对于中国考生来说，英文写作一直是最为头疼的事情之一。那么考生为什么会畏惧英文表达呢？为什么有些考生背了一两万个单词却仍然写不出好的文章呢？找到了这一系列问题的答案，就真正抓住了提高写作能力的关键。

英文写作困境可以归纳为三类：

困境1：面对一个题目，根本无话可说，即便用中文，也写不出内容。

困境2：有话可说，有内容可写，但英文表达支离破碎，完全不能用英文阐释清楚自己的观点。

困境3：有话说，也能用英文表达出要表达的意思，但写出来的语言“满篇尽带Chinglish（中式英语）”。

那么该如何走出困境，真正并有针对性地提高语言表达能力呢？答案很简单，只有两个字——素材！

面对一个话题，考生之所以无法写出连贯的文字，是因为缺少写作素材。那么素材是什么呢？其实也就是我们所说的“言之有物”中的“物”。无论是四、六级写作，还是考研写作，或是雅思、托福、GRE、GMAT、SAT写作，考生之所以无法取得高分，根本原因在于其日常积累的英文论证素材以及论据素材过于贫乏，根本无法将零星散落于大脑各个角落不成体系的素材组合起来，形成一篇逻辑严密、语言优美地道的文章。因此，英文素材的积累和素材库的建立可以真正帮助中国英语学习者和广大英语考生提高写作能力，走出英文表达困境。

正如前面所提到的，英语写作素材包含两类：一类是论证素材，即对于论点进行理论分析的素材。例如：论证竞争机制的重要性、论证环境保护的必要性、论证艺术的价值等。一类是论据素材，即可支持论点的相关事例。例如：“钻石教父”雷维夫与DeBeers公司的竞争促进了整个钻石行业的发展这一事例，可用来支持“竞争机制的重要性”的论证；引用美国政府参与环境保护的例子可佐证“环境保护的必要性”；贝多芬、巴赫、凡高的例子可说明伟大的艺术家们的艺术作品是如何推动人类文明发展的，并用以例证“艺术的价值”。

其实，只要多掌握适用于写作测试的英文写作素材（论证素材+论据素材），就已经为写出有理有据的文章打下了良好的基础，这也是写作的前提。因为，任何语言学习，或者说任何学习过程，都遵循“输入—输出”模式。如果没有输入，则永远不可能有输出；若没有好的输入，则永远不可能有好的输出。因此，语言学习有一条永恒不变的真理：不听永远不会说，不读永远不会写。这里的“听”和“读”就是输入环节，“说”和“写”就是输出环节；只有输入了好的英文素材，才能在需要的地方进行输出。

周末，姑姑来我家玩，抱来了出生才三个月的小表弟。

他的名字叫张家瑞，皮肤白白的，很嫩、很软。圆圆的脸蛋上长着一双黑黑的小眼睛，小巧的鼻子下有一张红润的小嘴。他的身体胖乎乎的，好像被吹起来的气球，可爱极了。

我的小表弟虽然不大，可他可爱的样子让我们都很喜欢。成为了我们家的小明星。希望他快快长大，可以和我一起玩耍。

涵哥，名志涵，年十三……行了，不要那么认真呀！“涵哥”便是我那粘人的表弟李志涵。

涵哥在贵州长大，每次见面都不容易，只有探亲、过年时才能聚在一起。而每次聚在一起时，他就紧紧地把我粘在一起——一起吃钣，一起抽机，一起睡觉，一起学习。虽然有时他的粘人有点烦人，但他毕竟是我最亲的同龄人，一点琐碎的事，就不应计较了！

涵哥是个很瘦的人，虽不像街头行乞的皮包骨乞丐那样可怜，但也不是正常的瘦。打个比喻，一个人撞涵哥一下，不是涵哥很痛，相反，涵哥只是被撞开一下，不会有什么感觉，而那个人就痛苦了——被这骨头啊硬生生硌了一下。所以，虽然他对我很亲密，但有时还是要“小心为妙”。

曾经有一次，我们一大家子人去老家的彝族小镇吃烤全羊。吃到一半时，我正好肚子痛，匆忙跑向洗手间，可这时涵哥也正好从门外转进来。只听一声“咚”，我便应声倒地。他诧异地望着我，一副不知所措、不明不白的表情。直到半晌之后，我被长辈扶着坐下，他才走过来，关切地说：

“哥，没事儿吧，我没咋的你呀？”

“哇！没事？”我摸着有些青的大腿，有点生气地说，“被你撞了能没事儿吗？”

涵哥似乎看出来了我对他的不可理喻，急了：“什么！你还赖我了？仙人！”忘了告诉大家，涵哥也有些小小的不理智。但很快，我俩又和好如初，毕竟是好兄弟嘛。虽然我被撞得一整天行走困难，全身酸痛，但涵哥也注意到了我这副样子，便倍加小心，生怕硌到谁。他看我走路想笑，可我看他的样子更是哭笑不得。

涵哥怕他老爸可是出了名的，就连我老爸老妈都常借涵哥他爸、也就是我老舅，来唬我。但我舅却从未训过我，相反，我在他面前时，他总是和蔼地望着我，并常和我开玩笑。于是我们仨便形成一个神奇的关系圈：涵哥十分害怕老舅，而老舅又十分喜欢我，我和涵哥又常黏着。So，结果可想而知啰！

太多的时光，太多的欢乐。涵哥的特点，不是短短几句话能表达清楚的。我的表弟虽然粘人，但却是那么可爱；虽然招人“厌”，但却比不上他的有趣。哎，可为啥我们要离得那么远呢？

要是说起我的表弟，三天三夜也讲不完。

“爱哭鬼”

我的表弟是一个名副其实的“爱哭鬼”。他今年七岁了，有一双水汪汪的大眼睛，好像两颗黑宝石。一头乌黑光亮的短发，还有一个高高的鼻子。他经常撇着嘴巴，脸上常常挂着“金豆豆”。说他几句，眼泪就会“飞流直下三千尺”。

“捣蛋鬼”

表弟的“捣蛋鬼”称号可是无人不知，无人不晓的，我也被他捉弄过一次。

记得那一天，表弟来我家。我正在专心致志地做作业。妈妈让我去帮她洗白菜，我跑了过去。表弟看见了，偷偷一笑，就在我的本子上乱涂乱画。回来后，我看见本子被弄得一塌糊涂，想想就知道，肯定是表弟涂的。我火冒三丈，就说了他几句。谁知，他的眼泪哗啦哗啦地流了出来。妈妈看见了，大发雷霆，狠狠地批评了我几句。我现在才知道我的表弟也是不好惹的。

这就是我的表弟，一个爱哭，捣蛋的小男孩。

我的姑姑是一个受人尊敬的人民教师，姑父是个救死扶伤的医生，他们都是十分严肃的人，不知到底是为什么，竟然生出一个调皮的男孩来。

这个男孩就是我的表弟，他的名字叫林城旭。表弟比较矮小，脸瘦瘦的，一双眼睛炯炯有神，活像那大闹天宫的孙悟空。

他实在太调皮了，总是爱没事找事地捉弄别人。不是趁别人坐下的时候把椅子抽走，就是故意把别人的东西藏起来，让别人干着急。他很喜欢上窜下跳，令人心惊胆战，常把我给弄怕了。所以，没事我一定不会往他家跑。

记得有一次奶奶过生日，林城旭和小表妹也来了。那时，我正在津津有味地看电视，还不知道他来了。不知什么时候，表弟带着小表妹轻手轻脚地进屋来，并溜到了我身后，等我转身去拿果汁时啊！两声尖叫像闪电一样划过整座房子。原来，表弟躲在我后面，待我转过身，就向我尖叫。我惊魂未定，表弟又和小表妹双目对视，然后窃笑了几声，表弟就鬼鬼祟祟地溜了出去。我还身在云里雾里，丈二和尚摸不着头脑，不知他又要干什么？

过了大概有五分钟左右，门外传来表弟的喊声，我和小表妹闻声赶去。只见表弟爬到了邻居家的石榴树上，骑着树杈哈哈大笑。他看到我时，指了指那熟透的石榴，竖起食指，示意我别发出声响，然后却去抓了两个石榴，猛的向我扔来。面对这突然的袭击怎么可能会做好充分的准备呢？两个石榴像炸弹一样直朝我飞来，还好我躲得及时，要不，就会被他砸到。表弟见状就在树上捧腹大笑，然后准备从树上跳下来。我真怕他摔下来，连忙阻止。可是，转眼之间，猴子一样的他已敏捷地跳了下来，那场面还好他没摔着。

嗨，我这个表弟真是太调皮了！

Dan lost his legs in Vietnarm War. He said that his fate is death in war. However, Mr. A Gan saved him and let him be alive. After losing legs, Dan was decadent and disgusted with life, complaining that A Gan shouldnt save him. When he adjusted his mind, living on fishing with A Gan, he started to enjoy the wonderful life and thank A Gans help. The movie is intended to tell people that life is wonderful by this character. Rainbow is always after cloud. The key point is that whether we have a good mind and an opportunity to ourselves to change bad situation. The movie is also sent such a message to us: do well what we should do, and life will return us well. There will be a miracle if only there is perseverance.

当灿烂的太阳跳出碧蓝的天空，我依然缩在被窝里做着美梦，“啊——”的一声，伴随着刺耳的尖叫，美好，宁静的早晨被打破了。我不耐烦的掀起被子，疼着拖鞋来到了老妈房间。

只见里面仿佛刚刮过龙卷风似的，一片狼藉，不堪入目，再往前一看，表弟正与老弟拼命的按着键盘打游戏，嘴里还不时念叨着：“杀，杀，杀……”“ko！”随着电脑的声音，伴随着的又是一阵尖叫，我迅速捂上耳朵并且以迅雷不及掩耳之势关了电脑。表弟和老弟都“唉---”了一声，然后又迅速把目光转向电视，这次我早有防备，迅速把电视线拔了，并问道：“你怎么来了？”“我来玩几天。”看到电视线拔了，老弟失望的说道。“全给我写作业去，今天大人都不在家，别给我惹麻烦，听到没？”然后，我打着哈欠回到被窝里，突然，我觉得那里不对劲——表弟会这么听话？我轻手轻脚地来到房间，果然---两个人咬着毛巾“唔唔”地叫着，活像被绑架了似的，屋子里更乱了，活像是孙悟空大闹天宫的样子，我生气的将两个“犯罪分子""拎”出房间，然后废了九牛二虎之力将房间打扫干净，走时，我留了个心眼，将门锁了起来，并把钥匙拔了，藏进鞋子里。然后安心的去睡了。当我醒来时，已到了中午，我刚准备叫他们俩该买方便面时，隐隐约约听到房间里传来了声音，我已猜到了八九分。怒发冲冲的冲进房间。房间又恢复了以前的惨状——瓜子壳，零食袋洒一地。我耐着性子问道：“你们怎么进来的？”听到我的声音，两个人像受惊的兔子，放下鼠标就跑。

于是，我与两个活宝斗智斗勇的战争便如火如荼的正式打响了……

我的表弟是一个很爱美的人，等他出门，比登天还难。

这天，我到了他家，准备和他们一家人以及表妹一家人出去吃KFC。表妹一听到可以吃好吃的，顾不得作业，随随便便换好衣服，套上鞋子就嚷着要出发了。可是表弟呢，他不紧不慢的挑好衣服，慢条斯理的穿好，还不时地拿梳子理理他那顽固翘起的头发。等了十多分钟，我不耐烦的问到：“好了没，这么慢，人家女孩子都好了，现在全世界的人都在等你呢！＂一旁的舅母笑道：＂你不了解他，以他的性格，不花上一个半个小时还真不行呢．我都叫你不用这么早来了．＂我惊讶地望望表妹，她无奈的吐一下舌头说：＂没错．＂差不多半个小时过去了，才见表弟从房里出来．我以为终于可以走了，飞快的穿好了鞋，舅母他们也陆续穿好了．只见表弟并不着急穿鞋，他走进卫生间，拿出一条旧抹布，然后拎起鞋就擦起来．＂我的老天，你要弄到什么时候啊？＂我叫道．他回答说：＂快好了，别那么着急．＂最后我们大概八点才到了ＫＦＣ......

记得2月19日下深圳的时候，奶奶就带我去大姨妈家里去玩，我刚一进门，听到“哥哥，哥哥”贝贝正在大声叫我，我说：“贝贝，我们好久不见了啊，你长高了呀！”

小贝贝虽然才3岁，他已经认识了许多的字了，我一到那里，坐在沙发看电视，贝贝就靠在我旁边看，还边说：“哥哥，快看，牛牛、马马”嗯，我点点头。我想下去看表哥准备的怎么样？贝贝就拉着我下去，怕我‘迷路’了，我走到哪里，贝贝就跟到哪里，我躲起来，贝贝还是看得到我。

到了16点了，我和表哥马上要坐车下深圳了，贝贝就和大姨妈和小舅送我和表哥，等到了6点多车才开来了，我坐上车，看见贝贝哭着和我再见，贝贝对他的老奶奶说：“我要和哥哥一起下深圳！我要和哥哥一起下深圳！”贝贝放声大哭，大姨妈买了一支棒棒糖给了贝贝吃，才哄住他的，车开走了，我看见贝贝的身影远离我的视线了……

A cobbler passed his time in singing from morning till night;it was wonderful to see,wonderful to hear him;he was more contented in shoes,than was any of the seven sages.His neighbor,on the contrary,who was rolling in wealth,sung but little and slept less.He was a banker;when by chance he fell into a doze at day-break,the cobbler 12 awoke him with his song.The banker complained sadly that Providence had not made sleep a saleable commodity,like edibles or drinkables.

Having at length sent for the songster,he said to him,

"How much a year do you earn,Master Gregory?"
