There were so many activity in the Dragon Boat Festival!

农历五月初五为端午节，又称端阳节、午日节、五月节、艾节、端五、重午、午日、夏节。虽然名称不同，但各地人民过节的习俗是相同的。端午节是我国二千多年的旧习俗，每到这一天，家家户户挂艾叶菖蒲，赛龙舟，吃粽子，饮雄黄酒，游百病，佩香囊。

今天是端午节，大家知道端午节的来历吗?!不知道吧!那就让我来告诉你们吧!你们还记得楚国那位爱国大将屈原吗?我来说一说他吧!

屈原是战国时期出国人，很有学问。他在楚王身边做官，以形象是自己的国家富强起来。昏君楚王却听信奸臣的话，把屈原削职流放。在流放中，屈原听说楚国的都城被敌人占领，百姓遭难，悲愤极了。五月初五这一天，他来到汨罗江边，怀抱一块石头，以纵身跳入汨罗江中。出国的百姓听到屈原投江的消息，都十分悲痛。他们含着泪划着船赶来打捞屈原，还把粽子扔到江里喂鱼，希望鱼儿不要伤害屈原的身体。这就是五月端阳包粽子的来历。

端午节还有许多有趣的活动。列如赛龙舟，挂香囊，香囊内有朱砂、雄黄、香药，外包以丝布，清香四溢，再以五色丝线弦扣成索，作各种不同形状，结成一串，形形色色，玲珑夺目。还有挂艾叶、菖蒲的习惯。

端午节的活动可真多啊!

Save the Wild Animals

Many wild animals are facing the danger of extinction, because the environment that they are living in has changed greatly. For example, with the developmet of cities, the using of insecticide and serious pollution, their living areas have become narrowcr and narrower. Many of the wild animals, now are confronted with food crisis. At the same time, man is killing off species just for getting their fur, skin, horns, teeth and meat.

In order to protect our resources of ecology, people should realize that the loss of any species is at least the loss of source of knowledge and a source of natural beauty. There fore, measures of the following should be taken: pollution standards are made to keepdown poisons; killing off certain rare species is prohibited; national parks should be set up as wild life, reserves.

Only if we human beings take some drastic measures can wild animals be preserved.

保护野生动物

许多野生动物正面临绝种的危险，因为它们生活的环境发生了极大的变化。譬 如，随着城市的发展，杀虫剂的使用和严重的污染，野生动物的生活区域变得越来越狭小。许多野生动物目前正面临着食物方面的危机。同时，为了获取野生动物的毛、皮、角、牙齿和肉，人类正在屠杀野生动物。

为了保护生态资源，人们应当意识到任何物种的缺失，至少意味着知识资源和自然美的缺失。因此，应采取以下措施：制订污染标准以降低有毒物质;严禁杀害某些稀有物种;应建立国家公园作为野生动植物保护区。

我们只有采取一些有力措施，才能保护野生动物。

幸福是什么？幸福在哪里？对于一个七年级的学生来说，幸福是手捧优异成绩的喜悦，幸福是收获知识，幸福是珍惜友谊……而对于我来说，幸福还是她的唠叨。

她在黑暗中照亮我前进远方的路，她是春日的于，冬日的阳；是夏日的风，秋日的果，没有人能丈量她脚下的路有多长。也是她让我感到幸福，她是一名人民教师，平日里经常跟我和妹妹唠叨，讲大道理，对付我们俩，她也有独特的手段——“罚单”，“罚单”根据我俩的错误而制定的一种惩罚手段，我俩都怕这个。

那一天，正下着毛毛细雨，妈妈让我打着对她来说很重要的伞去奶奶家接妹妹。路上我哼着小曲儿，心中充满疑惑：妈妈今天怎么了，为什么让我打这把伞？算了，总之不用听她唠叨了，小心点就是了。我正想着就被一块石头绊倒了，迎面和大地妈妈来了一个拥抱，摔得我衣服上全是泥，手上的伞也不知道到哪里去了，我赶忙爬起来，只看到一把散架了的伞在水坑里，我赶忙到一家小店躲雨，想对策：怎么办？领到罚单就惨了，我怎么能摔倒呢，不是说小心点么，怎么办？此时，一个念头浮现在我的脑海中……

雨停了，我大步走到奶奶家，换了身干净衣服，把已经散架了的伞交给妹妹说：“拿着，快些走。”到了家，妈妈看到散了架的伞，眼中充满怒火：“这是谁干的？”我小声嘀咕道：“是，是妹。”没等我说完，妹妹就领到了罚单。

事后，妹妹还是“姐姐，姐姐”地叫我，使我感到十分惭愧和愧疚，便主动向妈妈承认了错误，没想到一阵沉默后，妈妈并没有我想象的大发雷霆，而是语重心长地对我说：“孩子啊！亡羊补牢，为时不晚。一个人如果没有诚信，就像没有了灵魂。一个人如果拥有诚信，道德……人生将因此而完美。人生好比一颗宝石，如果用诚信镶边，人生会更加灿烂夺目。

有人会说，这不算幸福。但我认为这就是幸福，为有一个总讲大道理的妈妈而幸福，因为这些大道理总会让我无比幸福地珍藏下去，无情的时间，也冲不去它的痕迹。
