The New Year is coming and this term has finished. Now, I can enjoy a happy

winter holiday. In winter holiday, I don’t have to get up early every morning.

It’s the best thing for me. I often get up at nine o’clock in the morning. My

parents go to work so I stay at home alone. I will go out for breakfast. Noodle,

milk and egg are my favorites. Then I go back home to watch TV or meet my

friends. We always have many things to do. My parents would go home at noon so I

have lunch at home. In the afternoon, I will sleep and then do some homework. In

short, I spend most time in playing. I love winter holiday.

When I watch the TV series, there always present the rich familys life,

but I dont feel envious about the rich life. It is obvious that though these

people live the better life, the cost is that their parents spend less time to

play with them. The time to stay with our parents is really important, while the

rich parents have much work to do, so they dont have much private hours. I was

born in an ordinary family. My parents will never miss the moment when I need

them. I am so thankful to life, because I have my parents love. Whats more, I

have made many good friends. We share our interest and have a lot in common.

As is known to all， food is a priority for the mon people.Recently，

however， reports about food problems have often been seen in the newspapers，

showing that people have always been concerned about what they eat every day.

The reason for this problem is that some of the food producers are too fond of

making money， leading to the result that they use whatever will make the food

look good or taste better without considering the bad consequences。 This is not

normal because people just cannot live without eating anything.

So we should take all the measures necessary to forbid the food producers

to make food that is not safe enough. Laws should be strengthened and the

government should have more control over these producers。 Only when people are

no longer worried about whether their food is safe or not can they enjoy a

better life.

The air we breathe is so freely available that we take it for granted. Yet without it we could not survive more than a few minutes. For the most part, the same air is available to everyone, and everyone needs it. Some people use the air to sustain them while they sit around and feel sorry for themselves. Others breathe in the air and use the energy it provides to make a magnificent life for themselves.

Opportunity is the same way. It is everywhere. Opportunity is so freely available that we take it for granted. Yet opportunity alone is not enough to create success. Opportunity must be seized and acted upon in order to have value. So many people are so anxious to "get in" on a "ground floor opportunity", as if the opportunity will do all the work. Thats impossible.

Just as you need air to breathe, you need opportunity to succeed. It takes more than just breathing in the fresh air of opportunity, however. You must make use of that opportunity. October 1st is the national day of our country, which is a public holiday for the whole country. It’s an important day that marks the beginning of PRC. On that day, there are plenty of celebrations holding throughout the country, from the central government to the general people. And public places, including big squares, parks are decorated in festive theme. In recent years, the national holiday means the golden week as well, which is a short holiday that all people expect to. With the improvement of living standards, people have more money and desire to travel and the golden week is a good chance for them. 后悔其实是一种消磨意志的情绪，它是比损失更大的损失，比错误更大的错误。后悔就如滚雪球一样，你越是不制止它，它只会越滚越大，越滚越快，最后，你根本无法让它停止。就拿篮球比赛来说，输了一场球，就后悔自己刚才技术不到位或者其它什么因素，进而这种情绪就会影响你下一场比赛，本来一场有希望赢的比赛，会在你消极的情绪下化为泡影。后悔不会给你带来任何的快乐与利益，你只会被它所吞噬掉。

其次，失败后，我们要保持一种乐观，积极向上的心态。一个在内心里屈服的人，怎么可能再应对自己的“仇敌”呢!我们要向亚伯拉罕?林肯那样，即便在当时政府军队节节败退，很多人都失去了信心，但他仍然坚持不懈地对敌军加以阻击，正如他所说：“没有什么能剥夺我继续出牌的权利，除非我倒下了。”面对挫折，我们就应该有这种无所畏惧的勇气和信心。多次生意失败或许会让人对整个人生改观，但信心会让人重获胜利的希望，要相信生活是一面镜子，当你对着它微笑时，它也会对着你微笑。

尉蓝的天空是多么美!那一片浓厚的白云，高高挂在晴空上。它轻轻地在飘! 风是它的旅行车，它有着自己的目标;是那世界的尽头。

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen! Its my honor to tell you about the

changes of mySchool.

When you walk around our school, you can see various flowers and trees

everywhere. At the same time, you can smell the taste, breathe fresh air. Its a

nice place for us to study.

Please look at the new building over there. Its our library that was

painted white again this year. It not only looks more beautiful, but also has

increasingly more books than before. Reading different kinds of books can

enhance our horizons and increase our knowledge. I still remember I entered the

school two years ago, the library was old enough and I always couldnt find my

favorite comic books. Therefore, I often complained to my classmates that the

library was out of fashion that we were not able to learn fresh knowledge in

it.

What was even worse, as a member of school basketball team, my partners and

I had few chances to practice, as the playground was too small to play and full

of so many students after school. Luckily, I dont have to worry about that

anymore, because our playground is large enough for all of us to play games, and

basketball court is also bigger. Thats wonderful!

My school has changed a lot, for it is more beautiful and modern. I love my

school.

On the weekend I like to spend time in library. I like reading books. There

are many people in the library, but it is very quiet. Nobody talks in the room,

only the sound of page turning. I’m very interested in the space, so I read a

lot of books about space. Recently, I read the book Martian. It is about an

astronaut Mark left on the Mars alone, he did many things to keep himself alive.

After 549 solar days his crew mates came back to take him home. Mark is very

tough to survive in Mars, he is a big hero. In the library I can read so many

story and see the bigger world. I like library.

With the development of Internet, more and more people tend to shop on the

Internet. Online shopping has provided some benefits for us, but it also has

some disadvantages at the same time.

For one thing, online shopping has brought some convenience for consumers.

Instead of going one shop to another, people can choose and buy all kinds of

commodities they like as long as they click the mouse gently. This is not only a

better choice for the old who do not have enough energy to go outside but also a

great convenience for those who have no time to go shopping in person. In

addition, consumers have more choices and can do some comparison when they are

shopping on the Internet. They can glance over various commodities in all

shapes, sizes and colors and decided to buy or not. Furthermore, online shopping

has made a great contribution to the development of express delivery

industry.

However, for another, shopping on the Internet also has some shortcomings.

Firstly, those who shop on the Internet can’t try the goods before they buy.

Sometimes, the real goods are not the same as the goods they see on the

Internet. Secondly, some shops on the Internet are dishonest and they would not

deliver the goods after paying. And if this situation happens, the consumers

would find nowhere to complain and never pull out the money any longer.

Therefore, we should pay more attention when shopping on the Internet.

Dragon Boat Festival,often known as Tuen Ng Festival or Duan Wu Festival,is

a traditional Chinese festival held on the fifth day of the fifth month of the

Chinese calendar.Dragon Boat festival memorializes the Chinese poet Qu Yuan.He

committed suicide by drowning himself in a river because he was disgusted by the

corruption of the Chu government.People sat on dragon boats,and tried to scare

the fishes away by the thundering sound of drums.Hence,toady we sail the dragon

boats to celebrate this festival.Also,people eat zongzi (the food originally

intended to feed the fishes) in memory of Qus dramatic death.

“咕——咕——”肚子又叫了，呀，快到饭点了，我从房间里出来，今天是端午节，我太开心了!回忆中那一只只诱人的粽子，不停地敲打着我的味蕾，真好吃!

我飘飘然地走了出去，正好撞见一家人在包粽子，我都有点儿不好意思了，连忙上前帮忙。我找了把椅子，盘腿坐下，“这下该怎么包呢?”我咬了咬手指，不管三七二十一，直接上手!我就抽了几张湿漉漉的粽叶，交错叠好，舀了一大勺子米就往里面倒。“哎!别呀!”外婆连忙阻止了我：“傻孩子，放那么多，会漏的!况且它这么胖，衣服包不下呀!”我想也是，就倒掉了一小半米，这样给它穿衣服轻松多了!咦?它的衣服该怎么穿来着?

机灵的我向旁边瞟了瞟，是四只角的呀，这就好办了!于是，我就把露在外边的粽叶，向里边裹回来，“嗞——”粽叶破了，我惊得睁大了眼睛，赶紧抽了一张新的裹在破裂处，“嗞——”哎呀，这一片也被我撕破了!我急得犹如热锅上的蚂蚁，不知道该怎么办。这时，妈妈从我手中拿走了这只“受伤的粽子”，一边补救，一边对我说：“遇事不能慌，救粽子其实很简单，只要拿新粽叶覆盖上去就好啦!也不用强行包裹，不然准会撕烂……”我在一旁认真听着，点头如小鸡啄米。妈妈包完后，把粽子递给了我：“接下来，就差捆“腰带”了!”“捆的时候是不是得捆紧一点呢?”我想着。我拿起一根水草，在粽子上绕了好几圈，手一用力往上一拉，水草居然在这一瞬间给断了，我下巴都磕地上了，这可怎么办?我就这样拿着这只粽子冥思苦想，最后，我灵机一动，把断了的两条绳子绑起来继续捆，最后绑了一个大蝴蝶结，五花大绑的粽子就完工!

出锅喽!我立马抓起那只自己包的粽子，虽然包得不像粽样，也不像人样，但味道依旧呀!入口软糯，带着一丝丝粽叶的清香，咀嚼几下，可口美味的粽子冲向你的五脏六腑。我笑了，果然，自己动手下功夫的才是真美味。

“你怎么这么烦呀。”当在我说出这句话的一霎那，我有些后悔，因为我看见了，母亲眼底的泪光，听见了母亲心碎的声音。

那是一个充满着生机的月份，小鸟在枝头歌唱，花儿高昂着头，楼下花园里一直鸟妈妈在带着它的小鸟学飞，翅膀扑棱棱，叫声鸣啾啾，好听极了。飞奔回家想要给母亲炫耀我的成绩，一切都是那么的美好，就如我的心情一样。走进家门，母亲那亲切的问候在耳边响起，我从书包拿出了一张卷子递给了她。看着这张卷子的母亲，没有多么激动，反而让人出乎意料地平静，耳边传来的也不是我预想的那声夸赞，而是“你看这道题，你才做过怎么可以做错……”听着这些话我的心里很是难受，心中的期待也被一盆凉水浇灭了，看着母亲，我心中委屈极了，怒火也也从心底渐渐升起到嘴边最终化成了一句：“你怎么这么烦呀!”

我有些后悔，但又想母亲对我的否定完全不顾我的感受，便把涌到嘴边的道歉压了回去，“你……”她刚想说些什么，嘴唇颤动了几下，惊措以及不解的眼神里也是满含委屈，最终什么也没说，只是走到门口摔门而去，她可能不明白自己的女儿到底怎么了，为何会变成了这副模样，仿佛以前的听话都是假象。

空气中沉淀着压抑，我也跑到楼下，刚还在枝上的鸟妈妈不知所踪，只剩下小鸟孤单地扑棱着翅膀。看着它，我有些心疼，它或许被它的妈妈抛弃了吧!这时，一只野猫来了，它一次次地爬上树攻击那只可怜的小鸟，小鸟只能惊慌地不停拍打着翅膀，从一棵树飞到另一棵树来回地周旋。那绝望的声音似曾相识，我刚要上去帮它，这时大鸟回来了，它直冲向那只野猫，一次一次，啄它，抓它，用不大的翅膀不住地拍打，嘴里发出尖锐的鸣叫。

我的眼睛有些湿润，这时一双粗糙但温暖的手握住了我，是母亲，母亲看着我，什么也没说，我抱住了她，眼泪也忍不住流了下来，“对不起，妈妈。”我哭得很狼狈，不知是我的哭声还是鸟妈妈执着的冲击，大黑猫竟然退缩了，一溜烟钻进树丛里去了。

一个阳光明媚的早晨，姑姑为了不让我和堂哥、表弟在家里玩，就把我们统统赶了下去。

我们在小卖部一人买了一瓶可乐，就去小区凉亭玩手机。正走着，迎面一个小朋友推着婴儿车飞跑过来，我们往旁边避让。哪里想到，那个小朋友也往旁边一推，“砰”的一声，我们撞到了一起。

远处一个中年妇女赶忙跑了过来，一边扶起小朋友，一边大声喊道：“你们三个瞎了吗!往我儿子身上撞。我儿子有多金贵你们知道吗?赶紧道歉!如果受了伤，我跟你们没完!”见那阿姨蛮不讲理，我们也不客气，跟她吵了起来。虽然我们三张嘴，到底不是她的对手，最后还是败下阵来。

人，很容易情绪化，有句话是这样说的：冲动是魔鬼。社会上一些影响很大的负面事件，究其因都是当事人对情绪管理不当造成的。所以呀，我们要学会控制自己的情绪，要学会管理自己的情绪，做情绪的主人。

It is known to all that Christmas Day is on December 25th. It is the

biggest day in the western countries. But not so many people know about the

White Christmas in China. The day before Christmas Day, if it snows, then the

world is in white color. People are happy about that, because they think it

means the happiness and luck. So that’s the meaning of White Christmas. It

always snows a lot on Christmas Eve, because it is in winter in the western

countries. All the families get together and enjoy their moment while watching

educate children only for educating them. Our purpose is to fit them for

In some modern countries it has been fashionable to think that free

education for all can solve all the problems of society and build a perfect

nation. But we can already see that free education for all is not enough.We find

in such countries a far larger number of people with university degrees refusing

to do what they think is "low"work, and. in fact, working with ones hands is

thought to be dirty and shameful in such countries.

But we have only to think a moment to understand that the work of a

completely uneducated farmer is far more important than that of a professor~ we

can live without education,but we die if we have no food. If no one cleaned our

streets and took the rubbish away from our houses, we should get terrible

diseases in our towns.

In fact, when we say that all of us must be educated to fit us for life, it

means that we must be educated in such a way that, firstly, each of us can do

whatever work is suited to his brains and ability and, secondly, that we can

realize that all jobs are necessary to society, and that it is very bad to be

ashamed of ones work. Only such a type of education can be considered valuable

to society.

汽车缓缓开上石桥，我按捺不住兴奋摇下了车窗，内心充满了再次与“她”相遇的欣喜。

这里是妈妈的老家，是一座山脚下浑然天成的小村庄。在我遥远的印象里，她钟灵毓秀，毋须修饰便足够清新可爱，一如我梦境最美好的样子。

此时她款款向我走来，令我的心怎能不怦怦直跳?

关于村庄的回忆，已经是三年前了，犹记得那时来到这里的惊喜心情。与我自小生活的大城市不同，这里的竹林郁郁葱葱，有青色屋瓦隐在婆娑的竹影间，屋前几股细细的溪流灵巧地穿梭，最后在原野上汇成一条窄窄的河流。那时天是多么的蓝，水是多么的清，与小河两厢凝望时，我以为看到了天!

哪怕村庄少人光顾，或许她在别人眼里不过普普通通，我也依旧为其神魂颠倒，我为我发现了她的美丽而自豪!

然而进了村庄，我因眼前景象呆愣住了：矮矮的屋檐已不在，高高的小楼洋房取而代之，仿欧式的白色浮雕外墙从上到下透着一股子俗味。

那时的清纯呢?我为这样的发现而苦恼。没关系，我还有可爱的小河，她一定秀气如当年!我安慰着自己。

下了车，走几步，便看到了一间隆隆作响的厂房，几台机器同时运转，声音大得像妖怪一样;灰色水泥地板铁铸的窗，看上去无情而冷漠。我皱起眉，转过头，一路飞奔，把那吃人的工厂远远抛在身后。

穿过竹林，迈过田埂，我来到记忆中的原野。

令人沮丧的是，我发现小河不再是记忆中的模样了：河水污浊，混杂着泥沙;河岸边上搁浅着一堆白色塑料瓶和各色塑料袋，看上去颓败又堕落。

失落，失望，愤怒，各色负面情绪笼罩着我。我背过身，抬头望天，可天也不是蓝的，像蒙上了一层遮羞用的灰色面纱。——我竟现在才注意到。

洗刷掉自欺欺人的滤镜，下面是骤然黯淡的皮囊。

难捱的几天后，车子再次开上了石桥。天上飘起了小雨，车窗上氤氲了一层薄薄的水雾。透过窗玻璃，看见村庄与我渐行渐远，在模糊的景色中已有些难以分辨。我在心里默默地想：村庄现在的改变，是否是发展的必然?我能够原谅拔地而起的洋房，却不能原谅面目全非的小河。亲身的见闻警醒了我：人究竟要把自己推到何等的绝境才肯罢休?

如果无法还给小河蓝天最初的笑颜，哪怕大厦千幢，也不过海市蜃楼。

Since I went to middle school, I grew up very fast. On the one hand, I live

in school from Monday to Friday, so I need to learn to get along with roommates.

We share the cleaning work to make sure a good environment. It is everybodys

duty to sweep the floor on turn. On the other hand, I need to solve the problems

from life by myself. Without parents by my side all the time, I learn to face

troubles and figure out all the ways to solve them. I become much independent

and stronger. Now I can deal with my stuff alone.

每当休息的时候，我总喜欢搬来一张小摇椅来到阳台上，随手拿来一本书，轻轻打开，细细品读，带着书香的微风轻轻地抚摸着我的脸颊，什么烦恼都会抛到九霄云外去了。每次看书，我都会如痴如醉，全身心地投入到书中去，仿佛自己就是书中的那位主人公。主人公一开心，我就会开怀大笑;主人公一遇到危险，我的脑神经也就跟着紧张起来，随着主人公一起陷入思考解决办法的深渊;主人公一伤心，我也泪如雨下;有时候，我甚至和书中的人物大吵大闹起来……读书真让我着迷!

一次，爸爸给我在新华书店买了一本《拇指班长》，我看到这本书，高兴得一蹦三尺高，立刻三步并作两步以迅雷不及掩耳之势扑到了爸爸怀里，高兴的接过这本崭新的、在灯光的照耀下闪闪发亮的书。跑回房间仔细阅读，这本书讲了调皮的孔东东正在调制“孔东东牌”珍珠奶茶，不料发现少了一种配料：酸梅粉。聪明的孔东东灵机一动，想出了一个绝妙的办法：用酸梅糖来代替酸梅粉。没想到，酸梅糖可以让人心想事成，他还利用这种特异功能把抢劫犯变成了狗熊，让小区里矮小的树苗在一瞬间就飞速长成了参天大树，高得让人惊叹不已……“来吃饭了”，一旁的妈妈正在用广播的音量喊我，可我却跟没听见似的，还是若无其事的，书让我太着迷……

为什么读书会让我着迷呢?因为：我没有去过非洲，没有去过南极大陆，但我却领略过非洲大陆的美丽风情，为南极洲的圣洁天地而深深陶醉。因为读书让我身临其境，让我着迷……

书一本一本地读，时光一年一年地溜走，蓦然抬头，那份书卷气已悄然映在脸上，是啊!还有什么比书卷气更令人赏心悦目的吗?

书已经和我融为一体了，我离不开书，它是我形影不离的好朋友。它让我漫游历史的长河，穿越“上下五千年”……它是干渴中的一滴水，黑暗中的一缕阳光，大海中一艘能载人的船……它让我着迷，它丰富了我的大脑，增长了我的见识，充实了我的生活，陶冶了我的情操……
