Your letter clearly articulates all the major reasons children in Maywood will benefit from studying the Chinese language as part of their elementary school education. It provides invaluable support that will help making bilingual Chinese education a reality in Maywood public schools.

Although MCEA would like to see Palo Alto public schools implement the first bilingual Chinese kindergarten class in September of 2006, we have learned that the school district must take the time to understand how a new program will affect existing educational offerings, and to validate community interest. 暑假是我唯一和他相处的时间段，但他每次都会对我进行“高压政策”。从他大班开始，只要我到他家，上完厕所一回来，旅行箱里一片狼藉，吃的东西全部被他抢得一干二净。有次我大胆抗击了他，进入他的地盘夺回了一包糖果。只见他左手拎“枪”，右手提“刀”，迅速杀进客厅，大吼一声：“何处来的强盗，光天化日之下胆敢抢我‘金银’一两，看我李大侠不收拾了他！”然后我就不知所措、目瞪口呆地被他骂了个狗血喷头。见我不为所动，竟然没有主动交出糖果，他就用武力解决问题，一个苹果飞了过来，接着一个梨子，又一颗草莓……五花八门的水果向我飞来，伴随着他的怒骂，“臭强盗，看我不砸死你！”对此，我无话可说，只好委曲求全，还了他双倍零食。此人杀气浓重，不可小看，我可不敢再轻易招惹了，否则他有一千种方法玩死你呢。老天，我要被逼疯了，谁来救救我！

别看他特会欺负人，没想到却是个胆小鬼。这不，机会来啦！阴历七月十五日，姑父讲了个十分惊悚的故事，那天是中国传统的鬼节。“半夜三更鬼敲门，路上小孩欲断魂！”我一直在旁边学鬼叫吓唬表弟，他大吼一声：“别吵了！”随后，我们各自上床了。

半夜，我的门“吱呀——”一声开了，一个矮小的身影闪了进来，是表弟。他噼里啪啦一阵乱打就打醒了三个人，我睡得迷迷糊糊，问：“你来干嘛？”他哆哆嗦嗦地回答：“我怕鬼。”“你不是喜欢奥特曼吗？”我又发问。“奥特曼只打怪兽不打鬼啊！”这个回答让我哈哈大笑起来。

这就是我的表弟，在他眼里，我的价值还没一包糖果高，不如一只鬼有“威力”。

School is our home，we are  all  live and study here.  In order to make ourselves safe，as  a student，we should obey the school rules，we should go to school on time and be never late . We must obey the traffic rulers, mustn’t go swimming alone.we shouldn’ t  chase（追） each other in the hallway and in the school yard；we should get on well with others  and should not fight with others；we should not eat the food that goes bad and some junk food；we  do not drink；we mustn’t be allowed to smoke, must  keep  away from cigarettes/smoking/drugs ;when you have questions to ask .you may ask the teachers  for  help.especially，when you meet someone asks for money，you needn‘t be afraid .you report  to the teacher or call 110/120 . We are required that students break away from these bad habits and be polite to others. We must obey  the traffic rulers, mustn’t go swimming alone.I hope we have a good time everyday.

学校是我们的家,我们都在这里学习和生活。为了使自己安全,作为学生,我们应该遵守学校的规定,我们应该准时上学,从不迟到。我们必须遵守交通规则,不能单独去游泳。我们不应该老是互相追逐(追)在走廊里,在学校里,我们应该和别人相处得很好,不应该和别人打架;我们不应该吃这个食物,坏账和一些垃圾食品;我们不喝,我们不能抽烟,必须远离香烟/吸烟/药物;当你有问题要问。你可以向老师寻求帮助。特别是,当你遇到某人问你要钱,你不必害怕。你的报告给老师或者叫110/120。我们要求学生摆脱这些坏习惯,礼貌待人。我们必须遵守交通规则,不能单独去游泳。

我有一个小表弟，今年9岁了，矮矮的个子，剃个小平头，眼睛大大的，一看就知道是一个挺精神、挺讨喜的小家伙。我私下里却常常叫他“小烦神”。

我和表弟不仅有血缘关系，就连名字都很相似，我叫姜怡鸿，他叫眭怡鸿，仅仅姓不同而已，你说有趣不！眭怡鸿可是个地道的淘气鬼，他时常把我弄得哭笑不得。

那天刚好是周五，我一回家，便迅速写完了家庭作业。这时，表弟的爷爷正巧有事，就把他送到了我家。唉，“小烦神”来了！我怕他缠住我，就“命令”他到我房间写作业，不得瞎转悠。我则溜到妈妈的房间悄悄玩起了电脑。正当我玩得津津有味的时候，“小烦神”还是来扫我的兴了。他猛地推门进来，笑嘻嘻地说：“姐，这题我不会做，你教我吧！”我真是气不打一处来：“我不想教。”他奇怪地问道：“为啥呀？”“不为啥，就是不想教。”他突然生气了，忽地冲上来“啪”的一下，居然关掉了我的电脑。我叫道：“你干什么？干嘛关我电脑？”我又把电脑打开，谁知他竟然又一次伸手关掉。我们俩就这样开啊关啊，关啊开啊，电脑都快被我们折腾坏了。最后，我忍无可忍，大声嚷道：“你究竟想咋样？”表弟一怔，收回了关电脑的小手。谁知他眼珠一转，嘴巴一撇，竟使出他的“杀手锏”——挠我痒痒。这可是我最大的弱点了。他挠，我笑，我笑得差点岔了气。我实在受不了，只好向他求饶：“小老弟，我服了你了，我教……教你作业还不成吗？”

经过这件事，我真有点怕他了，因为他太能折腾了，不愧是“小烦神”啊。谁让我是他表姐，要让着他呢。你说，这个小表弟是不是一个货真价实的捣蛋鬼、“小烦神”？

How do you define loneliness? I often walk alone, should I call myself a

lonely girl?

Nowadays, it’s a common phenomenon that college students fall in love with

others because they cannot stand loneliness. In my point of view, I believe that

people with a strong will to finish something won’t feel lonely. Many people

feel lonely when they are boring, nothing to do. That is to say, if we have many

things to do, work hard for our dreams, live a meaningful life, we won’t feel

lonely. Our dreams will accompany with us.

In my opinion, I think people who don’t know what they want are lonely,

because they have no destinations in their life. They are lonely in soul. So I

don’t consider I am a lonely person, because I have dreams, I have best friends

on my road to succeed. To a conclusion, there is no doubt that lonely in soul is

real lonely.
