My grade school days are the most wonderful time I have ever had. In those days I always wanted as eagerly to learn as a dog prowls about in search of food. The teachers taught me not only the three R’s but also the way to observe the world surrounding us. They laid more stress on observation than on memorization. So I want to make good use of books to improve myself. Finally, do exercise regularly. A healthy body is the basic of other things. I must take part in exercise to keep healthy. And doing exercise makes me relaxed and happy. I hope all my plans can come true in the new term.

all, we should recognize our strengths and weaknesses. For example, I am healthy

and fit, so I can work hard. Im also optimistic, humble and polite. These are

my strengths. However, I also have weaknesses. For one thing, Im stubborn and a

little impatient. Im sometimes lazy as well and can spent a whole day just

watching TV and eating junk food. Im not ashamed to admit these bad pints.

Knowing what they are lets me focus on improving myself.

Today I had a good time. It was my grandpas birthday. Our family went back to his home to celebrate his birthday. My mother cooked many delicious food and we brought a big birthday cake. We got together to have a big family dinner. We gave grandpa some presents and said, "Happy birthday to you!" In the afternoon we went boating in the park. We enjoyed ourselves, and my grandpa had a nice time on his birthday.

My Happy Times During Winter Vacation

I often go to see my grandma and grandpa during winter vacation. They are both seventy years old and live in the country happily. I can do many interesting things there. I am used to getting up early in the morning and breathing the fresh air in the countryside. After snow, I would like to skate and ski with my friends. When night comes, I am used to sitting by the fire and listening to grandma telling me many funny stories. And I tell her some new things happening in the city. When I have to go back, I am always reluctant to go. I really feel happy living in the country.
