正如这个岔路口一般，生活中的我们面临多种选择。人们通常认为，我们在选择去获得什么，拥有什么，但在我看来，我们在选择放弃什么。

选择作一名老师意味着放弃了像商人一样奢华富有的生活。

选择作一名顶尖学生意味着放弃了许多在电视机前的闲暇时间。

当然，放弃的选择是一种苦难，但我们必须用心审度，什么对自己来说更为重要，做出选择，然后放弃其他，不要再回首想那些已放弃的东西，把精力集中于你正在做的事。

站在这里的我，已选择了在这样大规模的比赛中挑战自我，所以我必须放弃十天的正常功课和没有压力的轻松感。但我依然高兴，因为适宜的放弃弃之后，我更加专注于自己的选择。

让我们回到那个岔路口吧，你会选择哪一个呢?我，选择挑战此地!

我觉得生活是一种幸福，因为在家里养活自己是一件非常令人感到快活和幸福的事。

记得有一次，妈妈给了我一千元人民币，让我自己生活一周，我便开始了一周属于自己的生活。

第一天，我用一百元买了鱼肉，就给爸爸妈妈炒上了一顿美食。可是，吃完以后又变成了许多剩菜了，我把剩菜倒了。收拾好后，我便洗碗，洗了不一会儿，就已经洗不动了，只好休息一会儿又继续洗。

第二天，妈妈开车送我上学，路上遇到了一个“碰瓷”的老人。我这个当家人，当然要出面了。经过不停的纠纷，最后动起手来了。警察发现了，说是我的错。让我用两百元钱赔给了那位老人。

后来的四天，家里没有大鱼大肉。我统计了一下，六天我一共用去了八百十一元。

在最后的一天里，我带着剩余的钱去超市买了许多美食，回家给爸爸妈妈做了好吃的饭菜。吃好晚饭，收拾停当，我数了数剩余的钱，还有七十二元。我拿着数好的钱，一元不剩的给了妈妈。

这一周，让我体验到了生活的艰辛，也体验到了爸爸妈妈平时是多么不容易。在当家的这些日子，能为爸爸妈妈分担做一些事，也是我最幸福的一段时光。

改革开放以来，人民生活有了翻天覆地的变换：交通便捷了，环境改善了，经济水平提高了……这一切不禁让我想起了伟大的革命者。

为了推翻帝国主义、封建主义和官僚资本主义这压在中国人民头上多年的“三座大山”，无数仁人志士抛头颅洒热血；无数革命先烈为了打到国民党反动派，为了建立新中国不怕牺牲，前仆后继。一句话：我们为了人们的幸福生活，以名族解放事业为人生目的，宁愿牺牲自己宝贵的生命。

新中国成立以后，中国共产党团结带领全国各族人民，经过艰苦奋斗，使社会主义新中国的面貌。发生了历史性的变化。高层领导通过“十一五”、“十二五”的规划实施，基本解决了人民就业、上学、住房等问题，使人民生活有保障。为了人民的幸福，党和政府向人民交出了一份温暖人心的民生答卷！

可见，今天的幸福生活是多么的来之不易啊！

当我坐在宽敞明亮的教师，听着老师娓娓动听地讲课时，我认识到今天的幸福生活是先辈用血肉之躯换来的，是全国人民的努力才走向今天的辉煌；中国革命经过奋斗、挫折、再奋斗的历程，才有了60年来新中国昂首屹立于世界东方！

幸福？老百姓们认为：幸福，是推开阳台呼吸夹带着山野气息的徐徐清风；幸福，是站在村头广场看日升日落的漫天红霞；幸福，是亲朋好友相聚客厅的开怀畅谈；幸福，是通过电脑网络了解世界的缤纷色彩；幸福，是坐在灯光下安静地读书，、；幸福，是踩着滑板从门前畅通无阻滑到街上的童年；幸福，是一顶顶草帽编织完成，一筐筐水果被收购一空……

幸福是我人们追求的基本价值，是人类发展的目标。但幸福不单单只是人们物质、生活、经济水平的丰富，它离不开精神世界的构筑，让人们感受到精神上的愉悦和舒畅。正如罗斯福所说：“幸福不在于拥有金钱，而在于获得成就时的喜悦以及产生创造力的激情。”

瞧！大庆石油工人王进喜“宁可少活20年，排名也要拿下大油田”的铁人气概；“两弹一氢”元勋“献身国防科技，甘当无名英雄”的思想境界；援藏干部孔繁森“鞠躬尽瘁为人民，先忠魂”的赤诚之心；下水管道工徐虎“脏了我一个，干净千万家”的宽广胸怀；海空卫士王伟“勇斗霸权不畏死，捍卫主权献青春”的革命英雄主义……

我呢？每个人都在为了这幸福生活不懈追求，作为一个新时代的中学生，我应该做些什么？

是的！我要把文化知识学习与思想品德紧密结合起来；把创新思维与社会实践紧密结合起来；把全面发展与个性发展紧密结合起来。我可以成为中华民族腾飞华彩乐章中生动跳跃的音符—为了国家更加繁荣富强，人民更加幸福安康，社会更加和谐美好！
