龙潭公园里原来有条美丽的湖。

不知从什么时候起，湖水变黄了水面上还浮着几条死鱼，开始发臭，污染了清澈的湖水。

Pollution is harmful to human beings. Polluted water causes many kinds of diseases such as diarrhea, enteritis, etc. And sometimes these diseases even take man’s life.
