Many animals are in danger of dying out. As is shown in the chart, we can

see the number of animal species decreases faster and faster and this trend will

continue. From 1980 to 2010, at least 1 million animal species have disappeared.

Worse still, more and more wild animals are in great danger. It is not a piece

of sensational news; it is a fact, a harsh reality. Unfortunately, we may not

see these animals in the near future.

From the second picture, we can find some reasons. Why is the number of

animal species declining year by year? Apparently animals have become victims of

fashion industry. Animal skin has been used to make fashionable clothes and

these clothes sell at a high price. So some greedy people begin to kill animals

in a large quantity. This irresponsible behavior not only breaks the balance of

nature but also endangers the living environment of human beings.

As far as I am concerned, something must be done to stop this illegal

action. We believe "no buying, no killing". First, we must make concerning laws

to protect these animals in danger. Second, we must take some measures to

protect animals effectively. Animals are our friends and part of our

environment. Third, we should raise peoples awareness to protect animals and

our environment. In this way, we can build a harmonious society and ensure a

sustainable development.

My hometown is a small village located in the mountains.It is surrounded by lush hills and woods with a brook running through it.This is where children often frolic.The buildings in the village are old in appearance but peaceful.In the middle is a square,where there is a big tree,under which the elderly often meet drinking tea or chatting.Everyone looks satisfied and happy,which is also true of other villagers.I love my hometown,and I hope it may be as beautiful as ever.

绕过聚集的工程机械，爬上已经被剖开的山坡，我向着山的深处迈进。山路越走越窄，路边的野草却越发茂盛。雨后山间的空气清新而湿润，时不时飘来兰花的幽香。眼前的风景美的令我窒息，柔和的阳光挤过树枝，把金色的丝绸碎片细密的撒在布满苔藓的乱石上，布下圈圈耀眼的光斑。小溪清澈见底，细小的鱼儿在石隙间快活地穿梭。

山路逐渐被陡峭的巨石代替，石面上有规律的分布着一些坑槽，蜿蜒着通向山顶。当我手脚并用的翻过最后一座巨石，一间老石屋映入眼帘。它静静坐落在石山上，影子随意的斜映一旁。它的骨架是一块块透着黑色光泽的石头，多年的风雨已经看不出雕琢的痕迹。它身披一些瘦弱的爬墙虎，略显衣衫褴褛。我好奇的走上前去，发现屋后的巨石被琢成一个长方形石坑，山泉从石缝中偷偷地渗出来，汇聚成池。

随着一些声响，我绕过石屋，被眼前的一幕惊呆了。一位身穿蓝色布衣的老者正在专注的锄地，他头发灰白，整齐的束在脑后。个头不高，体型精瘦，长长的山羊胡飘在风中，真有几分仙风道骨的感觉呢!老者发现了我，却不惊讶，只是露出一种淡如茶的微笑。我按捺不住心里的好奇，上前跟他攀谈，得知老者是在山间修行的隐士。他指着山下那些机械告诉我：那些人曾让他下山，远离这清苦的生活，他只是摇摇头拒绝了。他目光矍铄眺望着远方，喃喃自语：我不能让他们毁了这地方……

夕阳西下，我与老者告别。回首望去，老者坐在红色的余晖中，那瘦长的身影似一根旗杆，屹立在山巅。

我至今仍好奇于老者无畏的信仰和对大自然的痴迷。觉得一身布衣的他，那座石屋，那一方山水，都应永恒的存在。

每年过生日，妈妈都要做一些我喜欢的食物作为我的生日大餐。今年也不例外，特别的生日美食满足了我这个小吃货。

生日那天，妈妈在厨房里忙活了好一阵，我满心欢喜地一看，有点失望，也就是一碗汤面嘛!一个大汤碗，盛着满满的一碗汤水，汤里飘着黑黑、长长的面条，面上搭着两个荷包蛋，一些绿葱花漂浮在油花上。看到这么寒碜的一碗面，我愣住了，心里又是气恼又是着急，不住地吐槽起来：“我的生日餐就这么一碗黑面?”

悲从中来，眼角不自觉地泛出了泪花。妈妈倒不急，一边安抚我，一边轻声地说：“平时什么好吃的我们都吃过的，今天就吃点不一样的。我先来给你做示范!”妈妈拿起筷子挑起一大夹子，从面的下头顺着面条，一边儿地往上吸，“哧溜”一声，全进嘴里了，只见妈妈连连点头，眼角也泛起了泪花：“对!对!就是这味儿，就是这味儿……”我有点蒙了，这面条有这么好吃吗?

“你外婆说，生我的时候，耗尽了体力，当时，除了姜汤，家里没什么可吃的。后来，你外公好不容易给你外婆弄了碗加盖鸡蛋的爽面，外婆说那是她这一辈子吃过最好的一顿饭了。后来，日子好过了，每逢妈妈生日，外婆总给我做加荷包蛋的爽面。今天，你也吃吃妈妈做的!”

我拿起筷子，照着妈妈的法儿吃了起来。哎呀，还真是不错：醇厚的土面香，很有劲道，浓香的面汤!一吃上就没停下来，没几下，整碗都下肚了。这时，我雨过天晴，竖起大拇指说：“这面真是好吃!”

“这土爽面是我们这里的宝，它可凝结着我们家乡人们的智慧和技艺呢!它还是我们、我们的祖辈们浓浓的亲情的见证啊!面儿长，情也久，汤儿浓，情也深!”妈妈感叹。

面儿长，情也久，汤儿浓，情也深!从此这碗生日面的“味儿”，陪伴着我的生活，走到哪，我都会想念它。

To the ordinary Chinese, the festival actually begins on the eve of the

lunar New Year‘s Day and ends on the fifth day of the first month of the lunar

calendar. But the 15th of the first month, which normally is called the Lantern

Festival, means the official end of the Spring Festival in many parts of the

country.

Spring Festival is the most importantand popular festival in China.Before

Spring Festival ,the people usually clean and decorate their houses.And they go

to the Flower Fairs to buy some flowers.

During Spring Festival ,the adults usually give lucky money to

children.People often get together and have a big meal.Some people eat dumpling

for dinner.

I love Spring Festival .

The cold air has come for a while, I stayed at my house all the time, as

there was nothing for me go do, I watched the movies. When I saw the beach and

sunshine in the movie, I miss the sunshine so much. Today is lucky for me, the

sun finally comes out, I decide to go out for a walk and take in the fresh air.

The breeze blows me softly, I can sense the coming of spring, I walk into a

coffee shop and choose a table which is near the window. I sit down and watch

people just walk by, I see all kinds of face expressions, I try to read them.

There is a girl who is talking to his boyfriend, maybe he is proposing her, I

can see from the girl’s sweet smile. There is another man sitting alone, may he

is waiting for his wife. I have a great time in the bright afternoon.

记得去年冬天，妈妈给我买了两个火龙果，我吃掉了一个，另一个我舍不得吃，就突发奇想：火龙果的籽如果埋在泥土里，会怎么样呢?

想到这里，我立马行动起来，扒开火龙果的“红袍”，切开火龙果，挑出一粒粒芝麻似的籽，又把家里大大小小的花盆都找了出来，将这些小小的籽埋入了泥土，静静等待它的变化……

春天来了，也真是功夫不负有心人!经过一个多月的精心呵护：浇水，阳光浴，每个花盆里竟然都探出了密密麻麻的绿色的“小脑袋”。原来是火龙果的籽发芽了，它们是由两瓣叶状的肉芽组成，完全展开后，样子开始千姿百态起来了，它们有的长得像翩翩起舞的蝴蝶，有的长得像捉迷藏的小兔子，露出一对小耳朵，有的则无规则地叠加在一起，像一个个蒙古包“屹立”在花盆里。

不几天，每一个嫩芽逐渐长大，从两片肉芽的中间长出一个看似仙人掌的东东，全身带刺，但摸起来却一点儿也不扎手，而是有种痒痒的感觉，掰开仔细一看是三角星状，又薄又脆，水灵灵的。那些东东越长越高，越长越粗，转眼就郁郁葱葱，它们有的昂头挺胸，有的头倒向花盆的边缘，还有的猫着腰，挺着大肚子……真是千姿百态，形状各异啊!

火龙果的籽很好打理，几天没浇水，它照样能生长，如果一盆水浇下去，它也不会被淹死，有个成语说得好：“随遇而安”，火龙果的籽就是这样能够在艰苦的环境下，坚强地活下去!即使没有花开，我的兴趣未曾减少，即使不结果实，但我还忒爱它!您是否也情不自禁地赞叹它这旺盛又顽强的生命之力?

Christmas Day is very popular around the world, when that day comes, we can

see the Christmas products sell everywhere, though Christmas Day is not

originating from China, in our country, more and more people spend that day. A

foreigner pointed out that Christmas meant to be grateful for them, while for

Chinese people, it was just a day for celebrating. To me, Christmas indeed means

a day to have fun.

When I was small, I did not have the concept of Christmas, because in my

mind, I only knew Chinese traditional festivals, I liked Spring Festival best, I

could get a lot of money from parents. When I went to high school, all of my

friends would talk about Christmas Day when the day was near, so I started to

know it. Almost every young people like Christmas, but if you ask them what the

meaning of the day, less of them can answer.

The meaning of Christmas Day is to remind people of Jesus’s birth, it is so

important for the western people, but for me, I only want to have fun, everyone

is celebrating it, so I join them, being happy, that’s enough for me.

“哗——哗——”伴随着大海一阵阵优美的歌声，在这风和日丽的下午，一只漂流瓶正怡然自得地漂浮在海面上。

这只漂流瓶外表清澈透明，瓶中似乎有一张纸条，瓶盖在这海水中长时间的浸泡，已经变得泛黄，瓶盖下面系有一条细小的红绳子。谁都不知道它从哪里来，也不知道它要到哪去。

它一直这样飘着、飘着……

它看见过像棉花糖似的白云，看见过像蓝宝石一样的天空，欣赏了红日初升的美丽，当然也领略了电闪雷鸣的可怕……

它就这样一直漂着、飘着……

一只白色的大海鸥从它头顶迅速划过，从高到底，由远及近，海鸥用它那像樱桃的小爪紧贴海面，划出了一条美丽的弧线，然后一声鸣叫，潇洒地冲向蓝天……

海鸥为什么不把我带走?我想到去附近那漂亮的小岛欣赏风景，我想到白云上俯瞰辽阔的海面!漂流瓶默默地想。

力大无穷的海浪一次又一次把它推向前方，突然，这只小漂流瓶在没有做好准备的情况下，一个大浪向它慢慢逼近，“唰——”一声，浪涛把小漂流瓶卷起来，一直卷到小岛的边缘。

就差一点，就差那么一点点，小漂流瓶就能脱离大海的束缚，到小岛上去生活了，可是它也不能上岸，岛上无人，自然不会拾起它。它只得继续随波逐流。

它继续飘着、飘着……

有一艘豪华轮船经过，甲板上有个小女孩甚至惊喜的叫着：“瞧，那儿有一只瓶子!“但是没有人来捞它。偶有风帆从身边经过，但帆船激起的浪花，又把它冲得远远的……

不知飘了多久，也不知飘了多远。终于有一天，一阵吵杂声惊醒了它。它已经冲到海岸边，一群人正在围着它说着什么。

一个健壮的男人弯下腰，双手捧起了它，对其它人说：”这是漂流瓶。“他小心翼翼地打开瓶盖，漂流瓶里渗进了一些海水，里面的纸条有点泛黄，但里面的文字依旧清晰可见。

漂流瓶默默地想：我终于结束了旅程，终于完成了我的愿望。

一年一度的圣诞节又要到了，可我们是炎黄子孙，应该继承我国悠久的历史文化，传承和发扬中国的传统节日。因为它清晰地记录着中华民族丰富而多彩的社会生活文化，承载着博大精深的历史文化内涵。

在星期五下午，同学们聚集在红山区第九幼儿园门口，来参加朝思梦想的庙会。在老师的带领下，我们穿过了一条“阴暗”的小走廊，这时，一根根如剑般的光束闪烁起来;一阵风吹过，它们还响起来，那声音清脆优美。我定睛一看，哈!原来是一些五彩的小玻璃!“呼——吓死我了，以为是刺客呢!”刚想喊“护驾”!一个同学擦了擦冷汗，长叹一口气。同学们哈哈大笑，随着欢快的气氛，我们在一个房间稍作休息后来到场地上，看到了许多老奶奶和老爷爷扭起了大秧歌，那样子既滑稽又好玩。我们又来到多功能教室看了“皮影戏”---三打白骨精，这是我第一次看皮影戏，觉得简直就是动画片与京剧的完美结合!简直太好看了!紧接着，我们开始了新年庙会活动，有传统剪纸艺术，还有美味的小吃……展台上的商品称得上琳琅满目，应有尽有，我选了几件心仪的商品，突然发现走廊有些冷冷清清的——哈哈!我们班的“小吃货都跑一楼选好吃的去啦!

这次庙会虽然短暂，但我的收获特别大!两个玩具和一堆美味，大饱口福哇!同时，我也受到了祖国传统文化的熏陶和节日气氛的感染。我们组建自己的购物团一起买吃的，一起买玩具，讨价还价，原来合作是这么愉快的事情!我们还一起送给老师们美味的小吃，看到老师们幸福的笑容，让我学会了感恩。

My school is in the east end of the city. It takes me half an hour to get to school on foot. I usually ride a bike to school.

There are over one hundred and fifty teachers and about two thousand students in our school. We have two classroom buildings.The office building is three storeys high. On weekdays our teachers often take us to the laboratories to do experiments. Sometimes we have English lesson in the language lab. We have a very large playground.

After school we take part in various activities, such as ball games, painting, singing and dancing. I like to play football with my classmates.

I love my teachers. I love my school.

What is healthy diet? To the most people, healthy diet means more green

foods, no junk foods. The green food is those pollution-free, high quality and

nutrient food, including the organic vegetables and meats, fruits, eggs and so

on. The meals of healthy diet should be cooked with fewer salt and oil. And the

junk food is those low nutrition, high calorie, processed food with much salt or

oil, such as the fries, fried chickens, salted eggs and so on. These foods will

cause one get weight and increase the risk of many diseases. We should keep a

healthy diet, abandon the junk food to keep ourselves healthy.

鞭炮声噼里啪啦的响了起来，新年的脚步已经到来，各地风俗有与众不同，我就来写一写我们家乡热闹非凡的庙会。

“卖糖葫芦喽，卖糖葫芦喽!”大街上到处都是吆喝声，路的两旁到处都是摆小摊的，中间的人出也出不去，进也进不来。摆小摊的真是让我眼花缭乱，卖的物品真的是让我大饱眼福。一边是卖小吃的，有炸鸡柳，棉花糖、糖葫芦。另一边还有卖玩具的，有手表、面具、大刀、皇冠、小鼓……一个小摊在卖鞭炮，一个小摊在卖贡品，还有卖可爱的小白兔。

人在脸上画上脸谱，穿上戏服，拿上工具，用手比划着，奇特的唱腔在台上唱着，不用说，那就是戏班子在给老百姓们唱戏呢!台上很简朴，但是台下的观众可不少，台上一曲唱完接着唱，观众们看完一曲鼓掌，接着鼓掌，尤其是年过花甲的老人们，看得真是津津有味，甚至有的还能哼上一两句。

在一个大的空地上，有很多人都在活动。几个人成群结队舞起狮子来，很多人都围观，连声叫好。另一支队伍全部都是中年女性，一边放上音乐，跳起运动舞来。

还有一个必不可少的一点，那就是去烧香拜佛。进到棚子里，扑面而来的就是烧的香，到处都有烟在飘来飘去，交了钱，便可以进去烧香拜佛。转了一圈，只看见有人插上香，献上贡品，跪在毯子上，手掌和在一起，闭上眼睛，小声念叨着什么，磕头的时候，头轻轻地挨到地上，双手分开手心着地，然后连续磕三下，就完成了。

庙会热闹非凡，我爱我家乡的春节。

我的学校在泉州市中山北路，面对着中山公园。

我们学校的大门是由石柱和三个大小铁门组成的，石柱上还写着：“泉州市实验小学”几个金色的大字。

一走进大门，就可以看见许许多多五颜六色的花草，还有仙人掌。校园里有几棵比办公楼还高的大榕树，就像几把大雨伞。

大门的右边有个运动场，动动场上有四条跑道，跑道围成的中央有一块绿色的活动场，是用塑胶铺成的，像一块绿色的草坪。运动场边上还有各种各样的运动器材。

走过学校的主通道，就看见左侧是学校的办公大楼。办公大楼有许多玻璃窗，被太阳光一照，就发出耀眼的光来。办公大楼的外墙上还挂着一个比黑板还大的屏幕，这个屏幕经常播放些新闻和各种各样的节目。

通过办公楼的一条天桥，就可以走进教学楼。我们的教学楼共五层，我的教室在二楼。教学楼前面是一个操场，操场上有一个围着树身的公开栏，还有两个篮球架、还有石桌

石椅、还有个小喷泉，喷出来的水像一串串透明的珠子。

顺着学校的主通道往前走，就可以来到学校后操场。后操场有一个篮球场，还有许多乒乓球桌。对了，我们后操场旁边还有一座实验楼，我还在那里学过毛笔字呢!我们学校有个特点，办公楼、教学楼和实验楼都用天桥连在一起。

我的学校就这么美丽，我喜欢我的学校!

我的家乡南昌是个“怪”城，冬不冷，夏不热的，既不像上海是科技发达，金融贸易的大城市，也不像老舍笔下的济南，温暖舒适，气候宜人。要说起它的特色，大概就是那小雨吧，一年到头，没个停的。

春天，别的城市是桃花妩媚，梨花香甜的花花世界。而南昌像一只甜甜睡着的小绵羊，只有偶尔的小雨陪伴着这城市里的人早出晚归，像不辞辛苦的爸爸妈妈，终日保护着我们。

可别说，“春雨贵如油”这话可没错，要不然那小草哪能那般青绿呢?水果哪能那么快上市呢?街上的人哪能个个含着笑脸呢?南昌哪能是公认的“鱼米之乡”呢?

夏日炎炎，人家是家家“九牧”，户户“美的”呀!为什么?没听广告说着么：“九牧，好洁具的标准!美的，生活原来可以更美的!”，烈日当头，你不让人家洗澡，吹空调，还要活吗?可南昌不一样，别以为你“夏天”能称多久英雄，我“暴雨”现在就来惩治你，说完，“哗啦啦”一盆大雨浇下来，连打雷都省了，虽然有时候会把人淋个“落汤鸡”，不过对于南昌省水省电的费用还是有不可磨灭的功劳的。(作者：顺便提醒旅客，若来南昌玩，伞是必需品。)

“秋雨知时节，当秋乃发生，随风潜……”哈哈哈，没错，现在轮到秋雨了，我跟你说，其实秋雨真的很懂事哦!它知道农民伯伯一年到头都在盼望着这时候的果实，所以牺牲自己麻烦农民伯伯，只是在秋叶落得满地没人扫的时候才轻轻地将落叶冲走，让它归根，明年再抽出新芽。

冬天，真是个好季节呢，难怪我们的伟大领袖，都忍不住写下《沁园春?雪》来赞美它呢!不过，冬天的雨早已摇身一变，变成了一位“纤纤少女”——雪。一身洁白的素装，含着淡淡的笑容飘落在人间，时而落在等待萌芽的小树上，时而落在傲立的梅花上。我倒觉得这比济南的阳光可爱多了，也美多了。毕竟，老人也说过，“瑞雪召丰年”嘛!

哎呀，这个南昌，真是个“怪”城!

Since I was a little child, I had a dream that I wanted to be a doctor.

When I was little, I watched many TV series and movies about doctors. I thought

they were so great. Therefore, I made up my mind to be a doctor. In my opinion,

doctor is the people who can help patience get out of sickness and pain.I want

to be the person who can help others. However, being a doctor needs so much

professional knowledge and there is a long way to go. So I have to try my best

on my study and go to a good college.

表姐准备来我家，我准备为她介绍我的动物朋友——一只毛茸茸的小仓鼠。

这只小仓鼠全身都是金色的毛，头上隐约有三个不知道是什么颜色的竖线，手总喜欢东刨刨，西刨刨，脚也喜欢带着它跑来跑去，刚买回来时都怀疑买了只兔子，它的眼睛水汪汪的，有时还以为它哭了呢！

你千万别看它可爱，就也认为它很乖巧，不是的，它不高兴时会暴躁如雷，这边跑，那边窜，这时，你一定不要伸手过去，不然，它“吱”一声，就把你手指咬住，死活也不放手，除非你把它能吃的东西给它，它才张口。但它高兴时就会带着它的粮食塞进你的手里，你只要一摇头，它就跑回去换一种食物再塞你手里，反反复复，它就像个服务员似的，给你上一端又一端的菜。

它特别能吃，我有一次在它很饿的时候放了很多的食物，它一看，眼睛差点儿就绿了，我觉得有趣，故意不放进去，仓鼠一看，发怒了，眼睛似乎要着火了，我害怕它不高兴了，连忙放了进去，我刚走几步，它吱吱吱的叫着，我一回头，妈呀，它竟然吃完了！它还在叫着，似乎在对我说：“还有没有？有就拿出来！不然，有你好看的！”我连忙跑了过去，给它加上，又是一会儿，它吃完了，我看它脸上没了“杀气”，就松了口气，走了。没过多久，我又听到了呼呼的声音，原来，它睡着了。

这就是我要向表姐介绍的仓鼠，“叮咚”，哎呀，表姐来了，我该去介绍了！

我和小狗曹成每天都在牵牛花园里玩耍。有一次，曹成跑在前面，它太贪玩了，我怎么追都追不上它。曹成跑着跑着，突然回头看了我一眼，就一不小心撞在了花园的栅栏上，我赶紧跑过去，抱起曹成，一起观察牵牛花。我看到牵牛花的藤条上长满了密密麻麻的绿叶，它的叶子是爱心形的。牵牛花的茎又细又长，弯弯的，上面有一层白色的小绒毛。细细的小藤条在微风中来回摆动。曹成还抓着一个最低的牵牛花的藤条，摇来摇去。就这样，这些平淡无奇的牵牛花，给我和曹成却带来了无限的乐趣。

有一个周末，我起床后去给牵牛花浇水，我发现牵牛花已经吹起了紫色的小喇叭。它的花朵是紫红的，开放的花朵像一个个小喇叭，所以牵牛花也叫喇叭花。下午，我放学回家，发现这些牵牛花的花瓣全部卷了起来，像一个个害羞的小姑娘。这是为什么呢?带着疑问我走进家门，和妈妈一起查阅了资料。原来啊，牵牛花的花冠大而薄，需要充足的水分。清晨的空气比较湿润，气温不高，阳光也很柔和，牵牛花里面的水分非常饱满，因此牵牛花才开得那么鲜艳，那么灿烂。下午呢，太阳当空照，空气变得干燥起来，根部又因为茎太长，来不及把水分提供给花冠，花冠也就“弹尽粮绝”了，卷起来了。

我恍然大悟，原来牵牛花离不开水呀，怪不得早上开，晚上闭呢!

有时候，牵牛花还能预报天气呢!如果你看牵牛花开着，就表示天气凉爽而且湿润;如果牵牛花闭着，那就表示天气炎热而且干燥。

大自然的奥秘真是无处不在，只要我们留心观察，大自然就会告诉我们答案。

Chinese micro blog has about five years of history. Though it’s very short,the micro blogs in China are popular with young people, especially we students. We students believe that micro blog is very useful, we can do many things by using it. For example, we can get news and information quickly. And we can write our feelings, our sense of life and some small things everyday on it, just like keeping a simple diary in 140 worlds or fewer. We can enjoy or upload photos, videos and music easily. What’s more, we can find or create a hot topic, and then talk about the topic with others online. How interesting!

中国的微博大约有五年的历史。虽然它很短，但是微博在中国年轻人中很受欢迎，尤其是我们这样的学生。我们学生认为微博客是非常有用的，我们可以用它做很多事情。例如，我们可以迅速获取新闻和信息。我们可以写我们的感情，我们对生活的感受和一些每天发生的小事情，就像是在写140字或更少字数的简单日记。我们可以很容易的欣赏或上传照片，视频和音乐。更重要的是，我们可以找到或创造热门话题，然后与他人在线谈论该话题。多么有趣啊!

Lots of my classmates and teachers have micro blogs. I also like using micro blog very much. I often upload my pictures and get some advice from others who can draw well. And it’s also a great way to learn English by using micro blogs. We can try to write three beautiful English sentences and then ask someone to modife them and teach us online.
