Dear Mum,

Hello!

After school at noon today, I quarreled with you on my way home. Why do you

suppose I quarrelled with you? Thats because you said a sentence that makes me

very angry, which is: "Mr. Lin sent text messages to criticize you today."

Because you said a lie, let me very angry, it is because of your words, I give

nasty! Usually you say me, I have no complaint. But todays you why want to give

me so big fire! Are you scolding me, scolding me, or beating me because your

shop is not doing well? Or because you read the text message of my

misunderstanding. I know you dont mean it, but just speak to me when you have

something to say, and dont be so cross when you talk to me. I think you do not

understand the meaning of the teacher said, I now come to tell you what the

teachers words mean! In fact, the teachers meaning is very simple: the teacher

told us in the morning: "Yesterday only Wei Yujie revised all the diary, while

others only modified a part, did not completely correct." The words "one person"

in the teachers text message refer to Wei Yujie, and "others" refer to everyone

in our class (except Wei). In this way, it is easy to understand: everyone in

the class (except Wei Yujie) must finish revising all the diaries this

weekend.

But it was also my fault, because I did not explain myself clearly to you,

and it was your misunderstanding of me. So here I want to say to you: "Mom,

Sorry!"

I wish you:

Dear Mrs. Shi,

hello. Must first thank you to be willing very much to arrive at our school, teaches us business English this curriculum. To your first impression is childish, very kind feeling. After knowing your study experience, increased to your sentiment of worship.Because Fudan Universitys world economics specialty is my dream, even if forever possibly could not realize. In fact,I really want to see your study life at ordinary times, I want to know what kind of habits accomplished thus excellent of you.

This semester, we got the subject of 《Offer&Counter-Offer》 , I also remember until now our group comes on stage performances scene, I can only use two words to describe: bad and awkward. Because we do not have well the preparation, cause then the situation of the mess. On the PPT content is directly from on-line duplication and glue. But takes me who lectures not to have well the preparation, is simply is on site to display. At that time stood on the stage feeling is really very bad, I only wanted a bit faster to finish lecture, hurry to leave stage. That experience told me “the full preparation” importance.

In your class, I also have another unforgettable experience, is some time roll-call. You didn’t call everybody, when you selected Wang Kaiya, I helped her to call, which knew that you called me to raise hand to look to you. Afterward you selected unexpectedly to mine name. I am really suspected very much that you thought I am not Wang Kaiya, therefore has turned head selects the Han Xue name again, because of mine student number in the front of Wang Kaiya. Afterward one time, you were called each group of group leaders name, I helped Wang Kaiya to call once more, therefore I thought that perhaps you regarded me Wang Kaiya.Ha-ha, this merely is my guess!

On your class we feel relaxed, we don’t have the tedious knowledge spot and heavy homework. Some are only your speaking with confidence with each kind of small story, you used your personal experience to teach our some truths.

This semester, my impression quite deep is “transportation” this chapter. I have learned the transport expense computing mode, and in the transportation process the risk undertakes the way. The different transport mode and the method of settling accounts, will have the dissimilar transport expense and the risk. Actually in “the international trade”, I has also studied some international shippings knowledge, but in yours class, I studied each technical expression in English. For freight, direct vessel, entir voyage and so on.

Oh, Oh, I am really could not write again about this semester’s studies and thought, because spoke the truth, I very few listened earnestly, especially in the university. Therefore teacher I’m sorry very much, this semesters work I stopped. Wishes you and your family member has the happiness content life!

Dear teachers and dear friends,

Everybody is good!

My name is Lin junhao. Today, I was standing on the platform for the first time, and the first speech was for the class monitor. At this moment, I am very excited and nervous. The class leader is a job that many students yearn for. I need someone who is capable and caring. I believe I have this ability. I have not been a monitor in the second and fourth grade. Do you continue to give me this opportunity? Let my childhood diary to leave the wonderful memory for the whole class to serve. I am enthusiastic and cheerful, love the collective, unite the classmate, have the love. My weakness is that I love playing games and not listening to other peoples advice to me. In the days to come, I will get rid of these problems.

If I succeed as the monitor, I will do the job well with vigorous energy and clear mind. I will hold a series of activities such as recitation, and of course, I will not say much more. I think we should all be doers, not those beautiful words. If I lose the election, I still have many shortcomings, I will continue to improve myself.

Work has trained me, and life has made me. Dale Carnegie said: Dont be afraid to sell yourself. If you think you are talented, you should think you are qualified to take on this or that position. .

Students, trust me, support me, please vote for me, thank you!

I have heard a beautiful poetry, written by a novelist, Amy Cheung. With a

little adjustment, it can vividly depict the alienation among people in reality

- "The further distance in the world is not between life and death. But when I

stand in front of you, your eyes turn to your smartphone; don’t know that I love

you."

The smartphone has been gaining a great popularity, becoming a toxic

compulsion. It has invaded our lives and occupied all our interstitial time. It

is so commonly seen that the smartphone addicts attend to their phone, ignoring

everything. Even meeting with friends, they often pull out the phone in order to

take a photo, check a message or even play with a game. Seeming connected with

the whole world, they have actually fiddled the conversation and done harm to

the relationship.

It is high time that we threw away the phone and raised our heads up. Do

cherish the ones around us and appreciate the splendid scenery ahead of us.

21 June 2006

Dear Mary,

Thanks for your last letter. Im so glad that you have been able (at last! ) to arrange a holiday in Australia. As I fear I wont be able to meet you at the airport when you arrive, nor will I be able to be home until later in the afternoon, so here are some instructions and suggestions.

There is a bus from the airport to the city. It is much cheaper than a cab. Take the bus to the city and ask to get off at Town Hall railway station.

To get to my place in the eastern suburbs you have three options. You can either take a cab, a bus or the train. I suggest you take the train, since the airport bus will leave you right at the station. Get off at Cliff Station. From there you can either walk to my place (about ten minutes) or take a taxi. Probably you should take a taxi as you will have luggage.

When you arrive at my flat, ring the intercom for Flat 2. My friend Lillian will be at home and she will open the front door for you and let you into my flat.

Presumably you will be tired and want to sleep. But if you feel like some exercise after that long flight, you could stroll down to Cooper Park, which is only ten minutes away ? you can see it from the window.

Cheers and looking forward to seeing you.

Yours sincerely,

Annie

P.S. I will leave something for breakfast in the fridge. Help yourself to anything you want.

Useful Expressions:

Here are some instructions and suggestions.

May I suggest that we meet at the gate of the university?

Id like to suggest you should visit London for at least two days on your way to Scotland.

Considering your present situation, I propose that you should apply for the post.

Dear Sir,

I am working on a new project which is called A Survey of New Industry in

Three points are specially important to the project. The first one is the

arrangements to overcome poor road and rail links in this district. The third is

Any other information will be useful, but those points are the ones with

which I most need your help.

I am enclosing an information form for you to fill in. I hope you can post
