也算能吃了，没想到周同学的吃相让我大吃一惊，我真是甘拜下风呀!

“开心果”不仅能吃，而且也很调皮搞笑。我们田径队在今年的余姚市比赛中获得了小学组团体第一名，我们一起在操场上拍照留念，这时“开心果”又冒出来了。他趁我们在拍照的间隔时，居然把比自己高一个头的“小黑”(魏喜勇)的黑外套穿在自己身上，还戴上了帽子，双手举了起来，在一旁扮演着僵尸跳，把我们所有人都乐得合不拢嘴，捂着肚子笑了半天，把所有人逗乐的同时，也可以看见“开心果”自己也在哈哈大笑呢!

这就是我田径队的队友，搞笑又好玩的“开心果”周楚杭，他给我们田径队带来了无穷的欢声笑语。

When we read newspapers, our attention is always attracted by increasing

unemployment rate in young graduates who are leaving college. In my opinion,

there are many causes for this disquieting phenomenon and we should try to solve

the problem.

Most companies would rather employ a low-educational specialized worker

than a this-years graduate from a well-known university. For companies, they are

more likely to choose the candidates with rich working experience. Apparently

enough, the training for young graduates usually costs them a large quantity of

time and money. In addition, the current education system brings on a lot of

bookworms who are adept in theoretical but not practical knowledge. Therefore,

it is hard for those graduates to complete the practical assignments

successfully and smoothly. This is one major reason why many graduates find it

to find suitable jobs.

An un-mandatory retirement age is another factor leading to the youth

unemployment for college graduates. Along with the improving of working

efficiency, proficient employees with rich and extensive working experience get

retired at a much later age. In this case, for young graduates, there are fewer

chances to get access to the jobs taken up by the older and more

experienced.

The Hero in My Heart

As we know， most peoplehave heroes in their hearts. For me, Dr Norman Bethune is the hero in my heart.He was a great doctor from Canada.

Dr Bethune was good at performing operations.And taking photos was his hobby. In 1938， he came toChina. He opened hospitals and invented medical tools. He worked so hard thathe saved thousands of Chinese people. He didn’t stop totake care of his own injured hand and died.

I am deeply moved by his stories. So I’ll work hard today and do my best to helpothers.

Since we go to school, we are taught that no pain, no gain, it means that

if people want to be successful, they must work hard. But the truth is that not

everyone can get what they want, even they work hard so much, but if working

hard does not bring success, why should they still need to work hard. In my

opinion, working hard doesn’t mean the person can success certainly, success

needs more factors, like the time, the luck and other things. There is no doubt

that if the person does not work hard and fight for his goal, there is no way

for him to get what he wants. Some actors start their career at the very young

age, when they are also 40, they become famous suddenly, if they give up, they

can’t be waiting for their reputation. So working hard, there is much chance to

get succeed.

Recently, global warming has become a hot topic among people. It results

from serious air pollution. As the environmental pollution is more and more

strict, the temperature of all the world has dramatic increased. Gradually, some

disaster such as drought, floodandGlaciers Melting follow. How terrible it is!

Therefore, we need to protect our earth and fight against the disaster

together.We should start from the trivial side. Making contribution to

protecting our home.
