My father, Winston Churchill, began his love affair with painting in his 40s, amid disastrous circumstances. Wandering in the garden one day, he chanced upon his sister-in-law sketching with watercolors. He watched her for a few minutes, then borrowed her brush and tried his hand. The muse had cast her spell!

Churchill soon decided to experiment with oils. Delighted with this distraction from his dark broodings, Clementine rushed off to buy whatever paints she could find.

For Churchill, however, the next step seemed difficult as he contemplated with unaccustomed nervousness the blameless whiteness of a new canvas. He started with the sky and later described how “very gingerly I mixed a little blue paint on the palette, and then with infinite precaution made a mark about as big as a bean upon the affronted snow-white shield. At that moment the sound of a motor car was heard in the drive. From this chariot stepped the gifted wife of Sir John Lavery .”

Battered by grief, Winston took refuge at the home of friends in Scotland, finding comfort in his painting. He wrote to Clementine: “I went out and painted a beautiful river in the afternoon light with crimson and golden hills in the background. Historians have called the decade after 1929, when the Conservative government fell and Winston was out of office, his wilderness years. During these years he often painted in the South of France. Of the 500-odd canvases extant, roughly 250 date from 1930 to 1939.

说起我的小表弟，他可比我那不听话的妹妹可爱多了，当然他也是一个名副其实的小吃货。

他有一双黑溜溜的小眼睛，古铜色的皮肤，完全颠覆了我们杨家“帅”和“美”的基因，大家推测说：“也许是因为姑姑怀他的时候见了太多印度外商。”呵呵！超萌的圆脸加上两片薄薄的小嘴唇构成了一个混血小可爱。

“亲爱的杨洋小朋友，你的小姑和小表弟来啦！”妈妈从平日里河东狮吼般的叫声变成了和气的语调，我连忙从房间里走了出来。

看见表弟时，我脑海里总会出现很多的问号。我仔细地打量着，猛然发现小家伙变得更肉嘟嘟了，再看看又高又瘦的小姑父和瘦瘦的小姑，怎么也想不通他为何会这么肥？“莫非是遗传了她舅妈‘母老虎’的胖胖基因？”边想着我便抱起了他。啊！我都抱不动他了，我使足了吃奶的劲儿才勉强把他抱起一点儿，唉，看来小表弟的确应该好好减肥了。

说起表弟的贪吃，连我都自愧不如。他饿了可以啃掉一个大馒头，真是一个“大胃王”！如果他瞧上你了手上的食物，那么你只有投降，他那黑溜溜的小眼神直勾勾的盯着目标，口水直接从他的小嘴边流淌了出来，“喔！”“呜！”不停地发出火星语，小手不停的招手，真的是可爱至极！

虽然他只有一岁多，可他的食量真是比我还大，每次和他在一起吃饭我都食欲倍增。我想：“小表弟现在就那么能吃，长大了会不会做一位厨师？或是一位怀着吃遍全世界梦想的食客？还是一名健美教练？哈哈，不管怎样，我都会支持你，祝你永远开心，没事减减肥！”

这就是我家贪吃超萌的小表弟，是不是很让你大吃一惊？

In the traditional view, a woman needs to sacrifice a lot when she marries.

For example, she has to quit the job and give birth to a baby, which makes her

look older and not that beautiful anymore. But in the modern society, the new

moms change peoples idea. A lot of mothers look still young and beautiful. They

have done some work to keep the body shape and take regular exercise, no matter

how busy they are. I admire these woman, some even make her career so well. They

find the balance between family and work, which makes them charming all the

time. The hot moms deserve the girls to learn from them.

In the future,I hope I can be a reporter.As a reporter,in order to find many good news, I will travel in different cities everyday.And i will meet a lot ofstars .First,i will study hard,as a reporter,i should have a good command of Chinese,if i have to report in English,i also need to study English very hard.

From now on,i will read everyday,and i will try to write diary to practice my writing skill.Anyway,to be a reporter is my goal in the future,I will study hard to achieve it!

我有一个可爱加调皮的表弟，和我一起去认识他吧！

说他可爱是因为他容貌可爱，他今年十岁了，他的脸蛋圆圆的，如一轮新月的眉毛下有一双炯炯有神的大眼睛，还用一双能说会道的小嘴巴，惹人喜爱！

有一个星期天，表弟来我家，我们俩和我妈妈一起玩扑克牌。妈妈出了一张草花8，表弟竟然稀里糊涂的除了一张红桃6，原来他错把6看成9了。我妈妈开玩笑说：”你真是个大笨蛋！“而表弟却说：”舅妈，你不要叫我大笨蛋，叫我小笨蛋好不好？“我和妈妈捧腹大笑。你说，他难道不可爱吗？

说他调皮，是因为那一次.他来我家，我们一起写作业时，他看我用钢笔写字，觉得好玩，就来抢我的钢笔。他左手一抢，我右手一闪，他右手一抢，我左手一闪，就这样持续好久，我实在招架不住了，就把钢笔给他了。他在我的作业本上写字，因为他还小，不会用钢笔，于是胡乱甩了一通，”啪“钢笔掉在了地下，我的作业本也”毁容“了，我心中的无名之火顿时燃烧了起来，本想去打表弟，可是他还小，就放了他。

看！这就是我的表弟，他就是可爱加调皮，虽说他时不时让我生气，惹我发笑，更令我无可奈何，带他同时也给我带来了快乐。哎o(︶︿︶)o！这就是他。

Iam a primary school student. In school, I have four classes in the morning andtwo in the afternoon. Usually, the classes are over at about half past four. SoI have much time to have fun.
