The origin of this summer festival centers around a scholarly government official named Chu Yuan. He was a good and respected man，but because of the misdeeds of jealous rivals he eventually fell into disfavor in the emperors court.

Unable to regain the respect of the emperor，in his sorrow Chu Yuan threw himself into the Mi Low river. Because of their admiration for Chu Yuan， the local people living adjacent to the Mi Lo River rushed into their boats to search for him while throwing rice into the waters to appease the river dragons.

Although they were unable to find Chu Yuan，their efforts are still commemorated today during the Dragon Boat Festival.

As we all know, pollution is harmful to living beings. There are many

different types of pollutions in this world. For instance, water pollution, air

pollution, noise pollution and so on. Water pollution cause many kinds of

disease that have negative effects on human beings, sometimes the diseases will

take people’s life away. Dirty air will increase the rate of getting lung

cancer. While the noise pollution will cause insomnia. People’s health condition

will be damaged.

In my humble opinion, people should take measures to control the pollution.

Recently, not only the government, but also individual has taken part in the

In the afternoon, the foreign language teacher introduced us to two people. One was Millie and she was dressed like a witch. Another is whitby. Hes dressed like a doctor. They took out a large bag of sugar and sprinkled it, and the sweets fell down like raindrops, and we rushed over them with lightning speed.

How time flies, the whole time passes, the school is out of school, look in full pocket, I thought: this Halloween is really happy ah! I like Halloween best!

今天是万圣节，我们戴上各式各样的面具，穿上五彩缤纷的衣裳，去学校参加活动。

到了那里，外语老师像幽灵一样地走进来，他穿着洁白无瑕的衣裳，脸上涂着粉。外语老师像野兽一样地扑来，吓得我们四处乱蹿。外语老师见我们吓成这样不禁“哈哈”大笑。外语老师还放碟子给我们看。我正看得津津有味时，外语老师跑到我身后大叫一声“啊……”吓得我面无人色。

到了下午，外语老师给我们介绍了两个人，一个是米丽，她打扮得像个小巫婆。还有一个是白比，他打扮得像个小博士。他俩拿出一大袋糖，洒了儿把，糖果像雨点一样地落下来，我们以闪电般地速度冲过去抢糖。

时光过得真快，一转眼就放学了，看着装得满满的口袋，我心想：这个万圣节可真开心啊!我最喜欢万圣节！
