Last years Spring Festival is special. My uncle and my aunt came back from Shanghai. My family were very happy to spend the Spring Festival with them. And it was the most exciting festival of all the festivals.

On New Years Eve，my father and my uncle talked about their work together. My mum did some cooking with my aunt. Grandparents and I watched the New Year TV programmes. At about six o’clock， we had a special family dinner. We all thought the dumplings were delicious.

On the first day of the New Year， we visited our relatives. In the afternoon，we went shopping in Jiefang Road. My uncle bought some Jays CDs. He likes Jay’s music very much. There were so many people on the road. It was more alive than any other time of a year.

On the second and the third days，we spent a wonderful weekend in the country. There were much bigger trees than in the city. And the animals were more beautiful than in the city. We all enjoyed ourselves.

It was a bolt out of the blue to learn that I needed a surgery, whereas it was incredible to undertake a surgery without any local or gerenal anesthesia. I extremely suffered from it. It was him who held my hand tightly without any hesitation during the whole process and it was him who took me back and forth to hospital to do the daily checks. There were no sufficient words expressing my thanks for him.It took me a month back to the normal track until the Mid-Autumn day.My friend availed himself of the benefit from his job to offset the 70% of the total costs. However, what the quite unhappy thing was a hard-to-miss and hard-to-fade mark on my right leg.

Chinese New Years Eve is known as chú xī. It literally means "Year-pass Eve".

Chinese New Year is the longest and most important festivity in the Lunar Calendar. The origin of Chinese New Year is itself centuries old and gains significance because of several myths and traditions. Ancient Chinese New Year is a reflection on how the people behaved and what they believed in the most.

Celebrated in areas with large populations of ethnic Chinese, Chinese New Year is considered a major holiday for the Chinese and has had influence on the new year celebrations of its geographic neighbors, as well as cultures with whom the Chinese have had extensive interaction. These include Koreans (Seollal), Tibetans and Bhutanese (Losar), Mongolians (Tsagaan Sar), Vietnamese (T?t), and formerly the Japanese before 1873 (Oshogatsu). Most people has a sweet home, so have I. I think my home is sweet because it is my best place to have rest or have fun with my friends or my parents.

I can remember clearly. Once I came back home late because my teacher didnt want me leave until I finished my homework. At that time, the weather became colder and the wind became stronger. most.Not only because it’s the biggest festival in the year, but also because

it’s a new beginning that brings hope to people and it’s time for family

gathering.Before the festival, people come home no matter where they

Last night, I watched a tennis game, it was the US open, because there was

a Chinese female player came to the semi-final, so I stayed up to watched the

game. Unluckily, she was injured twice, though she still wanted to finish the

game, her body situation did not allow her to do so. Her insistence moved so

many audience, they gave her the biggest applause.

The power of insistence is great, it will help you set free your potential

and keep move on. Just for the players, they will face all kinds of incidences

now and then, but the will to insist will make them finish the game. Sometimes,

people win the game not because of their excellent skills, but their strong

Reading these books helps me a lot, I have improved my writing skill. When I saw the topics, my mind will come out a lot of ideas, I have things to enrich my paper. My Spring Festival was great. Before the Chinese New Year, my families were all going to my grandparents’. Many of my relatives there were playing all the night. At night, we set off firecrackers. The voice was very loud, cars parked far from us were sounding. Maybe they feared the voice too.

The first day of the Chinese New Year, we all got up early. We said “Happy New Year!” or “Good luck this year!” to each other and get money from them. We visited our relatives all day. That made me feel very tired but very happy because I also can get money.

The second day of the New Year, I slept during the morning. In the afternoon, I went to the beautiful countryside, and visited the Yi River, it is very wide, about 1 kilometer.

大年三十这一天，我早早的起了床，穿上了新衣服，和爸爸、妈妈去超市买东西。只见大街上的人们都穿上了节日的盛装，脸上都挂满了喜气洋洋的笑容。
