Although MCEA would like to see Palo Alto public schools implement the first bilingual Chinese kindergarten class in September of 2006, we have learned that the school district must take the time to understand how a new program will affect existing educational offerings, and to validate community interest. The relation among Chinas ethnic groups can be described as "overall integration, local concentration, mutual interaction." With the development of the market economy, interaction among ethnic groups has become even more active in the areas of government, economics, culture, daily life, and marriage. there were traffic jams almost everywhere, people waited in long queues at bus-stops:and taxi-stands? looking entirely exhausted.tempers flared when people gotpushed or if someone else cut the queue.impatient drivers honked at each other every now and then.

the railway station was congested with travelers who rushed to the platform like a swarm of bees and then squeezed their way into the train for seats as if there would be no tomorrow.

in the restaurants, tables were shared. a platoon of waiters filed out from the kitchen armed with various containers of eatables. orders were taken feverishly and then shouted across to the kitchen. excitement reigned everywhere as waiters ran hither and thither to fill the orders.

Are professional success and a fulfilling personal life mutually exclusive? Probably not, although it is more difficult today to achieve both.

Undeniably, todays professionals must work long hours to keep their heads above water, let alone to get ahead in life financially. This is especially true in Japan, where cost of living, coupled with corporate culture, compel professional males to all but abandon their families and literally to work themselves to death. While the situation here in the states may not be as critical, the two-income family is now the norm, not by choice but by necessity.

However, our societys professionals are taking steps to remedy the problem. First, they are inventing ways such as job sharing and telecommuting to ensure that personal life does not take a back seat to career. Second, they are setting priorities and living those hours outside the workplace to their fullest. In fact, professional success usually requires the same time-management skills that are useful to find time for family, hobbies, and recreation. One need only look at the recent American presidents-Clinton, Bush, Reagan and Carter- to see that it is possible to lead a balanced life which includes time for family, hobbies, and recreation, while immersed in a busy and successful career. Third, more professionals are changing careers to ones which allow for some degree of personal fulfillment and self-actualization. Besides, many professionals truly love their work and would do it without compensation, as a hobby. For them, professional and personal fulfillments are one and the same.

有一次，我到姑姑家玩。正巧表弟不在家，我闲得无聊，便走到他的玩具箱前，拿起遥控飞机问姑姑：“能让我玩一会儿吗？”姑姑说：“可以，拿去吧。”我高兴地打开飞机的开关键，忽然，飞机被一只凭空出现的手夺去。由于他用力过大，导致飞机的零件掉了下来。我抬头一看，是表弟回来了！只见他眉头紧紧地皱着，眼里喷着火花，喉咙里还隐隐约约发出“呼呼呼”的声音。该不会就因为碰了他的飞机，要发脾气了吧？没想到他对我吼道：“你居然敢玩我的飞机，你看，”他指着掉下的飞机零件，“都烂成什么样了？你赔！赔一百个一模一样的，现在就赔！”我也急了，说：“明明是你抢去时弄坏的，为什么要我赔？”说完，我气急败坏地回家了。据姑姑所说，爸爸还特意帮表弟修好飞机，给他道了歉呢。

还有一次，我们去公园玩，买了两根冰棍，他一根，我一根。我提醒他：“赶快吃，不然化了！”表弟不听，拿着冰棍和姑姑打电话。过了一会儿，他转头一看，冰棍少了一大截！顿时，脸憋得通红，指着我说：“一定是你偷吃的！趁我不注意把冰棍吃掉了！”我哭笑不得：“是它化成水滴在地上了……”“我不管，我要吃冰棍！”“好好好……”唉，真拿他没办法，我只好又去买了一根冰棍给他。

这就是我的表弟，一个脾气坏，但却让人忍俊不禁的小男孩。

Im glad to introduce my school life to you. In my school, the students life is colorful. We can do morning exercises in the morning, and it can keep us healthy. In class, our teachers teach us much knowledge which we cant learn from our parents. And the teachers are kind and friendly. We get along well with them. After class, we often play some interesting games. And people can hear us laughing. When it is time for us to have meals, I go to buy food in the school dinning room.
