弟仔写的字很漂亮很美观。一次，他在做作业，我无意中瞥了一下他的作业本。哇！（不瞥不知道，瞥了吓一跳）我简直不敢相信我的眼睛，字体很端正，很清楚。不知道的还以为出自女孩子的手呢！我原本也不相信这是他写的，因为我不敢相信这手漂亮的字出自于一个小时候特别顽皮的人，可我确实看到他在写，我才敢相信。我翻了他的书包（经过他的允许），从里面找到了一张综合的成绩单，居然每科都在九十分以上，就连音乐、体育也是如此。顿时，我觉得很惭愧。我五年级的时候，成绩一直在波动，而他的成绩居然能保持这么平稳，我自愧不如。而在他的书包里面，里面的书收拾得井然有序，令我刮目相看。每本书上写着美观的字，并排着，看起来很漂亮。他再也不是从前的那个只会捣蛋、爱欺负人、不听话的他了。表弟变了，变得与以前完全不同，这让我十分地惊讶。

怎么样，这就是我现在表弟，一个跟以前不同的表弟。

我有一个小表弟十分可爱，都已经一岁多啦！圆圆的脸，大大的眼睛，胖乎乎的。

小表弟就像一只小猴子一样，在“假山”---沙发上窜来窜去，一会儿从那头跑到这头，一会儿从这头跑到那头。眼花缭乱。高兴地啊啊地叫。还嘟嘟囔囔的说爸爸妈妈、姐姐。一说到姐姐他可来劲了，我问他：“壮壮，姐姐在哪？他就一边怪怪的笑，一边指照片上的姐姐，完全不把我放在眼里，真是太气人啦！他的表情好像故意似的。小表弟还吃衣服，逮住谁的衣服就添谁的衣服，整天把舅妈（表弟的妈妈）的衣服咬得湿漉漉。可是有时候他还像一个小大人一样优秀作文 ，坐在自己的小沙发上翘着腿，插上耳机听音乐。小表弟还是红果果、绿泡泡的铁杆粉丝呢，只要是小小智慧树的歌他都听了一遍。怎么样，夸张吧！

我紧张地裹紧身上的毛毯，双眼紧盯着缓缓走来的孩子，咽了口口水。

表弟嬉笑着，赤着足，一步一顿地走向角落。我伸出手急忙把桌上的纸笔塞入沙发下面的抽屉中，戴上眼镜，胡乱裹上毯子，又紧盯着他的一举一动。他珍珠般漆黑明亮的眼珠微微瞪大，左右张望了一会儿。忽然，他咧嘴笑笑，摇摇摆摆地低下身子，黑乎乎的手握住角落沾满干土的锄头，挥了挥，向我走来。

我一愣，慢慢向角落缩去。他握着的锄头缓缓举起，挂着纯洁无瑕的两岁孩子的笑容，磨钝的锄头“嗖”地砍向裹着毛毯的双腿。

”唔！“我惊叫一声，迅速躲了开来。幸亏皮糙肉厚，锄头粗钝，还有毛毯在身，我只有一丝痛感在大腿间蔓延。我愣了一会儿，怒视着他，一把抓过锄头，在桌子上敲了几下，放到了高处。我喘了口气，恶狠狠地向他做了个鬼脸。表弟呆呆地看着我，眼角盈出泪珠，嘴角抽动了几下，大声哭了起来。幸亏舅妈及时赶到，把小表弟抱了出去。我捂住耳朵，紧皱着眉。

这个表弟，可绝不是调皮那么简单！

在所有的兄弟姐妹里，我最喜欢和我的表弟玩，他叫彭语翔。现在有一岁九个月了，皮肤又嫩又白，小小的眼睛笑起来眯成一条缝，不过我觉得他的笑有时非常可怕，因为他“笑里藏刀”，刚刚他还对你露出一脸天真烂漫的笑，一刹那间，他就对你又抓又挠，让你猝不及防。

表弟一岁八个月才学会走路，这可把我们急坏了，不过他说话很流利，说出来的话常常令人捧腹大笑。比如：神经、好笑喔、吓死宝宝啦、拿得来给宝宝、宝宝看一下看一下哟……先是把我们整得一脸蒙逼，后来便大笑起来。每次只要有人当着他的面玩手机，他准会说：“宝宝看一下看一下哟！”如果你不给他，他就会对你“死缠烂打”，直到你精力全无。

这天我来到姨姨家想跟翔宝玩，一进门，他便跑过来要我抱，我当然不能拒绝啦！抱了一会儿后，他不下来啦，一直要我抱，别人都不要。外婆怕我累，想要强行抱他下来，他却死死勒住我不放手，还一直对外婆说：“坏人，坏人。”这可笑死我了。后来还是拿好吃的把他哄下来的。

表弟还是个花花小公子呢！只要看见了美女就一直痴痴地盯着，喃喃地说漂漂阿姨，漂漂阿姨！

什么时候到武汉来玩?

告诉你，武汉现在的变化可大了。每到过节的时候，武汉的各大著名景点就会装饰一新。国庆节的时候，东湖里面可热闹了。在湖边原来有一条鹅卵石小路，国庆节的时候就变成了吐鲁番长廊。头顶装饰了一串串葡萄架，小路的两边挂着各种关于新疆天山的宣传画。小路中间有一些新疆人在那里边做边卖羊肉串。这里的羊肉串可好吃了，全是正宗的新疆羊肉烧烤出来的，从旁边走过，就想流口水。路边的草坪上有一些来自新疆的演员在表演节目：踩钢丝、高空走钢丝、滑竹竿、跳新疆的民族舞蹈、表演绝技等。草坪上还有一个个各具特色的蒙古包。蒙古包内有表演，不过进去是要收费的。走在东湖边的这条小路上，仿佛来到了新疆的吐鲁番。

我的表弟，如果你和他斗嘴的话，你会输的一塌糊涂，他讲起话来像连珠炮似的噼噼啪啪，怪不得别人都叫他“机关枪”，但我们听惯了他的“小机关枪”，当他发现“机关枪”不管用的时候，他就开始哭，哭了好一会儿，见这招又不管用了，他就开始在地上又是打滚，又是扔玩具，可我们还是按兵不动，我表弟见这招还是不管用，便立刻停止了哭声，我们倒是被他另一个举动吓呆了，他跑进厨房，拿出一个苹果，跑到阳台上，把那个苹果扔下去，我们还没来得及阻止他，那个苹果就已经投入了大地的怀抱了，这时他大声喊到：“苹果掉下去了，我去捡……”话没说完，他就跑了出去。

Christmas Day falls on the twenty-fifth of December.It is a very happy day

for many boys and girls .Before the term ends in some schools ,the children act

a nativity or “birth” play,showing how Jesus was born in a stable.

On the twenty-fourth of December,all children are very excited.Usually they

are sent to bed early so that their parents can get the presents ready.The

younger children think that Father Christmas will come down the chimney or

fireplace ,so they hang up a sock for him to put presents in.The greedy ones

even hang up a pillow-case or a sack to try to get more presents.Later that

night,Father or Mother will put presents in the sock,and leave others at the

side of the bed.

On Christmas morning,the children wake up very early.Some even turn on the

light at two oclock,and most of them are awake by six oclock although it is

not light in England for another hour or two at this time of the year.Children

look for their presents,and the young ones play while the dinner is prepared.At

about one oclock in the afternoon,the Christmas dinner is brought in.The turkey

or chicken is quickly eaten.Children search in their Christmas pudding for new

An October Sunrise 十月的日出

I was up the next morning be fore the October sunrise, and away through the wild and the woodland. The rising of the sun was noble in the cold and warmth of it peeping down the spread of light, he raised his shoulder heavily over the edge of grey mountain and wavering length of upland. Beneath his gaze the dew-fogs dipped, and crept to crept to the hollow places; then stole away in line and column, holding skirts, and clinging subtly at the sheltering corners where rock hung over grassland, while the brave lines of the hills came forth, one beyond other gliding.

The woods arose in folds, like drapery of awakened mountains, stately with a depth of awe, and memory of the tempests. Autumn’s mellow hand was upon them, as they owned already, touched with gold and red and olive, and their joy towards the sun was less to a bridegroom than a father.

Yet before the floating impress of the woods could clear it self, suddenly the gladsome light leaped over hill and valley, casting amber, blue, and purple, and a tint of rich red rose; according to the scene they lit on, and the curtain flung around; yet all alike dispelling fear and the cloven hoof of darkness, all on the wings of hope advancing, and proclaiming, “God is here!” then life and joy sprang reassured from every crouching hollow; every flower, and bud and bird had a fluttering sense of them; and all the flashing of God’s gaze merged into soft beneficence.

So, perhaps, shall break upon us that eternal morning, when crag and chasm shall be no more, neither hill and valley, nor great unvintaged ocean; but all things shall arise, and shine in the light of the Father’s countenance, because itself is risen.

“哟，璐璐，几年不见，长这么高了！”我抚摸着璐璐的头。只见我前面站着一位约莫八九岁的小男孩，蓝色的无袖T恤，配合着他那张略显羞涩，稚气未脱的小脸，谁都很难把它与一年前的那位调皮的小顽童相提并论。璐璐轻轻一笑，然而却被电视机里“海绵宝宝”的笑声所吸引得不由自主的转过了头：“杨超，我敢说，‘章鱼哥’等会还要吹笛子。”他对着杨超说。“不是笛子，是…..”杨超做出“一休哥”的样子，想了起来，“对了，是喇叭。”“是吗，我觉得不是。”“就是！”“不是！”……我心里轻笑了一下，毕竟都还是小孩子，对动画片的特殊感情以及常常为一些无厘头的小事儿而争吵，都是正常的，璐璐看起来是成熟了不少，但到底还是有一颗童真的心。“杨超你连‘喇叭’这两个字都不会写，就别瞎闹了，露露说的对，是‘笛子’。”我笑着打断他，“真好奇你是从哪知道这词的。”杨超一听，没好气的白了我一眼，便不再说话了。我似乎想到了什么问题，又问璐璐：“璐璐，今年考了多少分呀？”璐璐一听，扬了扬头，骄傲地说：“语文86，数学嘛，91！”我拍了拍手：“真不错！”虽然在城市，这个成绩不算好，然而，也总比杨超这些考了60分都会高兴得抽过去的孩子好一些。“对了，璐璐呀……”

聊了一会儿，我回家吃饭，等再次去找璐璐时却发现他与杨超都不知道跑哪儿疯去了没办法，我只有回家写这则日记了。可这才发现，他俩都在电脑面前等着我呢！“杨洁哥哥，快玩游戏嘛！”“对呀。”他俩一唱一和的催促着我。“好，我写完作文就玩。”

Dear Father Christmas,

So my friend has asked me to write to you... I have to confess its been

hard to know what to say. Mainly because like most adults I feel preposterous

asking anything of you because our time with you is surely done. Now we get our

own presents, control our own fates, take responsibility for our own actions,

and live in the world we have created... so its not for us to turn around and

plead for your help with the environment, the migrant crisis, the NHS,

education, food banks, human rights, fundamentalism and wars. Though God knows

we need all the help we can get with all these man-made problems and more.

And its not that you arent compassionate and full of joy. Youre great.

In spite of you being changed into different colours for corporations and being

bastardised to represent materialism gone mad - despite probably originating in

some season based pagan druid ritual a million thought miles from requests for

spontaneously combusting hoverboards... Kidadults cynically pointing this out

after having their moment of belief in you are wasting everyones precious time.

Because you are not for them. You are for the children. Children who need some

magic in a world where the borders between innocence and responsibility, playful

imagination and cold, adult obstacles are continually shrinking.

This is what Id like to ask you to help with. A little more time for

children to be children. Stretch the moment of magic and playfulness. Distract

them from the realities of a world gone mad so that they can laugh with their

breath rather than sob with their tears. Especially those caring for family

members, or suffering illness, hunger or poverty. Especially those hiding in

buildings as bombs rain down, or being handed shaking with fear or cold into a

boat to escape environmental disaster or war. Please help to light up their

worlds with a moment of joy and hope.

When I think about it youve got it tough this year... And when I really

think about it Im not sure that asking you for a lightsaber and getting one

(not that I ever did by the way) is equatable with controlling the space time

continuum and making the good of childhood last a little longer.

But you do inspire wonder and awe amongst those that write you letters and

go to sleep hoping there might be a new object in their possession come dawn.

You inspire good behaviour and, at least in my memory, some desperate last

minute attempts to redeem bad behaviour so as not to be overlooked. Spare a

thought too for those millions who want to write to you but through illiteracy

cant. Hear their words and help to give them the time and chance to learn how

to read and write so they can better their lives and escape their impoverished

beginnings.

I feel a little sorry for you. And I guess Ive done exactly what I said I

wouldnt... Asked you to help with adult problems and solve some of the greatest

worries we have for our children. I promise to leave some extra port and mince

pies for you!
