The concept of responsibility is a necessary fiction. Although socities must hold their individuals accountable for their own actions, people‘s behavior is largely determined by forces not of their own making.

In fact, different careers and roles form diverse individual responsibilities, which result in individuals’voluntary behaviors.

On the other hand, there are not only specific individual responsibilities in diverse areas but also some fundamental values and accountabilities, which we all human beings cherish. From the moment one can speak or even is born, the society begins to instill the moral and ethical standards, which is so called humanity in every one‘s mind. The older one is, the deeper influence the humanity would be. When one is just a little child, he would go directly to what he like and claim it. Then when he is old enough, he would realize that it is incorrect and ashamed. And because of the awareness of what is right and wrong, one would probably never do any misdeed again. There are still many problems of environmental protection in recent years. On the one hand, it may lead to heavy traffic in that a large number of tourists go on traveling during the same Period, thus, it might cause air pollution. On the other hand, some tourists, with no awareness of environmental protection, often drop litter at random so that the scenic spots are polluted and thus it demands a tremendous sum of money to eliminate the pollution.

Considering the current grim situation, it is necessary that the authorities concerned should take immediate measures to eliminate these disadvantages. Only through these efforts can we relieve the traffic pressure and at the same time raise people’s awareness of environmental protection.

The Surroundings in Cities

We have to admit that, comparatively speaking, our cities are not so clean and green as those in the developed countries. There are not adequate trees, lawns and flower-beds in such big cities as Beijing,Tianjin and Shanghai.

We should make our cities greener by planting more trees, grass and flowers. A green enviromnent can bring us pleasure, beauty and fresh air. Trees, lawns and flowers will make our cities more pleasing to both the eye and the mind, improve the weather conditions and provide fresh air, all of which will no doubt do us a lot of good.

I suggest that the whole city go all out every spring to plant new trees, build new lawns in and around the city, and everyone should take care of and protect the trees, lawns and flowers, and educate the children to love them. Then year after year, our cities will become greener, more beautiful and liveable.

这次我们在一个乡村看到了一大堆的垃圾。看着这些垃圾我的内心震惊了：仅仅只在一个小山村竟然都会有这么多垃圾，那么这些垃圾到底又是从何而来呢？

要知道，塑料垃圾需要经过上百年才能彻底的分解，这样做即会污染环境，影响到大家的生活，又会使白色污染更加严重。

而在这些垃圾中又有许多垃圾是可以再次回收利用的，那么为何那些扔垃圾的人不将它们送到垃圾回收站，使这些垃圾再次回收利用，使环境污染不再严重。

毕竟我们现在生活的环境中，垃圾污染就十分的严重，而有些人为了自己方便，乱扔垃圾或是焚烧一些塑料袋等垃圾，这样做虽然方便了自己，但是却危害了大家。乱扔垃圾，会污染我们的环境，而焚烧塑料袋又会使空气中增加更多的二氧化碳，破坏臭氧层，使温室效应更加严重。

其实在我们的生活中，一些动物也可以帮助我处理垃圾，如蚯蚓可以帮助我们分解垃圾，使垃圾变成肥料。所以，我们不要乱扔垃圾，要把垃圾分类处理，以减轻对环境的污染。
