Wonderful life in winter holiday

From the sixteenth of January to the seventh of February is our Winter Holiday. I think everybody did a lot of things in the Winter Holiday. But I didn’t. Let you to listen to my story of Winter Holiday.

I spend a lot of time on the homework.. Every day in my Winter Holiday, I always got up late. then I listened to the tape, it was nine o’clock. then I ate breakfast and then I did my homework during the daytime! I’m not very slow but the homework was too heavy!

the simple means of speech.

If we travel in buses, buy things in shops, or eat in restaurants, we are

likely to have conversations where we give information or opinions, receive news

Face-to-face contact is by no means the only form of communication and

The modern communication industry influences the way people live in society

and broadens their horizons by allowing access to information, education and

entertainment.

The printing, broadcasting and advertising industries are all involved with

informing, educating and entertaining.

Although a great deal of the material communicated by the mass media is

very valuable to the individual and to the society of which he is a part, the

vast modern network of communications is open to abuse.

However, the mass media are with us for better, for worse, and there is no

turning back.

Since I went to school, I spent a lot of time in study. My classmates and

teachers are just like my families. We almost meet each other every day. My

teachers help me a lot. When I meet problems in study, they are very patient and

help me to figure out the answers. When I have trouble in getting along with

other students, they will talk to me and comfort me. I am so thankful to them,

because they care about me just like my parents. I respect them so much. In my

heart, they are the great people. I must study hard so that I can return their

love.

When memory began for me, my grandfather was past sixty-a great tall man

with thick hair becoming gray. He had black eyes and a straight nose which ended

in a slightly flattened tip. Once he explained seriously to me that he got that

flattened tip as a small child when he fell down and stepped on his nose.

The little marks of laughter at the corners of his eyes were the prodnct of

a kindly and humorous nature. The years of work which had bent his shoulders had

never dulled his humour nor his love of a joke.

Everywhere he went, "Gramp" made friends easily. At the end of half an hour

you felt you had known him all your life. I soon learned that he hated to give

orders , but that when he had to, he tried to make his orders sound like

suggestions.

One July morning, as he was leaving to go to the cornfield, he said :

"Edwin, you can pick up the potatoes in the field today if you want to do that.

" Then he drove away with his horses.

The day passed, and I did not have any desire to pick up potatoes. Evening

came and the potatoes were still in the field. Gramp, dusty and tired, led the

horses to get their drink.

In the next few minutes I learned a lesson I would not forget: when Gramp

四、教学目标

My family is just a typical Chinese family. Loving parents and me as the only child. Sometimes being the only child in a family can be a tricky business. For example, you attract too much attention from your parents because you are the only kid they need to care about. It really bothers me sometime when they constantly keep telling me to keep up with my study and to get good grades in school. However, I think my parents are doing what is best for me. They are always on my side. When I wanted to participate in the school student union election to become the chair of the student union, they were excited about this and helped me in preparing my speech and choosing what to wear on that election day. I also am grateful to them because theyve bought me a piano. On the top we enjoyed the beautiful scenery and had a picnic.At dusk,we went down the mountain happily.I was the happiest one,because I not only got a toy train but also knew that one shouldnt give up readily.
