Gulangyu — A fairyland in the world

there were traffic jams almost everywhere, people waited in long queues at bus-stops:and taxi-stands? looking entirely exhausted.tempers flared when people gotpushed or if someone else cut the queue.impatient drivers honked at each other every now and then.

the railway station was congested with travelers who rushed to the platform like a swarm of bees and then squeezed their way into the train for seats as if there would be no tomorrow.

in the restaurants, tables were shared. a platoon of waiters filed out from the kitchen armed with various containers of eatables. orders were taken feverishly and then shouted across to the kitchen. excitement reigned everywhere as waiters ran hither and thither to fill the orders.

Many classmates ask me about my plan for summer holiday. How I wish I could have a colorful and fruitful holiday, so I have decided to do a part-time job during the summer vacation. 今天下午一放学，我刚回家，正把作业写到一半时，表弟又进来了，他问道：“姐姐，世界上为什么会有白天和黑夜呢？”我不耐烦地编造故事说：“因为天上的“白衣天使”和“黑衣天使”吵架了，一生气，他们就分开了，一个白天出来，一个黑夜出来。”“姐姐你胡说，故事书上说，天使们都是可爱、听话的，他们怎么会吵架呢？”望着他那天真的脸，我竟然无言以对了。

最近还好吗？前几天阿姨告诉我，你和她吵架了，叫我劝劝你。你要知道你妈妈这是为你好啊！

听阿姨说，最近你迷上了一个叫《地下城与勇士》的游戏，整天到晚忙着“刷副本”“升级”“收装备”“pk”什么的，叫你去吃饭，总是要叫上三五七次才肯下来吃饭。为了这件事阿姨已经说了你很多次了，你却死都不肯戒掉它，最后阿姨无奈便去电信局断了网络。说知道这样一做却让你和自己吵架了。

你要知道，阿姨这样做是为了你好。可怜天下父母心啊！你却不懂你妈妈的心意。

虽然以前我也跟你一样，沉迷于dnf（《地下城与勇士》的简称），但是我现在已经不玩了。以前我玩的时候也像你那样，没叫上三五七次，我不会去吃饭。可是到了高二第二个学期，我便觉得那个游戏现在不应该玩了，可能是意识到玩这个游戏没有用吧！自从没有玩dnf后，我发现爸妈脸上的愁云已经不见了，以前我玩游戏时，他俩总是黑着脸的，而且总是对我说现在是学习时候，不要玩了。

或许长大了，就会明白父母这么说是为了我们好。

再说，现在的dnf已经是一个乌烟瘴气的游戏了，不说腾讯这个代理商骗玩家钱了，你看看那满街的粗言俗语，在pk场上赢了别的玩家，给人“问候”自己的父母，两帮人马双双对骂，在这种环境下，很容易学坏的，即使不学坏，学得粗口一大堆也是不好的。

你要明白父母骂你是为你好的。

而且你现在已经上初三了，哪有那么多时间玩游戏啊！好好复习，面对中考吧！别让你的父母失望啊！游戏这样东西就像**一样，小赌怡情，大赌就不要了。放假时玩一会儿就好了，别费太多心机下去，对你没有好处的。

况且，让你成为“游戏王”又怎样啊！你想靠游戏混饭吃？这是不可能的。别忘了咱们国家是“应试大国”，没有文凭啥都做不成！

向你妈妈道个歉吧！听你妈妈的话，现在别玩dnf了，好好读书，等你中考完了，我陪你玩有怎样啊！别顶撞你妈妈啦！她做的一切都是为了你好的。

How to Make Friends

It’s hard to makefriends if you stay alone all the time. It’s easier to

make friends whenyou have similar interests. Look at people in the eyes when you
