这就是我的房间。我喜欢独自呆在我的房间里做作业。在我的业余时间里我还喜欢在我的房间里吹笛子。我的房间是我的小世界。

My room is lovely and bright. Its not big,but its clean and tidy.

On walking into my room,you can see a big window. Through the window you can see the blue sky and green trees. Sometimes you also can see some birds flying in the sky. Under the window is a big desk. On the desk there are my school things and my flute. On the right side of the desk is a bookshelf, you can find all kinds of books on it. But my favourite books are about animals and science. Next to the shelf is my favourite thing—computer. It gives me knowledge and makes me happy. Opposite the door is my comfortable bed. On the wall above the bed are two maps. One is a map of China,the others is a map of the world. I learn a lot of things from them.

This is my room. I like to stay in my room alone and do my homework. I like playing the flute in my spare time in it. My room is my small world.

Gulangyu---- a fairyland in the world As May Day is coming, many people plan a visit to Gulangyu, a beautiful island in Xiamen. Gulangyu is an island of Xiamen, which is surrounded by the blue sea. It’s like a garden on the water. You can go there by ship/sea. On the island, cars, buses and bikes are not permitted there. It is so quiet that wherever you go, you can hear the sound of playing the piano. As a result of this, it is called “ the island of music”.

(Thus/ Therefore) The Sunshine Rock is/lies on the highest place of the island. Standing on the top of it, you can enjoy/catch sight of the beautiful scenery of the whole Xiamen and other islands. If you want to know more about Xiamen’s history and changes, you can visit Xiamen Museum, which will make you understand Xiamen better. Such is Gulangyu, a fairyland in the world.

After completing my military service, I have been looking for a challenging goal for me to achieve. And I found that the Intermediate of General English Proficiency Test fits my new achievement properly.I graduated from Taipei Commercial Junior College, majored in business administration. Instead of spending much time in playing, I devoted myself to my studies and paid attention to all meaningful things happened in daily life. By the way, I learned a lot from Mr. Wang, the professor of my business class. He is my good friend till now an often gives some appropriate suggestions toward my problem confusion.My father is, in the same way, a good consultant to me. As he said: I am in poor education, little for you; to clarify, what he have given is far beyond his words, I do think so. I was born in a country of Ping Tung Country, farming is our career of generations. There are four people in my family, Mother is housewife and my brother is a student of an Agriculture CollegeI am optimistic and active, and I am confident that I can pass the test. My favourite animal is fish. Because they are very interesting. There are many kinds of fish. They are liveing in water very free. They are very colorful, some fish are red, some fish are white, and some fish are gold... So I like them very much !!!!

我最喜欢的动物是鱼。因为他们是非常有趣的。鱼的种类非常多。他们是在水中自由自在的生活。他们是五颜六色的,一些鱼是红色的,一些鱼是白色的,一些鱼是黄金色的……我非常喜欢它们! ! ! !
