Friend plays important role in our lives. Everyone needs his or her own

friends. Some people make friends easily but some do not. And “friend” means

differently to people. Some people think friends should stay together all the

一本普通、简单的本子和老师鲜红色的笔记引起了我的好奇心。

是什么?老师给我的评语是什么呢?多少分?那篇能得多少分呢?

本子刚发下来，躁动的心就指挥我的手一把扒住它，小心翼翼地瞄着四周确保没有目光投到这儿来。几个鲜红色的字就这么粗暴而耀眼地嵌在我的本子上再也去不掉了。“38”这个数给了我不少欢喜，我离40分不远了!

轻瞄：有的同学把本子打开又合上……合上又打开，反反复复，好像正在寻觅最正确的打开方式;有的同学一拿到作文本就收入了包囊，他的本上是藏了什么吗;有的同学就爱往别人身上靠，左顾右盼伺机窥探机密，然后悄眯眯地看着自己的分数、或是傻笑，或是长叹一声。每一个同学脸上都藏着不同的“故事”……

又是鲜红的字迹，老师写的什么呢?好好奇呢;或者是这个本子有什么魔法，一直一直吸引着我的目光。

有时候，会觉得世界很小，只容得下一个小小的作文本，终于，看完了。忐忑的心情还没安定下来，心想：“我自己看自己的作文有什么可怕的?”可我的手偏偏不听话，又悄悄地，轻盈地合上了作文本。

我长叹一口气，好像刚刚经历过什么大事儿一般。留下的只剩老师的字迹，曙光照在本子上，烘托出一个温暖的情景。看着窗外，草地上飘动的苜蓿。多么幸运，我遇见了荆老师，是她，在我的本子上留下了永恒的印迹……

As it is known to us, Ping An was chosen to perform on the CCTV Spring

Festival Gala with his melodious and strong voice. Also, he had a great

achievement on this dream stage. Although he hadnt gain the popularity among

the audience at the beginning, he always kept his dream in mind and never gave

it up. It is his success that brings home to me the power of dream.

A life without a dream is a life without a sun. Therefore, in no

circumstances can we give up our dream. Unquestionably, dreams are of great

importance. For one thing, a person having a dream will be considered to be more

responsible and unswerving. For another, in pursuit of our dream, there is a

chance that good habits and positive attitudes can be formed, contributing to

our success.

As for our students, what we should do is to choose a healthy seed and

plant it on fertilized soil. Firstly, knowledge is the foundation of dream

realization, so we should spend much time in study to enrich ourselves.

Secondly, it also takes perseverance and confidence if we want to realize our

dreams. Last but not least, we should not be craven and timorous but brave when

we meeting obstacles.

Cell phone seems to be one of the most important inventions of 20 century.

Using cell phones to surf the Internet has become quite common in our daily

lives. Cell phone has exceeded its original function such as making phones calls

or sending message. Its multi-functions have make people’s tedious lives more

colorful. Many people, especially the young generation, have found that they can

not live without their cell phones. Many people feel uncomfortable in absence of

their cell phones. This may become a symptom called cell phone dependency.

First, many people have addicted to cell phones, they spend considerable

time and money on the phone, for it provide with numerous games and

applications. Some of them even use cell phones as computers that they keep the

phone open for all day long. As to some students, some of them even use the

phones to play games in the class, when they should focus on their study

instead. In this case, parents and teachers should limit the time that children

spending on the cell phones, for its have more disadvantages than

advantages.

Second, the dependency on cell phones has shown people’s anxiety towards to

their social interrelationship. A day without cell phone just feels like getting

lost in this big world. Every day, people tend to check their cell phones to see

if they have got any messages or surf the Internet, but the cell phone truly

affects their normal life.

There is no denying that cell phones have brought us considerable

convenient. However, we should be aware of the negative effects that cell phones

have brought to us. Just put down your cell phone for a while, and you will find

A library is a building for a collection or books, magazines, periodicals

and newspapers. The books are kept on the shelves in the stack room whereas the

magazines, journals, etc. in the reading rooms. Modern libraries also have xerox

rooms, and computer rooms.

If you want to borrow books, you can go to the loan desk, look over the

correct call numbers in the card catalog and ask the librarian to take then, out

for you. Or youre allowed to enter the stack room to rind books for yourself,

you can look up the bound volume or index for the articles relative to the

subject, on which you are going to write thesis. If the library doesnt

subscribe to the magazine which carries the article you want, you can borrow the

magazine from other libraries by means of interlibrary loan service.

Dont forget to show your library card or I.D. card to the librarian before

you go into the reading room, where you can read magazines or newspapers. If you

find a good article and want to keep it, you can have it duplicated in the xerox

room. Besides, if you want to watch films or slides, you can ask the

projectionist to play the videotape for you in the audio visual room, where you

can also listen to language tapes and music tapes.

乡村里没有充满欢快刺激的游乐场，也没有高耸入云的大厦，但那里却记载着我欢乐纯真的童年时光。

Everyone should go to school, of course, each person has their own ideal school. The ideal school does, indeed, than it is now for one hundred times.

Is my ideal school has a air conditioner in every classroom. In this way, students can study in a comfortable environment. The students will also develop the interest of reading.

我理想中的学校就是每间课室都有冷气机。这样，学生们就可以在舒适的环境下学习。学生们也会培养读书的兴趣。

接下来，校方准备手提电脑给学生们。那么，每位学生就有属于自己的手提电脑了，并不用与别班的学生共用了。而且，学校便不用设立电脑室了，直接在课室里上电脑课就好了。

除此之外，学校拥有两个分别深浅的游泳池。申的游泳池给高年级学习游泳，浅的则给低年级。校方还可以每三个月举办游泳测试。这样学生就那些溺水的人，当自己跌入水中时还可以自救。

随着时间的推移，我长大了，已经25岁了，那个就是我：扎着一个高高的辫子，戴着一个眼镜，随身带着一个小本子和笔，穿着一身很正式的衣服，带着一个小帽子，猜一猜我是什么职业，对了我就是一名――侦探。

到了案发现场，原来是一件浴室杀人案，一人平躺在浴室的浴盆里，表情很安静，在他胸口发现了一个伤口，像是用一个很锋利的圆锥形工具制造出来的。浴盆里还有水，像是杀人凶手在被害者洗澡时做案。我问告诉我消息的那个人，谁告诉你的这起杀人案，他说，是被害者的朋友告诉我的这个消息。我问他的朋友你是怎么发现的，我想找他一起出去玩，一到他的家里就发现这样了。这时我发现案发现场没有什么锋利的东西，但却发现了一个暖壶，我想可能是她作完案后，把杀人的冰锥放在暖壶里去了，案子发生到现在，肯定已经化成水了，我拿起暖壶往地上一倒，果然不出我所料，流出来的是又冰又红的水，这时只见她两腿颤抖，说为什么要杀他，我是为生活压力才杀他的。把她带走，关入监狱，等待处理。

是不是很刺激呀?每次破完案我都会有特别的成就感，是不是很吸引人呀?我为人们找到了真凶，解开了案子，解开了许多的矛盾，造福于人类，让未来世界和未来的人们越来越好。

常常有青年人这样说：“前方的道路还真漫长，可这一路要顺利安全的走过是多么困难呀!”这样的人是可悲的，至少他不会乐观的面对生活，所以他注定是失败的。不是还有积极乐观的人这样说嘛：“我们都是热血青年，整个社会的未来就掌握在我们这一代人手中了!”这样的人爱拼，敢拼，成功的机率是很高的。但又不能武断地说他的人生是一帆风顺的，因为好马也有失蹄的时候，所以能否成功仍需继续奋斗。

哲学中有这样一个观点：世界发展的总趋势是前进的，但道路是迂回曲折的。也就是说人的一生不可能一帆风顺，失败、挫折、走弯路是不可避免的，即使再谨慎的人，也会“误入歧途”。但我们不能就此一票否决了我们的人生。要相信光明总在前方，一时的失足，只是因为我们经验不足，而做出的一次错误的尝试，只要有了前车之鉴，我们就立即调整姿态，重新审视前方的道路，然后继续前进。或许一路跌跌撞撞好多次，但我们的羽翼会因此磨炼的更加丰满，最终我们能飞过重重阻碍，到达成功的彼岸。

在人生中不知有多少弯路会让人迷失自我，所以我们要有足够的信心和毅力去挑战。前方有沼泽，不小心踏了进去，身体不停的下陷，但我们不能绝望，因为一旦绝望，我们就注定失败，就再也爬不出泥潭。前方还有悬崖，当我们向前飞奔时，就要记着“悬崖勒马”这句话，避免我们在罪恶的深渊沉沦。就这样，一次次的摆脱的泥潭和悬崖，我们就会有更大的信心去走完剩下的人生之路。

说到“动乱”或许每个人都知道，它是一次由领导者错误的发动的一次革命运动。它使当时的中国社会一片混乱，经济水平每况日下。它是统治者在领导道路上走的一次弯路，但我们不能片面的否定它的影响。正是因为有了“动乱”的经验教训，才使得后来的领导者，立足于中国国情，寻求真正符合中国社会发展的道路。可以说每走一次弯路，就为我们的人生积累一个经验，最终促进人生的飞跃。

既然“失足”走弯路是不可避免的，那我们就不应绕过它。因为少走这次弯路，只会让我们年轻的翅膀在以后的道路上折伤更多次。少了前面经验的积累，我们只会在以后的泥潭中深陷、沉沦，不能自拔，最终看不到胜利的曙光，倒在了人生的路途中。

Nowadays with the ever rapid development and increasing popularity of the

information technology , shopping on the internet has been a fashion especially

among the youngsters.

Online shopping has made our daily life more convenient and comfortable.

For example , shopping on the internet can save students a great deal of time on

the way between home and store, so they would be able to concentrate more time

and energy on their academic work. The internet has shorten the distance between

manufacturers and consumers and thus we can even buy goods in other countries

.On the other hand , lack of the face to face deal makes online shopping less

reliable and trustworthy. What’ s more the delivery will increase the risk of

items’ damage.

In my opinion, shopping on the internet is a irreversible trend. More and

more people will be accustomed to it. It will be much more popular in the near

future. And at the same time we should take some measures to make it

perfect.

When I was very small, I lived in my hometown. My grandparents raised two

dogs, and I liked them very much. I watched them grow up from the little animals

to the big dogs. Every time when I leaved home for school, they would follow me

for some distance. When I walked a little far away, they would turn home. When I

went home after school, they would wait for me in the door and swayed their

tails. I knew they were welcoming me home. They were like my family members and

I learned that animals are part of our nature. We should protect them. We can

create a harmonious society.

There are many different beliefs about the origin of the Lantern Festival.

But one thing for sure is that it had something to do with celebrating and

cultivating positive relationship between people, families, nature and the

higher beings they believed were responsible for bringing/returning the light

each year.

One legend tells us that it was a time to worship Taiyi, the God of Heaven

in ancient times. The belief was that the God of Heaven controlled the destiny

of the human world. He had sixteen dragons at his beck and call and he decided

when to inflict drought, storms, famine or pestilence upon human beings.

Beginning with Qinshihuang, the first emperor to unite the country, all the

emperors ordered splendid ceremonies each year. The emperor would ask Taiyi to

bring favorable weather and good health to him and his people. Emperor Wudi of

the Han Dynasty directed special attention to this event. In 104 BC, he

proclaimed it as one of the most important celebrations and the ceremony would

last throughout the night. They clean it all up in the morning.

Another legend associates the Lantern Festival with Taoism. Tianguan is the

Taoist god responsible for good fortune. His birthday falls on the 15th day of

the first lunar month. It is said that Tianguan likes all types of

entertainment, so followers prepare various kinds of activities during which

they pray for good fortune.

Yet another common legend dealing with the origins of the Lantern Festival

speaks of a beautiful bird that flew down to earth from heaven, which was hunted

and killed by some villagers. This angered the Jade Emperor in Heaven because

the bird was his favorite one. Therefore, he planned a storm of fire to destroy

the village on the 15th lunar day. The Jade Emperors daughter heard of this

plan, and warned the villagers of her father’s plan to destroy their village.

The village was in turmoil because nobody knew how should they escape their

imminent destruction.

However, a wise man from another village suggested that every family should

hang red lanterns around their houses, set up bonfires on the streets, and

explode firecrackers on the 14th, 15th, and 16th lunar days. This would give the

village the appearance of being on fire to the Jade Emperor. On the 15th lunar

day, troops sent down from heaven whose mission was to destroy the village saw

that the village was already ablaze, and returned to heaven to report to the

Jade Emperor. Satisfied, the Jade Emperor decided not to burn down the village.

From that day on, people celebrate the anniversary on the 15th lunar day every

year by carrying red lanterns on the streets and exploding firecrackers and

fireworks.

There are many stories on how this festival was created. One other story is

about a maid. In the Han Dynasty, Mr. Eastern was a favorite advisor of the

emperor. One winter day, he went to the garden and heard a little girl crying

and getting ready to jump into a well to commit suicide. Mr. Eastern stopped her

and asked why. She said she was a maid in the emperors palace and her name was

Yuan-Xiao.

She never had the chance to meet her family after she started worked at the

palace. She missed them so much every 12th lunar month. If she couldnt have the

chance to show her filial piety in this life, she would rather die. Mr. Eastern

promised her to find a way so she could reunion with her family. Mr. Eastern

left the palace and set up a fortune-telling stall on the street and disguised

himself as a fortuneteller. Because of his reputation, many people asked for

their fortunes.

But every one got the same prediction - a severe fire accident on the 15th

lunar day. The rumor spread quickly. Everyone was worried about the future and

asked Mr. Eastern for help. Mr. Eastern said, "On the 13th lunar day, the God of

Fire will send a fairy lady in red to burn down the city. If you see a lady in

red wearing green pants riding a black horse on that day, you should ask for her

mercy." On that day, Yuan-Xiao pretended to be the red fairy lady. When people

asked for her help, she said, "Im the messenger of the God of Fire and came to

check on the city and Im going to set up fire on 15th. This is an order from

Chinese: 湯圓; pinyin: tāngyuán), another popular activity at this festival is

guessing lantern riddles (which became part of the festival during the Tang

Dynasty), which often contain messages of good fortune, family reunion, abundant

harvest, prosperity and love.

Today, I did housework for grandmother. She is not very healthy and I decide to do housework for her more frequently. And she will feel happy and become better. 吊兰养殖容易，适应性强，最为传统的居室垂挂植物之一。它的叶片细长柔软，由盆沿向下垂，舒展散垂，似花朵，四季常绿。吊兰是植物中的“甲醛去除之王”。

说起花，有的人喜欢名贵的牡丹;有的人喜欢像公主般漂亮的荷花;有的人喜欢火把般的美人蕉;甚至有的人喜欢不起眼的野花。而唯独我喜欢出淤泥而不染的吊兰。

看着我家窗前郁郁葱葱的`那盆吊兰，清淡优雅，阳台上那一抹绿吸引着我的目光。

吊兰的藤，深深扎进土里，如饥似渴地吮吸着甘露;也不提它小巧玲珑的花儿，六片花瓣儿完美地交叠着，围出一个天然美的造型。

吊兰的茎，由盆沿向外下垂，随风飘动，形如展翅跳跃的仙鹤。吊兰的叶，细长柔软的叶片从土壤里萌发，然后升高，而微微下垂，在空中划出一道优美的曲线，三两片挨着，像亲密细语着什么。

吊兰的花，雪白雪白的，一尘不染，就像天空中飘下来的雪花，又像白衣天使，它花瓣里隐藏着那弱小的花蕊，其上面小小的花粉，金黄色的，好似一个害羞的小姑娘，犹抱琵琶半遮面，浅藏在角落里。花儿看上去小巧玲珑，让人怜爱。有的花还未开，只是白嫩嫩的花苞，但那五瓣花上发出的阵阵清香让你沉浸在芳香弥漫之中。

吊兰喜欢湿润，向叶面多洒一点水，吊兰就不会枯萎，但如果水喷的太多，花盆里的水排水不畅，会导致叶子枯萎!

吊兰喜欢阳光，把其置于阳光下一段时间，不浇水、不施肥。它也不会枯萎。反而长得更茂盛，更加艳丽!

吊兰能净化空气，它是花卉中的吸毒能手!有“绿色净化器”之美称。它能在短时间内吸收各种有害气体，释放大量新鲜氧气，使人身体更加健康，心情更加舒畅。

吊兰没有牡丹花的高贵，没有玫瑰的美丽，没有松树的挺拔，但是它能带给我们一年四季的绿色，一年司机的生机，特别是在冬季百花调谢，万木枯黄的时候，吊兰在居室的角落，默默地奉献着自己。

我喜欢吊兰蓬勃的绿叶，喜欢吊兰艳丽的花朵，更喜欢他默默奉献的精神和顽强的生命力!

不知过了多久，我终于晃晃悠悠的经过了吊桥，但心里还是怦怦直跳，好险!此时，一股清新的空气迎面扑鼻而来，仔细闻一闻，新鲜的空气夹杂着泥土的清香。我抬头一看，立刻被眼前的美景惊呆了，一望无际的林海，郁郁葱葱，密密层层。一株株高大挺拔的树木，静静地站在天空下，守护者这片净土。阳光穿过密密麻麻的枝叶照射进来，星星点点的洒落在地上，真是美极了!树叶色彩斑斓，这时一阵风吹来，落下了许多。瞧，有的像蝴蝶，扭动着美丽的翅膀翩翩起舞;有的像一只只黄莺，展翅飞翔;还有的像舞蹈家那样，轻盈地旋转……一切都美得宛如来到了童话世界。偶尔，也有一两只不知名的鸟掠过，划破静寂。

我漫步在林间，耳旁传来哗哗的流水声，顺着声音寻去，我发现了一条小溪，溪水清澈见底。水里，溪边到处都是奇形怪状的石头，有些石头上面还刻着稀奇古怪的图案。

沿着小溪一直往前走，一座瀑布呈现在我眼前。飞瀑像一条白色缎带挂在悬崖上，连绵不绝地泻入潭中，水花打在岩石上，飞溅洒落，在阳光的折射下出现了一道美丽的彩虹。这景色让我感到美不胜收，仿佛置身于仙境。

我爱这片森林，更爱这大自然的美景!
